Portions are small, prices are high, and the flavor is so-so. Good«American style» Chinese is strangely hard to find in this area, but you can definitely do better than this.

Tried it out and enjoyed certain aspects of the food. I think the chicken could be a lot more fresh and flavorful. Maybe even a little more crispy. It was still very good! The crab rangoon was phenomenal! They definitely need to work on customer service. Every time I go there the person is always in the back room talking. I wish I could give it a 3 and a half. But not able too. Also, the bar connected to it always has music blasted so it makes it hard if you want to sit down and enjoy your meal. For a chinese place; not bad. For that area, yeah I recommend.

I’ve been coming here for 10 years and have not one complaint. Yes, the location is sketchy but the food is great. The staff is friendly, have never messed up an order, and I’ve never been sick from eating here. My favorites are the shrimp fried rice, almond chicken, garlic shrimp, chow mein, deep fried shrimp, bbq pork, and the three ingredients. I’ve been given a VERY decent amount every time I’ve ordered from here. Definitely think the portions are good for the price. I’m always stuffed half way through the meals with some left over for the next day, so not too sure what all this is about the small portions. I wouldn’t recommend buying from the individual dinners, lunch specials, or any of that. The fried rice given with it IS bland. It is not cooked the same way that the order of the fried rice itself is made. I always order to go because there are a lot of weird people who hang around here, which has nothing to do with the restaurant itself. The whole area is pretty sketchy. I’d say definitely give this place a shot, just remember not to buy any of the dinner or lunch specials. The individual plates are the best tasting. I’d recommend buying two and sharing with someone or eating the rest the next day!

So, I am a Chinese food enthusiast. I decided that I would try China Pavillion, which is near my office. Many of the reviews are quiet accurate. The place is nothing to write home to mother amount. I arrived at about noon and there were a number of people sitting the dining room. The staff was quick and efficient. I ordered General Tso Chicken lunch special. The special comes with fried rice, and appetizer. The chicken appeared to be perfectly fried, but then ruined by the excessively watery sauce. The sauce, while watery, was tasty, easily a 6⁄10. The fried rice that accompanied the dish was extremely bland. The appetizer, ½ an egg roll and a fried wonton wrapper(?). While the food was edible, I don’t think I’ll be visiting this establishment again.

I’ve ordered from this fantastic restaurant for twenty two years and it is consistently excellent and wondertful. I only ate at the restuarant once and that experience was soso. I do not frequent bars so no help there. Take out is OMG!

They are way too expensive for how bland the food was! Staff isn’t friendly. Bar looked kinda fun, but I declined to go in to that side.

Don’t even bother. The wait staff are unpleasant, the food was garbage — I wouldn’t even classify it as Chinese. They only stay open because of the bar. They kept asking us if we wanted«drinks». It’s in a fairly run-down, just north of the airport, strangely Islamic neighborhood.

When I lived in Seattle I would love to go to this place and get the House Special Chow Mein because it is delicious, and it is the best item on the menu. The House Special Fried Rice isn’t bad either, but the Chow Mein is the best. It is about $ 9.00, but you can add $ 2 of shrimp or $ 2 of pork or $ 2 of beef, etc. Now this place isn’t about atmosphere, and it’s in a rough section of Pacific Highway in Tukwila. In fact this is almost ground zero where the prostituion occured in the 1980s. But the Asian lady«Lucy» is pretty nice. The waitresses aren’t especially friendly either. But this place isn’t the institutional type of Chinese place. I believe they make everything by hand. Take my advice and get the House Speical Chow Mein – or just get an order to go. I’m going to try and upload a couple pictures of the place and the food.

First I’ve been coming here for years. This place has some of the best chinese food you can get this side of the Pacific Ocean. The price is more than reasonable for $ 6 dollars you get the lunch special for an extra 6 you can take home dinner too! The first thing you notice with the dishes is that they use real chicken and beef. Not processed fried chicken parts, actual cut chick breasts. The chow mein is a favorite of the locals but personally I think you can’t get any better fried rice then this place. The portions are large enough to keep you full but not so big that you are spending 10 dollars for lunch. A+ for service!

I gave this place a single star because the wait staff was pleasant and the best I can do for this joint. I should’ve walked right out when I saw the place completely empty. But we sat down and were quickly served the world’s SMALLEST and MOSTEXPENSIVE portions of food ever served at a chinese restaurant. We left hungry and seriously broke. All five of us. It was awful.

WOW… this place has gotten strange… use to come here a few years back for some drinks after work. always strong, and cheap… But now the place has changed… i have not been in the restaurant, which always seems bare when i enter. Head to the bar though, and you will meet some strange interesting people. after 8 pm, you will get thugs, dealers, and some dancers from the strip joint next door. this makes for great people watching… though be careful what you say or do. it seems your actions are being watched. still good drinks… a star and being divey… a star so if your waiting to pick someone up at seatac… and there flight has been delayed… and you have time. stop in… its an adventure

A crappy looking dig but some good eating awaits you here. I always go for the Chow Mein because it’s hard for me to find some good Chow Mein anywhere else. There’s one waitress I always see and she’s quite charming even though her English is kind of crappy. Hmmm… Kind of like the Restaraunt interior.
