Billy Sims Bbq Store

We are super Billy Sims fans. The ribs are always great and I love the green beans. The employees at this location are always very friendly. I definetly ranks above Rib Crib and Dickey’s. I like Albert G’s, but Billy Sims is my go to for BBQ for sure. The sauces are tasty and the food is always consistent.

Pretty okay for OK! I was a bit under impressed with their SIDEliners selection, too bland IMO. Don’t get me wrong the chopped chicken sandwich was good and should satisfy your hunger but it’s just your typical BBQ restaurant. I’d go back and get the BBQ chicken salad!

First time in this location and second time at a Billy Sims. The facility was nice and clean, looked pretty new too. Ordered the Heisman sandwich. It was awesome. Several kinds of meat on a bun with some pickles, peppers and onions. Not being the biggest football fan, or from Oklahoma originally I had no idea who Billy Sims was. His BBQ though is A-​OK with me.

This place got a face lift! It’s all new and much bigger than the old location. The food has stayed the same smokey and delicious quality as before. One thing that threw me off, is I accidentally wandered in through the gift shop instead of the restaurant, which is attached. Not a big deal, but this could put you in line ahead of other people who have been patiently waiting. Other than this odd layout, everything else is spot on. The new location is bigger, brighter and seems more inviting. It is also more visible from the road. I usually go in for the schooner salad, which is a delicious blend of BBQ turkey, roasted corn on the cob, red onion, salad and BBQ Ranch dressing. The prices are steep, but that is BBQ. It takes a lot of prep and time to create scrumptious Q, so we have to pay for that time and attention to detail, and I’m cool with that.

Decided to check out the new Billy Sims location in the Farm shopping center. Was pretty disappointed with my experience… The guy at the counter clearly didn’t want to be there. He didn’t greet anyone that walked in. In fact, he just stared at me until I asked if I could order. I got my order to go and specifically asked for pickles, onions, and peppers even though it was supposed to come with the meal anyways. I spent $ 15 on lunch… Didn’t get what I asked for and got terrible service to top it off. Luckily the BBQ and sides themselves were decent but there are definitely better places in town.

This is one of my favorite BBQ places. I enjoy the Heisman sandwich. I get mine with chopped brisket, and I love getting a little bologna with the sandwich. I get mine with half hot and mild bbq sauce.
