They are too slow in processing the orders. I ordered a soup how long will it take to process a cup of soup. It is ridiculous I had to wait 20 min. The soup and bread are awful tasting. Please train your staff to be more better serving and at least send them for couple of weeks to training to learn from the staff at Valencia Rd Baggins. They do an amazing job with food and service.

The food was awful and poorly prepared. I ordered a vegetarian sandwich. Most of the toppings fell off after with one bite. The cheese didn’t taste quite right, or perhaps it was the combination of too many slices of cheese and overly slathered cream cheese that made me feel ill after leaving. Plus, I’ve had better coffee at gas stations. They ran out of coffee cups and gave me a soda cup instead. The atmosphere was disorienting. The music was loud and distracting. Don’t even think about taking your laptop if you’re trying to get any work done. Also the wifi kept dropping out. On the other hand, the staff was friendly. But next time I’ll go to the Mexican restaurant next door.

Very very disappointed Baggins. Here are pics to prove what I’m about to write. I don’t do baggins often because to pay $ 16.00 for a sandwich, potatoes salad and a tea is s little much for my budget, but since it’s a holiday, I splurged! I ordered an unforgettable, wanted thier delicious bow tie salad but the woman said they were out, so I got potato salad instead. Uck… bad choice. Unfortunately. So, I ordered at 2:05 pm and my food came at 2:55. 50 minutes, well, ok. I was supposed to get a free rum cake with my order, but they didn’t remember to put it in the bag, I also ordered thier yummy spiced tea with no ice. They brought it full of ice. Damittt.. why oh why is my restaurant experience so terrible here in Tucson? Maybe the places I’m going? Hmmmm… the sandwich as you can see for $ 7.99 had One slice of turkey on the one side and two slices on the other side. In my opinion the sandwich was just thrown together, there was one slice of tomato on each half and a burnt half piece of bacon. Really? For $ 7.99, a burnt half piece of bacon on each half? The potatoe salad was way to mustardy, way over salted and had brown potatoes and mushy black olives on it. I’m a fatty, so I usually eat everything! Lol… this potatoe salad was disgusting and after two bites then a third just to make sure it was really as bad as I thought the first two bites. I put the lid on it and I will take to corporate on Monday. That bad. I know workers make very little and it’s a holiday, but with the social media today, don’t restaurant owners want great reviews? This place should monetarily reward thier employees for great reviews. Baggins, well, I can’t say I’ll never go again, but this experience wad indeed UNFORGETTABLE.

Pro: Friendly customer service. Crowded place for lunch. You get a cookie with every order. Cons: Food was just ok. not worth return. Ordered ‘Gourmet grilled cheese’ sandwich. Came on sourdough. Sandwich was nearly cold. Mix of cheeses very bland. Couldn’t distinguish between flavors. Chips plus sandwich plus drink less than $ 10. but so not worth it.

Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed at a Baggin’s before. I went for lunch at exactly 1:09, and was in a rush to get back to my daughter’s performance. I thought, well a sandwich should be quick, right? WRONG! I ordered my sandwich with a very explicit no mayo and no cucumber order. I have an intolerance to mayo, and told that to the cashier. After waiting for what seemed like forever, and it was certainly not a particularly busy day(people that ordered after me got their sandwiches before me, and my sandwich was a veggie sandwich for god sakes) and at 1:41 I finally received my sandwich. I went into my car and since by this point I was starving, I decided to take a bite. What’s the first thing I notice? MAYO. All over the sandwich. So I turned around and went back into Baggins. I told the cashier what happened and she looks at me and responds with a very rude«Are you sure it’s not cream cheese?» I responded saying I was certain I could distinguish between mayo and cream cheese. She then proceeds to ask the makers of the sandwich if they were sure it wasn’t cream cheese. Once they confirmed it was mayo, she looks at me and says«Well I guess you were right» Thanks. So they remade my sandwich and this time it had no cream cheese and some cucumber on it. I didn’t want to wait any longer, so I unhappily took my remade sandwich at 2:02PM. Will never be returning. Can’t believe this happened.

Went in to get lunch was welcomed. That’s where it ended waiting 20 min for my 1 sandwich and it still wasn’t ready. When I asked for a refund no one cared to explain anything to me. If I am paying over 10 dollars for a sandwich and I drink I would expect better service. Will not be returning.

First time here and it was awesome. Billy served us and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. If you aren’t picky and want food fast keep going. This is what a great sandwich place should be, so don’t rush the process!

Ordered 4 sandwiches online with specific and clear orders. Chips were not delivered and it took over 35 minutes to have them delivered. One sandwich was to be toasted and it wasn’t. Same sandwich was to be no onion and it had a lot of onion.

Great great sandwiches!!! Loved this location. Staff was very nice. Greeted everyone who came in. I loved the terrace. Tables had pretty flowers and just invites to spend some time out side I saw a lady with a book reading and eating, a group of students with their books and sandwiches. The ambiance was laid back and since the table areas are big no one seemed rushes to eat and leave. Loved it. And I loved the coupon I for by checking in. A free desert. Thanks Unilocal!!!

