My Mom and I just started this last week. So far, we’re both really enjoying it. The owner(Theresa) is super nice, the gym is über clean, and I really like the concept. While you can join LA Fitness or other clubs for about the same price, I like that as long as I can get myself there(challenge #1: getting to the gym! ;-)), I can just come in and turn my brain off. There’s a little electronic flash drive fob that keeps you honest, machine by machine — like your own virtual trainer — without any embarrassment — just you. Are you working hard enough(for you)? Or half-assing it and calling it in? You know. And it shows you with red, yellow and green lights. It tracks your progress, your commitment ;-) your effort — and is easy. Get on, do the circuit — maybe two or three times — and you’re out of there. Efficient. I wouldn’t say fun ;-) but not bad. I like the Jillian Michaels(Biggest Loser) connection. She gets it and is the perfect face/spirit/motivator/education for this brand/franchise. Nice little stretching machine at the end — and mats in between to encourage you to remember to stretch — a video going to keep you moving and stretching all along. All good. Works the whole body. And cardio. Nice. Mom and I are at different levels — both rehabbing from different issues — and we’re coming home just sore enough to know you’re working hard enough — but not so sore that if affects your life(like Boot Camp ;-) when you can’t sit down or get up! :-) LOL! ;-) Excited to stick with it. ;-) Glad it’s something my Mom and I can do together(1st time ever! ;-)
