Well here I go again. Got there at 8:45 no one there. No sign posted as to what time they were closed. So I walked in with my wife and daughter. There was a person at the grill. So I asked if they were closed. There was no answer. The guy at the grill looked around and a lady came out no expression. She looked like she was mad. She said what do you want? I gave her my order and then she said that’s it and I pointed to my wife and daughter. Two more people came in at this time. They ordered. We sat for about 5 minutes she called our number and I went and pick it up. So we started eating. The other people got there order and left. We were not even halfway through our food and she walks behind me and says we are closed. Their clock had just turned 9:00 and she actually was kicking us out. So I turned around and said so you are close now and you want us to leave in the middle of us eating. She said yes and walked away. I was really upset at the way I was treated. I always liked flame broilers food. I will never come to this one again. This lady(Deniel) if that’s her name is on the receipt. This is not the only time that she has been rude, but it was at me until this time. I hope she is not the owner. If she is she has a lot to learn about customer service. If she is not the owner I hope the owner reads this and does something about it. Reading other reviews I guess I’m not the only one that feels the same way. I live right down the street from this place not even two minutes away. But if I want flame broiler again I will drive to the one that’s closer to Torrance High School.

This restaurant serves healthy food. And it taste good. My concerns are while I’m eating their playing gangsta music. Fuck this shit, motherfucker, shit shit shit is all I hear. Umm, this isn’t ghetto is it? Torrance? Anyway, I just don’t care much about this type of music. Oh yeah, the cashier has no personality at all. I really hate that. She talked like she hated her job. No smiles. No hi how are you? I would have fired her. Ok maybe she’s having a bad day. I don’t care. Customer service is important miss!

Lol ghetto ass flame broiler now I remember why I stopped coming here. You need a giant kitchen spoon in order to go to the restroom. The walls are all tagged and then the music in the eating area is super loud playing staticky west coast rap. The chicken was over cooked and dry. I think I will be driving the extra 3 miles to the nearest Flame Broiler next time.

This place doesn’t even deserve a one star! I just came from ordering a meal that came to $ 60 and when I get back to the office i realize i’m missing a plate. Since this has happened before and had no problem getting the missing plate I drove 1 mile back to this place to pick it up. DISSAPOINTED! They wouldn’t give me the plate and said that they would give me a refund if I took all the plates back. First of all I didn’t want a refund I just wanted my $ 5 plate. The cashier Michelle and supervisor Daniel spoke to me the whole time with a smile as if there is anything to smile about when I am being accused of trying to steal a $ 5 plate! The food is «ok» nothing special so the fact that I won’t be going back here is not much of a loss.

I like Flame Broiler. It’s perfect if you want a chicken or beef bowl. Portions are just right and the food is tasty. I like mixing the magic sauce with the hot sauce in the rice of my chicken bowl. Menu is super simple. Chicken or beef, white or brown rice, veggies or no veggies… works for me!

By far the worst flame broiler I’ve been to. The employees are rude, chicken taste burnt and service was SLOOOOW. I’ll stick to the first one just a couple blocks down in old torrance!

I am giving this flame broiler two stars today. Went in for lunch, got a small beef bowl. No problem there, staff friendly, but when I went to the jalapeño bar something told me. ehh not right. i took just a few jalapenos back to the office and tasted before I tainted my entire lunch. So glad. There is no liquid in their jalapenos and they taste like Gherkins(you know those icky tiny sweet pickles). Their beef was a tad bit overcooked. a little too cripsy on the edges for me but the brown rice was good, and I think better than that of the Flame broiler down the street. This is a new establishment so they have some work to do but because I really like jalapenos in my beef bowl, I think I will continue to drive the extra mile for the other FB on Arlington & Carson.

Like sex in a bowl… HEALTHY sex in a bowl at that… so maybe like cardio in a bowl? Please don’t ask me where this is going because I don’t know. All I know is I am in love with Flame Broiler. I have no clue how something so simple and healthy can taste so good. This new location is definitely on par with the other two I’ve visited. Called in my order, guy said it would be ready in 10 minutes, and it was. Oh and unlike the other two Flame Broilers this guy actually listened when I said NOFREAKINGONIONS! Seriously they just get in the way of my meat, veggie, rice experience. But I digress again. Just eat Flame Broiler. It’s delicious. The End.

This new location has rekindled my love for flame broiler. Located in the former genkai grill space, it is spacious, clean, and well-lit. They’re running a pretty good deal on bowl+drink or plate+drink as a promo for the grand opening. Check it out!

I usually don’t review fast food chains because usually the experience is basically consistent, I can’t tell you the BEST Jack In the Box. But I’ve had genuinely good experiences here. At Harbor UCLA we have been ordering from here since they opened across the street. They had a nice grand opening special and the food is much healthier and less greasy then other places nearby. The manager did not want to prepare my order ahead of time. I insisted as I was on a time crunch but I always appreciate when someone take pride in their product. There was pride when he said it tasted best fresh off the grill.