Baggins Management, Please read! First of all, I love Baggins. Good food, good price. What I did not like is an employee coming in with Subway & eating it in the dining room. Really? You are going to eat a competitors food in the establishment you are employed with? Another employee made the statement, «you seriously brought Subway to eat?» To which she just giggled and said, yeah I did. Way to represent, Baggins employee. I can understand that you may want for lunch or dinner from somewhere else, but you should not bring a competitors food into the restaurant you are going to be starting your shift with. At least not in the sight of the customers who are watching you eat it In The dining room. I can understand bringing in drinks from other places(i.e. Circle K) because of cost or variety or whatever, but that is kept behind the counter not in view of paying customers. I realize we may have been there in a slow part of the day, but let’s have some common sense. Honey, you did not represent your company very well when you did that. In other news for this visit, I ate my Cookie first and that is the best part. The chicken tortilla soup was amazing with large chicken pieces, green chilis, beans, and topped off with some fresh cilantro. My husband loved his grinder & my gourmet grilled cheese was grilled perfectly. This just added to my confusion as to why someone would work in a restaurant & not utilized the kitchen provided. If employee meals aren’t paid, I can understand. But you just don’t eat another chains food in front of paying customers. I hope management see this post & responds. I can give them better details if they want to seek me out. I would have posted 3 stars but it was too low because the food deserves the 5 stars. So I compromised with 4 stars all because of this one employees actions.

Great sandwiches. The best is the Albuquerque Turkey is my favorite — so, so good! The service at this location is too notch and super accommodating. They always make sure to separate my hot sandwich from any cold goodies — like their cookies or carrot cake. Check in on Unilocal and get a free desert! It’s why I always come to this location over the others!

Sinking Feeling So. let’s just start with I’m a fan, I go there all the time, and our Rotary group on field trips orders Baggins to go. That being said, I met the owner, John at Roosevelt Lake Marina on Memorial Day 2013 and found that he had just bought his kids jet skis off of Craig’s List. Good to see that we are frugal with all that chip money. When John put the jet skis in the water, nobody explained to him that they had drainage plugs that he had to close prior to putting them in the water. So – what happened? He sunk his kids jet skis. Now I promised John I wouldn’t put this on Unilocal – but it was late, and it was more of a thought than a promise. One good note, the salad I had today was so good, light and yummy, I won’t be sinking. It was the Asian chicken salad. I say thank you John for a good story and lots of laughter. Nice to know that a prospering business is being run by a good man with a nice family!

Quality and service prove that value can be found at any price. Ordered delivery which was very quick always a plus. Had what they call an «almost reuben» which isn’t almost anything the real whole deal. Their spinoff is replacing sauerkraut with coleslaw(yes, gasp if you’re a purist but once you regain breath do order this one for sure). Coleslaw was fresh corned beef was juicy and the rye was fresh and grilled right. But I do have my gripes: price and size. One of the reasons I suspect it’s called an «almost» reuben is that it almost filled me. Definitely had bigger at similar or lesser prices elsewhere(a sandwich here will run you eight bucks after tax). But like I said it’s great quality and I’ll gladly pay it again, but maybe for lunch not dinner.

I have been a fan of Baggin’s for years and although I have tried a few of the other sandwiches for the most part I always stick to the Unforgettable. Yes the bread is on the soft side but the combo of cream cheese, avocado, turkey, bacon and sprouts is delicious! I recently ordered this for lunch along with the bowtie chicken salad and spice tea. Sadly the prices have gone up which is a bummer but also the chicken salad had way too much mayo and there was no free cookie :(Of course I can understand the increased charges but not the decreased quality. Hopefully this was a fluke and I’ll definitely have the sandwich and tea again soon.

My only complaint is that baggins isn’t open long enough for my late night sandwhich cravings(but you’r forgiven). My favorite sandwhich is the baggin’s veggies. There are a variety of crunch fresh veggies pared with delicious american cheese and cream cheese. It takes the typical veggie sandwich above and beyond. The unforgettable is similarly great if you need a some meat to round out a sandwich. Every once and awhile, I’ll get the sundown(cornbread stuffing on a sandwich!!!). It’s basically Thanksgiving all rolled up into one delicious hand-held sub. As far as sides go, I always get the chinese sesame pasta salad. It’s so simple but yet addictively flavorful.

I love baggins! Such a perfect lunch place! They are always friendly and super speedy for custom sandwiches. I love the hop chicken and the unforgettable baggins. I also love that each sandwich is served with a delicious cookie for dessert. The only reason this location isn’t getting 5 stars is that they don’t do the delicious hot panini that I am addicted to.

So I walk in… and there were two other customers sitting down eating and I waited for a good 7 minutes before a cashier assisted me — I went around the back to find them talking and gossiping — meanwhile I’m starving, lol! Once they assisted me, my order was taken… and I think by my demeanor the cashier new I wasn’t too happy with the service… the best thing about the experience was she gave me a complementary sandwich.

Have had lunch delivered from here a few times in the past weeks and though they’re menu on Campbell is quite limited everyone in my office has a favorite– mine is their chicken salad, specifically the Rojo Chicken Sandwich, yum, yum, yum! The cookie is a nice touch at the end too. My only complaint is that delivery is only 11 – 2 I believe, and even if we order right before 11am there’s at least a 45 minute delivery wait, sometimes more and they’re never early and we’re only two blocks down from them on Campbell. I attempted to go in person and it was jam packed(good for them, tough for being in a hurry) and took almost the full 45 min to get the sandwiches back to the office anyway! Could probably do with a little more staff or maybe a dedicated phone person?

Although the ingredients are very fresh, you don’t get enough Sandwich to actually get full & for the price, it’s a rip off. I like these guys, I do, but come on, we’re hungry, give us more food!
