Eh. They only had one pillow that I wanted in stock. Helpfully, they offered to have another ordered online and shipped for free, but I wouldn’t be able to pay with a gift card. Apparently this is an archaic corporate policy and I’d highly recommend an upgrade! I left with just the one pillow.

Very trendy home décor store. TONS of product. Like… almost too much. It’s so hard to walk around in the store without being terrified you are going to knock something over. Great place to find housewarming, birthday, or Christmas gifts. I love all their outdoor entertainment items; such as tiki lights, chairs, kitchenware, and windchimes. Decent prices, sometimes running on the high end. Check out the perimeter of the store, there are random clearance spots on the walls that are not noticeable unless you are looking for them. The main thing I did not like about this store is how many employees approached us in the less than 10 minutes we were in the store. They all say the exact same thing; don’t be so scripted! We probably had 5 employees approach us. Also, they are big into trying to upsell — so beware when you are at the cash register they will push as hard as they can to get you to buy something else.

I am not a fan of multiples of art prints, or statues. They really have not updated their POV to reflect the current trends. I guess this works for some. They had a few Buddha’s that were nice. Their scented candles seemed a okay quality.

The most helpful and friendly staff members I have ever met. We were looking for a set of coach and table. They helped us find out all sizes, shapes, and prices. When we showed our interests in paintings, the staff gave us some very useful advice. Plus, the manager definitely was a pro at home and store design.

I love Pier 1 Imports products, they always have exactly what I need and more. But… I can’t get over how overpriced everything always is. I just can’t stomach spending 200 dollars for a mirror when I can find one just as good at Homegoods for half the price. They often have sales however, with a 20 percent max discount that’s kind of ridiculous. I think I will be taking my business more frequently to Home Goods or Cost Plus.

Really nice assortment of items here, very cute things for the home. On the pricier side but you will find some really cute stylish home items with cute vibrant colors to basic and simple. Good quality and very helpful staff! Clean too. watch your little one, very fragile things in here!

I love Pier 1. I called this store looking for some unique wedding favors that I needed them to put on hold. The staff was great and able to find exactly the amount I needed & put them on hold for me to come buy. The only issue I had was one of the items was clearly damaged(it had been stained with another item & turned it green). But they still had it in the reserved pile for me and didn’t tell me. Thankfully, I pay attention and was able to remove that from the purchase. But that should’ve been noted & not even be able to purchase for being so obviously defective.

What can I say? I like Pier 1 Imports. They have a huge variety of items — everything from décor to dishes to jewelry. This particular location has friendly staff and a customer-friendly layout. They also have tons of clearance items in good shape, which is a huge bonus! This is a GREAT place to buy decorations during the holidays because they have some really cute stuff. Lots of options for gifts as well. Some of the stuff is a little pricey, but it’s all pretty cool to look at(and imagine myself buying!).

Shut up and so what? I like this place. Is it top quality? No. Is it a chain? Yes. Is it impersonal and somewhat phony? Yes. Do they use under age ferrets and marmots to assemble their wicker furniture«rodent-slave labor as seen on 60 minutes» Probably. But I like the jet black furniture and the mirror finished furniture and the smell of Cordoba and cinnamon sticks floating in the air like cottonwood pods on a windy summer day. I like Mandarin orange candles and the asparagus colored lounge chair. I rejoice to the brightly colored pillows, dancing across the back wall like the multi colored tartan checkers of a court jester’s leggings. I thrill to the terra cotta pots, the elephant handled cutlery, stanchions of brass and and copper, balsa carved statuary and filigreed table runners in summer colors. Mystical God-like figurines from far off ports, stare across the store to the pot metal models of airplanes and hap hazard sail boats laughably lacking any real detail sitting atop softwood dressers with oil rubbed bronze pulls. I like this place. So just shut up!

So its not the most amazing place for décor on the block… but its still got some good stuff for some good prices… I picked up serving bowls and a table centerpiece here for under $ 100 plus napkins! So yeah you’re hosting a party and just need some quick décor or serviceware? Your mother’s coming to your apartment and you want to look less like a bachelor? Your sister’s hosting a baby shower and has asked you to provide some decorative light on the matter? Pier 1 will not let you down. Associates are simply nuts at thsi location though… got asked if I’d been helped 3 times BYTHESAMEASSOCIATE last time i was there… I was like lady… you’ve talked to me already, leave me alone! other than that it works.

I don’t care what anyone says, I bought a cool media center, coffee table, and lamp pedestal here. I may buy more stuff from this place, and if I do I hope the Pier One haters heads explode. Fuck Ikea. Zipzap Zubidy Bop!
