I come here because they have the best iced matcha outside of Japan. If I could come here and drink their tea everyday, I would!
The menu here is simple if you’re coming after iced green tea. You can get sencha, unsweetened or sweetened. You can get matcha; unsweetened, lightly sweetened, or with milk in a frappé. My personal favorite is the lightly sweetened matcha.
The ladies here are to the point and efficient with your orders. $ 5 minimum with a card, which is more than one drink, but they also have lots of nice teas and roasted sheets of nori (seaweed) for purchase.
They also have a small area to sit and have real Japanese tea, under an oiled umbrella in a tea bowl and wagashi sweet. I haven’t had the tea set here, even though I keep meaning to. It looks so charming and refreshing!
This place is such a gem, tucked away in the Mitsuwa food court area.

This place serves up a solid ice green tea. It’s not your Lipton, Sobe, Arizona over sweetened and artificial GT over here… this is the real deal. Matcha leaves a slight bitter taste in your mouth, but in a good way.
You can have your matcha green tea sweetened or unsweetened, straight up or with milk… both are pretty good, and cheap too! They also serve other green tea items, some of which would me a great gift. Bring cash!

Know what you want. $ 5 MINIMUM for card transactions. Very straight to the point business. No need to get offended so easily if workers aren’t doing the most to smile/​greet. Delicious, fast, refreshing, reasonable prices! You can not go wrong with any of the options. They are perfectly sweetened (at least, to me).

Sweet little lady behind the counter made me one of the best matcha lattes I’ve ever had. I only wish they used honey instead of agave.

I had the Matcha Milk Tea and it was perfect!!!
The perfect mixture of Matcha, whole milk, and agave nectar. It was not overwhelming with the sugar at all and I normally don’t get sugar at all.
I can say it is the most legit Matcha Milk Tea that I have ever tasted in my life and it was not bad for price at all!
It is really a bang for your buck and it’s size was so big that I could not finish it!
But I would definitely come back!

Feeling the thirst in this hot sunny California weather so I decided to stop by and got their #1 Lightly Sweetened Iced Green Tea and ahhhhhh~~ it totally hit the spot!
This tea shop is inside the Japanese Marketplace across from a Takoyaki and ramen shop. It’s pretty small but the service was super quick and friendly. They gave me the drink before I even gave them the cash haha!
The tea is light and mild and perfectly sweetened. If you’re use to super sweet ice tea from McDonalds or Walgreens then this is not for you. This is quality green tea leaves milled to a fine powder and gently brewed and iced.
Perfect for this sunny day :)

This little teahouse is located inside Mitsuwa Market in Torrance. I’ve tried both sweetened and unsweetened iced green tea and their matcha green iced tea. They also offer Matcha Green Milk Tea. Matcha green iced tea in my opinion’s too powdery. My favorite one is #2. Unsweetened Iced Green Tea for only $ 1.50 plus tax. No complaint with customer service. Parking is relatively easy as people are not staying long by coming and going.
There’s a food court inside Mitsuwa Market with several great food options. I hit this place up first before placing my order for lunch. You can also purchase boxes of green tea or matcha powder to brew yourself at home.

Tasty macha milk tea! It was refreshing and service was fast. It wasn’t too sweet, really frosty, perfect for hot days. The place is tucked away in the food court area. I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area.

When one is in Torrance (aka Little Tokyo Number 2) one needs to enjoy some good quality matcha!
This is a tiny storefront (barely) in Mitsuwa market, which sells the famous Yamamotoyama matcha, but also drinks to go! It’s a simple menu, but their iced matcha latte is amazing! $ 4 gets you a generous serving of matcha and milk, sweetened with agave, and served with the friendly service you find of most employees here. Definitely the best iced matcha latte I’ve had in a long time, and definitely my go to place the next time I’m back!

I’m a matcha fanatic and I Love the matcha drinks here! I wish it was closer to me so I could come more often.
Service is quick and friendly. There’s plenty of seating throughout the plaza. Pair your drink with any snack or pastry from the bakery near the cash registers!
Honestly you cannot get a matcha drink like the ones here anywhere else. Their drinks are the perfect blend of sweet and flavorful matcha.

