Friendly, helpful staff. A nice place to come when you are in the middle of a project and don’t want to spend an hour wandering around the big box store, wondering if you are making the right decisions and trying to find someone to help you.
Price are a little higher, they didn’t carry the kind of paint we wanted, and their hours are not convenient (closing at 6pm during the week, really?) but overall a very nice store.

This True Value is a frequent source of home repair tools and products for me. The two great things it has going for it are friendly and helpful staff members always willing to help me find stuff, and a neighborhood location closet o my home. You will likely find better prices at a big box retailer, but good luck getting knowledgeable service at those place. mind you I do shop the big box places for large items, I love stopping at the True Value when I need small stuff quick like nails, screws, caulk, extension cord, etc.
