Love & Care Pet Salon

I have been fortunate to have known Lisa at love & care for the last 10 years. She always went out of her way to accommodate my 2 dogs and bent over backwards for my special needs dog Buddy. All 3 of us are broken hearted over her untimely death, but because of her we will continue to patronize Love & Care.

I was scheduled in at last minute on Saturday due to a cancelation. I love the care they took for my Yorkie and the puppy haircut is awesome! If I was going to stay in Seattle, I would definitely return to this spot.

The groomer here did a great job for a great price with my poodle terrier mix today. We stood with her for most of his cut and she’s was very nice with him, you can tell that both of the employees there like dogs. My dog Barry Allen came out looking and smelling great, give this place a shot if you’re in the area

I’ve been going here at least 15 years, on the third dog now. I have AWAYS been happy with the results. The price is very reasonable compared to the competition and my dogs always come out looking & smelling great. They really listen to what YOU want. The clincher is that we sometimes run into Lisa around town, and my dog greets her like a long-​lost relative. So I don’t have to worry about what kind of treatment he may be getting when I’m not around — he loves his Love & Care groomer.

Ive been going here for years every poodle i get has been to visit brenda she a expert experience groomer and always try and find you an appointment that fits you .i remember this lady waitting after hours for me to come get my dog. She goes over and above and a great price for the excellent job i love her

I have been taking my Havamalt (Havanese, Maltese) for 3 years now. I was given a recommendation by my dogs Veterinarian because Nintendo kept getting chronic ear infections and this place really makes sure the hair inside the ears are trimmed.
Lisa makes sure that he doesn’t come out looking like a poodle, This breed has the worst of both type of hair.(course and curly) Nintendo loves Lisa and he always looks happy and so cute when I pick him up. His ear infections have decreased since I have been coming here. This place is awesome!

I didn’t know this place was still around otherwise I would have gone back sooner, I just kind of forgot about it over the years. Then I wondered, is that place still there? And it was! Anyway, they do a great job there, better than anywhere else I have gone (MANY) and are more reasonable as well. My cat got a lion cut and there were no scrapes and it was all nice and even. They are smart and get the cats done quickly before they get too whipped up. I feel like they do care about the pets. I will never go anywhere else now that I have gone back!

I was hesitant to make an appointment when I saw this place. I just had to see what my fellow Unilocalers thought about it. Kinda disappointed that there was only 1 review. However, Catrina’s review below convinced to go ahead and make an appointment because I’m VERY picky as well.
I called and had to leave a message. Brenda called me back the next day and we discussed pricing and drop off/​pick up times. She was very sweet and answered all my questions. My dog is a Maltese/​Yorkie and unlike Catrina, he consistently gets bad haircuts (except when we live in Arizona, we found an awesome groomer!). Anyway, I came into this with no expectation of anything good. The first time I go to the groomers for Teddy, I’ve never gotten what I wanted… so of course, I expected the same here.
I showed up for Teddy’s appointment and again was hesitant about where I was dropping him off. The salon was located behind the vet clinic and it looked super shady! I went in and spoke to Brenda… she spent SOOO much time with me trying to understand what kind of cut I wanted and what I didn’t want. I, again, told her that I didn’t expect it to be perfect the first time as I’ve never been happy with his initial cut anytime I change groomers. I also asked her if it were okay for my niece who would be picking up Teddy to take a pic of him and send it to me before they left. Brenda didn’t take offense to this and said it was perfectly OK. Again, she’s very sweet.
HOLY CRAP was I surprised when I got the picture. He looked… soooooo cute!!! I was SOOOOO happy!!! I am definitely make Love & Care Pet Salon Teddy’s new groomer… and Brenda is definitely the groomer of my choice. I’m considering making their vet clinic my primary vet too… It also helps that I live 2 minutes from here. :) The salon has a huge sign on Military Rd but I honestly didn’t notice it until recently and I’ve lived here at this house for 2+ years. Maybe they just need a big dog on their sign to get people’s attn! :)

I’ve been to 5 different groomers and this is the best! It’s a small business but their employees are highly skilled groomers, not like some places where they hire people with no experience or interest in pets. My Bichon/​Maltese consistently gets great haircuts… and I’m VERY picky. They are also very reasonably priced with personal and friendly service. Highly recommended.