#1 all the way. The perfect lightly sweetened green tea for a warm day. Had some of the #5 Matcha milk blend and it was pretty good too, but too powdery for me.

This place is a hidden gem! Located in the Torrance Mitsuwa’s food court, Yamamotoyama sells an assortment of tea-​oriented products, including freshly-​made iced tea. If you’ve ever purchased Yamamotoyama’s tea at Asian grocery stores — it comes in brightly colored boxes filled with aluminum-​sealed tea bags for maximum freshness — then you already know their tea is fantastic. Needless to say, their iced drinks are such stuff as dreams are made on!
Although the drink menu is small when compared to other boba and tea shops, you’d be hard-​pressed to find another shop with universally awesome options. The menu basically has 3 options: iced green tea ($ 1.50), iced matcha ($ 2.75), and iced matcha milk tea ($ 3.75). Both the green tea and matcha can be ordered «unsweet» or «lightly sweet.» There’s no need to feel guilty about ordering the «lightly sweet» drinks as Yamamotoyama uses organic agave sweetener as a healthier alternative to sugar. With just the right amount of sweetness (not like the syrupy sweet concoctions at boba shops) to balance the thick matcha-​infused liquid, my good-​sized sweetened iced matcha was the perfect drink for a hot day.
This is a one-​woman operation, so it may take some time to procure your drink if other folks are equally thirsty. But don’t let that deter you from green tea nirvana; this barista is super efficient and friendly. Just make sure to bring cash, as there’s a $ 5 minimum for credit/​debit cards!

This is the best place for iced green tea. This little Shop is in the middle of the food court. They sell all sorts of dried teas and premium seaweed. I love getting the iced green tea and milk tea. Both have the right amount of matcha and sweetness, so that neither taste overtakes one another. I could drink this all day. Cheers to an amazing shop!

This little shop carries Iced green tea, iced matcha green tea and iced green milk tea. Who knew?! When you pass this shop, you think they only sell tea pots and tea bags and other trinkets.
What a joy to find this gem who serve the absolutely fresh cold best tasting iced matcha green tea.

The iced green tea is phenomenal.
Unsweetened is good but I also like the slightly sweetened one :)
The matcha milk tea is perfect if you want good matcha but a dessert-​like drink.
It’s good but it’s a little too heavy for me.
So the iced green tea is amazing for me and HEAVENLY !!

MY ONE AND ONLY PLACE FOR MATCHA GREAN TEA MILK! Ahhh, I was so sad to leave Torrance because I would get one every morning. :(I was on vacation visiting with a friend and we came here 7 days in a row, and the drink was consistent every single time.
I’m addicted!

I just started working in Torrance and I am trying to check out new places to drink and dine. My friends and I were hanging out around the area and two of them walked in with a green looking drink… It looked so good and I am a softie for anything green tea.
Environment — located in the Mitsuwa food court surrounded by other food boutique stores. This is a Japanese tea shop where there are fresh matcha leaves and other goodies. Thus, of course, everything ordered here is freshly made to order (I took a class in college about Japanese Teas LOL). There’s so much history in this shop. Check it out before ordering your drink!
There is a nice seating area to the right of the store where you can sit down. Or, you can get a drink and sit in their food court where there are plenty of seats. Of course, it’s a drink so you can always take it to go. haha
Service — nice Japanese ladies :) everyone in Torrance is so nice!
Matcha Green Milk Tea — this drink is perfection. Enough said. If you love green tea like me, you really should get two at a time. I wish I did that. Now I gotta go back!

My goodness! I had their iced green tea and matcha green tea, unsweetened of course. They were both really good and I am a crazy green tea freak! It’s something I would drink everyday if possible!
I never knew until my recent visit that they have Matcha Milk Tea. I decided to try because I saw a guy walking with it and my friend and I was like Matcha Milk Tea is what the guy had. So we decided to try.
My friend and I both fell in LOVE with it. It was perfectly sweetened with organic agave. With that said, it was a perfect 10!!! With just the right amount of agave and crushed ice, it was so good and so my style! We left the premise very happy and went shopping for a few hours and came again 5 minutes before they close (7:30 PM) and got our 2^nd Matcha Milk Tea! My friend who lives in the valley says she WOULD come down to Torrance just for these awesome drink!
