I will not be coming back to this location. They messed up my order yesterday and charged me for chicken and didn’t put it in my quesadilla. My wife called and they said they would give a coupon for it. The coupon was spend $ 15, get $ 5 off. So I had to return twice and pay $ 32 to get five dollars off. I was charged twice for i the chicken. The girl was on her phone with her boyfriend, came over to ring me up with the coupon and sat down to look at her phone with her boyfriend. Just poor service.

The prices are decent and the food is tasty. I ordered the chicken enchiladas plate, which comes with Spanish rice and black beans.

This place is one of my go to places if I’m too tired to cook. The food is always fresh since they make it to order. My favorite is the baja fish burrito. The baja sauce is sooo creamy and delicious. My fiancé will typically get the grande burrito or the steak fajitas. Both are great choices and the fajitas come with guacamole. The prices are reasonable and they have a great salsa bar.

I have always been a fan of la salsa since I was a kid. Although it is harder to find a location now that many of them have shut down, I still enjoy stopping in every once and a while. My favorite menu items are the nachos with grilled chicken(enough to share, or save half for later!) and there is also a combo item that has taquitos and quesadilla which comes with chips, beans and rice. Also enough to share! The salsa bar is great, I prefer the mango salsa, or to mix some of the smokey salsas with the habanero for an extra kick. They used to have beers, but at this location that is no longer an option, really bummed about that!

This place was great and fast. Good size burritos that won’t make you wish you ordered more.

I eat here far more often than I probably should, but it’s hard to stay away from such a great combination of quality and value. It’s delicious, fresh, prompt, and all without emptying my wallet. Pro tip: Go to and join their Salsa Club. They will keep you stocked with coupons that you can bring with you on every visit. «$ 5 off $ 15» and«$ 2 off $ 8» are common.

Love La Salsa! Best fast food and I’m not a Mexican food fan. I call it She-She Mexican(in a good way). Best Baja shrimp tacos anywhere and the chili lime salad with chicken is fab! Very fresh food and always friendly helpful staff. They do a great job. This is a quick stop before a movie easy lunch or dinner or take out. Way better than Chipotle.

La Salsa: where speed and delicious meet healthy & fresh at a reasonable price(if you don’t get too crazy!). Call it in or not, take it out or eat it there, the food is quality, the service is sound and the salsa is always a treat. More seasonal offerings would be nice, and would a Salsa of the Month be too much to ask for my friends?

Great food made to order, fresh ingredients many choices of meats including beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, and mahi mahi, along with a fresh salsa bar containing many varieties of fresh salsas and toppings. Though it only appears on La Salsa’s to go(carry out) menus we really love their Vera Cruz fish buritto(rice, cabbage, mahi mahi, fresh avocado, pico, and add lettuce and lime juice, –minus cheese and pablano crema which we prefer the vera cruz burrito without).

Pretty decent chain Mexican. As the name would suggest, the fresh salsas are really good. Everything seems fresh and clean.

Great place to grab a quick Mexican lunch or dinner when you don’t really feel like going out. Similar to Rubio’s, it’s a long way from the best Mexican in the price range, but I’ve never been disappointed, and I’m sure I will be back many times while I’m living in Tucson.

I got a steak burrito and I thought I was going to have to declare bankruptcy because it was $ 9.70 after tax. I know that isn’t all that much money for a good burrito, but I thought this place was more like Chipotle or something. That said, however, it really was a fantastic burrito.

Food — I went with the Cancun Shrimp taco and oh man, the unique thing was that the salsa used mango as part of the recipe, something I’ve never seen before. Overall it was a decent taco, but if you don’t use some sort of extra sauce, it does lack a bit of flavor you’d expect from something with Cancun in it. Price — about 10 bucks for a drink and a taco, not too bad I guess. Overall — Nice location, close to the Sheraton I was staying in. Clean interior and nice seating area right outside for those that wants to be in the sun.

You know, for fast Mexican food, I really dug this place! I devoured the chicken quesadilla, which was stuffed with delicious rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, and cheese. Yummy! I couldn’t finish the entire meal because it was simply too much for my bird-like stomach. Also, my mom had the taco salad and from what I could tell of her empty plate, she enjoyed her meal as well. Coming from Denver, a Chipotle happy city for obvious reasons, I was pleasantly surprised how much La Salsa brought to the table. Great food and enormous portions at a decent price. If La Salsa came to Denver, I’d probably stop here more often than at Chipotle.

Heading out of Tucson on Sunday afternoon, we wanted to grab some food before we headed back up to Phoenix. We weren’t really wanting any kind of fast food, but we wanted something quick. My passenger informed me that there was a La Salsa coming up on the right, and I quickly pulled in to the parking lot. We used to have La Salsa up in Phoenix, but it was rudely and abruptly taken over by a nasty chain called Taco del Mar. So the only times that I get to eat at La Salsa anymore is when I go to Coronado, CA every August. Well, it is a long time between August’s, approximately 365 days… so given the chance to get my La Salsa on sooner than that, I was sold. La Salsa is like a Baja Fresh, but it is just so much better! Everything is so fresh and they have a whole array of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas with fillings of chicken, steak, fish or shrimp. Their avocado cream salsa is perfect with the chips, as is any of the other 7 salsas or so that they offer. I dream about the day that they will come back up to Phoenix… but until then… I wait until August!

Yes, La Salsa is a chain, but who cares? The food is fresh and tastes great. I have tried many different menu items and can’t find one I don’t like. The employees are friendly and the establishments are clean in all of the locations I have tried. The cherry on top is the salsa bar. No funny looks when you take too much salsa to go.

La Salsa is a chain. It differs from Chipotle’s(the MacDonald’s-owned Mexican chain) principally in its self-serve salsa bar and the free chips provided with your meal. The variety of self-serve salsas is impressive and some are tasty. The carrot escabeche is pretty good. However, the entrees that I’ve had at different La Salsa’s(mainly burritos) were consistently awful. Poor quality from meat to sour cream to beans. Particularly in a city of more than 400 Mexican food establishments, many of which are run by Mexican-Americans preparing the real thing, there is little reason to go to La Salsa. I even prefer Chipotle’s.

La Salsa is pretty darn good. I’ve been to the one in Vegas a few times, but never the one in Tucson until a few months ago. And I’ve been back a couple of times since. The best menu item I’ve had here are the fish tacos. They’re really good. The rice is pretty tasty as well, and of course they have tons of chips and salsa readily at your disposal. They have a salsa bar too, which is always nice because you can concoct the spiciness of your salsa to your liking. The prices are pretty cheap, so you can come here when you’re low on funds and still get a good meal. I don’t know of any La Salsa’s by me unfortunately, but when I’m in Tucson and want a cheap, quick and tasty Mexican meal, I come here!
