On A Whim

There is nothing worse to me than walking into a store ready to spend a bunch of money and all three employees, including the manager, all look at you and don’t say a word. I walked around the entire store and not one of them said a word. I am giving them two stars only because they do have cute stuff and the employees at the Peoria store have always been nice to me. I would like to point out though that The Perfect Touch, across the street, always has cute stuff as well and the employees are friendly.

Pros: I searched all over Anthropologie for the right gift for my fiancés secretary and his travel coordinator. I met both ladies once last year, but knew nothing about them. Nothing at Anthropolpgie (my go to store) felt right. Stumbled upon this place while grocery shopping at my local Whole Foods. What a cute store. I had lots of options to choose from: candles from Toca, Kate Spade water bottles, cookies, pictures frames, etc. Decided to get some holiday candles from Nest. Loved the scent. The sales girl was extra helpful. Plus, she even helped me with another problem is given up on. I have a monogrammed John Hart bag. Planning to change my name when I get married and wanted bag re-​monogrammed. Contacted the company, but they never responded. The salesgirl at On A Whim told me that I can bring the bag in after January 5^th and they’ll send it in for me. I just have to pay a nominal fee and shipping. Awesome!!! Plenty of parking. Complimentary gift wrapping.
Cons: nothing I can think of.
