We like to support local businesses so we found this great spot on Unilocal. It is small but that was not a problem. The front has comfy stuffed chairs and a couch, the middle has tables and chairs for diners and the back is a bar! Nice lunch spot and the sandwiches and potato salad were very good. I had the tomato, spinach, red pepper, mozzarella, pesto sandwich — excellent. Lots of veggies and delicious bread. My husband had the chicken promodori(I think that’s how it was spelled!). It, too, was very good. Check it out!

Really cool place, cool people, great food, but it took a long time to get our food. Burgers were made from grass fed buffalo which was pretty awesome and delicious. I would have given 5 stars if it wouldn’t have taken so long.

What a special little treat on the way back to OKC. This coffee shop is spacious and cute and appears in the downtown area of Trinidad. It is sort of healthy because it has organic Izze sparkling fruit drinks. They also have food and coffee and lots of seating including a comfortable couch.

This was a pleasant surprise. Good coffee, good tea, good hot sandwiches. My husband and I both got the half sandwich and soup. We both liked our sandwiches. I got the roast beef and green chile. Yum. I have definitely paid more for less. Give it a try.

Courtney was the star at this sleepy town coffee house. A locals place that snubs there nose at Starbucks and for good reason. When is the last time you went to Starbucks, laughed with the staff and got a hug at the end. A great find for sure. Highly recommend if Courtney is working. ;)

Hard to review. Stopped in later in the afternoon. Slow. Café Mocha. Nice. Ambiance. Not so nice. Mom with her two young children lounging on the chair with the children taking the couch. Nothing wrong there, but they were there for the long haul. Both children had tablets. Loud tablets. One still in pull ups. Mom oblivious. Got soda from behind the bar. Yikes. Ceiling fan full of dust. Eye on detail Not much. Just bad vibe. Sorry to have to leave this review honestly given all good before me. Not trying to pass bad karma.

Juicy burgers are not their thing. Weighty and dense is what I got. Well done to the core.

The only good coffee I found in Trinidad. Also they were super friendly & even made me pancakes, despite the fact that I arrived after the official 11 am breakfast cutoff. A nice little space with regular tables & a little alcove with comfy chairs.

We pulled off the freeway for something«non-chain» and found this gem. I had a white chocolate mocha that was delicious. For lunch I had the chicken tortilla soup and a Purgatory Roast Beef sandwich(roast beef, habañero jack cheese, green chili with a cream cheese green chili spread. Wowzers! So good! It was eight bucks. My mom had the tomato mozzarella sandwich and is in love with it(her’s was seven fifty)! Looking at the menu, they are open breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner ranges from around thirteen to twenty five dollars. We highly recommend this little place!

There are two things that I use to decide if I like a place. Good green Chile & good coffee. This place has both. We are hanging out in Trinidad for a few days & are really pleased to have found this gem. The Green Chile is excellent. I had a smothered burrito that was so good, we went back for a second meal that day! Second trip I had an open faced burger… so good I would definitely have it again. Dodgeton Brewing, a local brewery has 4 taps, I tried 3 and was pleased with them all. The Scotch Ale Wee Heavy is my favorite by far! Don’t be in a hurry when you stop by, small town charm & relaxed service.

Now THIS is the locally-owned, non-franchise, neighborhood coffee shop to check out in Trinidad! Wi-fi provided. Pastries like muffins and danishes are available, as well as a breakfast and lunch menu. It’s located in a delightful historic building on Commercial Street. Go. :) Lose a star: They have strange hours. How can they not be open on a Saturday morning??? Weekdays they open at 8 a. m: No chance to pick something up for those who work normal hours.

What a wonderful find … Thanks Unilocalers! We came across this little coffeehouse in the midst of a 9 hour car ride and couldn’t be happier. There is a casual ambience with plenty of table tops as well as a few leather bound chairs present. The menu offers sandwiches and burgers as well as salads and soups. I had a roast beef sandwich with green chiles and was beyond impressed. My counterpart had a Reuben and was everything a Reuben should be. They do offer a full coffee bar as well as a full alcoholic bar. We tried two local beers in tap, always a quick way to my heart, and they were so so so tasty. This place has all the appeal of a small town shop that is easily accessible from I-25. With great food and great beers it will certainly become a standard visit anytime we stroll through Trinidad. Bottom line: you should stop by if in the area!
