My husband and I ventured out to this quaint town and decided to grab lunch at the Corner Café. We sat down and gave our orders to the waitress, who was very friendly. I was watching the cook prepare our food. She was wearing gloves, which was great. However, I noticed that she opened the cash register and handled cash. She did not change gloves and continued to prepare the food. How different is it wearing gloves and not changing them after handling money from not wearing gloves and not washing your hands? Nasty! We will not be coming back.

All the signs on the front door about what they won’t do for their customers should have been a red flag. They need to add one more — they won’t run debit or credit cards for purchases under $ 10. Welcome to the 90’s. Cute store, great waitress, bitter owner.

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile, so one morning a friend and I stopped in for breakfast. The door was open so I went in, but they said they weren’t really«open» yet. They took our order anyway. For breakfast there were only two egg sandwich choices, which was a little disappointing. The staff was attentive and the coffee was good — our order came fairly quickly. Egg on croissant w sausage isn’t very difficult to mess up, but it wasn’t anything special either. I’ll come back and try lunch some time. For breakfast(and lunch for that matter), I really love The Café, just a few doors down. Oh — wifi wasn’t working and they said they weren’t able to get into the router room to reset it. :/

The vegi wrap was very good and my family likes their sandwiches too. They had a Rueben and a chicken wrap. The waitress was attentive but they forgot one of the sandwiches and we had to eat separately! Otherwise a cute local eatery!

Don’t waste your time. We wasted about a half an hour of our time here and left hungry. It took about fifteen minutes after ordering to get our drinks, then another ten minutes for them to figure out they didn’t have tuna to make the tuna melt I ordered. I’ve eaten here before and knew the service was slow, but the food wasn’t bad. I should have known better than trying this place again. If you have a lot of time on your hands, don’t mind poor service and ok food, then this is the place for you.

We had a great experience for lunch in the café. The ladies working there were really nice and helpful, the menu was creative and the food tasted great. It was a little noisy and the metal chairs were cute but not too comfortable. The overall experience was pretty good.

While traveling through to Estes Park we stopped here for lunch. This place has the worst service ever!!! It took 50 minutes to get 3 sandwiches from the time we placed it. For a place with 12 tables I could not understand what was taking so long. Two sandwiches we ordered were supposed to have avocado on them but it was not on there. We would have sent them back but we did not have another hour to wait. When we told the lady who was the manager she got very nasty and ugly! She snapped back«what do you want me to do about it?» I politely told her I just wanted them to be aware so it could be fixed. She was extremely rude!!! I was not asking for a free meal or to be comped food. We had already paid and I just want to let them know. When I asked to speak to the owner there I was told she did not have time to talk to me. Absolutely unbelievable!!! Don’t stop here!!!

Well I can’t give a full review but we did stop in while waiting for the train to take us back home. Looking for a quick dessert more than anything. First thing that stuck out was the Spaghetti Ice Cream, Yep Spaghetti Ice Cream is what I said. I guess it’s kind of what they are known for and I can see why. It is a lot more simple than you think it might be, but BOY did it hit the spot. What is it you may be asking?: It’s their vanilla ice cream, in the shape of noodles, topped with a wonderful strawberry sauce, they shredded some white chocolate to look like Parm cheese, and then they have these chocolate brownies for the meatballs. Overall two thumbs up. It seemed like a nice little place to grab a quick bite. The only thing you may want to watch out for is the Lemonade, it’s not that it is bad, it’s just not nearly as sweet as you may think about when you think about Lemondae, it is a very tart drink. So like I said not bad, but want to give you a heads up incase you liek the sweet stuff.

We were caught in a thunderstorm and came in just as they were closing. They stayed open just for us and we had wonderful apple pie a la mode with great coffee. They were really nice and concerned that we needed a place out of the rain.

I ordered a breakfast burrito without meat. to go. When I opened it, it was nothing more than soggy white potato mush on a spongy white tortilla. OMG… no salt, pepper, onion, chili… nothing but chunks of nastiness. The funny thing was the lady who took my order was the owner(at least that is what she told us) and was extremly rude to her hired help. She began to ring us up, stopped half way thru, told the gal who was cooking to finish tallying the order and she promptly walked about 2 feet away and began wrapping napkins around the silverware. The gal she was bossing around gave her a very hateful look and I get the feeling my breakfast burrito reflected the cooks feelings toward the owner. I would have gone in to complain but most likely would have been offered a store credit which would have been worthless to me. OH, I did get a pastry that day, and it was okay.

Worst ever! Rude waitress, long wait for food, filthy bathroom, no hand soap in bathroom, grilled cheese sandwich(off the grown up menu) consisted of a slice of Kraft singles on Wonderbread(and cost $ 8.00). Never got drink refills, they only had soda for the kids… they were«all out, sorry» of milk and juice… REALLY!!! To top it off, the waitress was helping the cook and was wearing the same gloves for cooking and taking money! GROSS!!! Save your time and money… this place is the WORST!!!

Great selection of fresh food– small salad bar, sandwiches and yes, GLUTENFREE products! It is slightly high, but it is in the right price range for fresh food. Less than Panera and much tastier. We had the French dip and Gluten free turkey avocado wrap– amazing!

Seriously, stay away from this place. Overpriced, bad service, bad food. The food took forever to come out, and when it came the portions were small and there was nothing to write home about. My Reuben would have been good, but the whole thing just kind of fell apart when I picked it up. My friend ordered their special of the day, Frito Pie. It was literally a pile of chips topped with lettuce, a little bit of cheese, and some green chile(which was extremely bland). No refried beans, sour cream, or salsa as the specials board proclaimed.
