Ive been here twice now and the first experiment was a 4 star, this time it was a 5 star. Their breakfast was outstanding! On the plus they give you what you pay for! Food! Food! Food! And Flavor! We found our new breakfast eatery and I’m stunned it’s not bigger and crowed to all hell…

Ultimate foodgasm in my mouth sums up this place. Our entourage agrees. Everything from the mac and cheese to the sandwhich did not disappoint. The Mac & Cheese was drool worthy with it’s cheeseiness to the ham and the macaroni shells they use. The turkey stuffing side to the Mac & Cheese was yummy with a treat of tukey bits. Garlic fries was awesome as well, but loved the Sweet Potatoe Fries more. The house made honey mustard is a touch of heaven on the the Mo Better Ham & Cheddar Sandwhich. The melted cheese and honey baked ham were on point. The Cranberry side and Yam Soufflé was the perfect side combination. Went here after knowing they only have two locaions in So. Cal. that serve café food style. Brian and Michael were absolutely awesome with their patience and service. This place is a must go to when in So. Cal., I would absolutely love it if the café would open up in the Bay Area. Before I forget, special recognition goes to the tasty momosa and the fried pickle on the side that would be an awesome addition to any sandwhich. Let the food coma begin…

Been here twice now, and the food is really good. The first time I went, I had the Monte Cristo. It was good, but my biggest gripe was just how greasy it was. Flavor was rich and great, just a tad too greasy. Today, I had the California gobbler sandwich on a croissant. Omg I loved it. The turkey was thick and had that famous honey baked sweetness. Of the two sandwiches, I’d pick this one over the Monte Cristo. I had both with fresh fruit. I haven’t tried the other sides yet, as tempting as they are. Given how rich and heavy the main entrees are, I try to balance it out with something healthy! Oh, and their green tea(sweetened) is also something to try! I would totally recommend this to anyone for a tasty lunch. The prices are reasonable, the portions are nice, the flavors are flavorful, and the service is friendly.

Great food and even the plating was done with flair. Waitress was really sweet — and our food came out fast. What more do you want from a Saturday brunch?

After seeing my posts about my orders being incorrect, management contacted me to apologize. This time my order was correct and the food is still delicious. I appreciate them contacting me to make it right. Next time I go, I’ll try this elusive creamed corn that everyone says is tasty. Entrees tried: ribs, the sourdough melt burger, pork chops, Monte cristo. All of these were pretty delicious except the pork chops. Was not a fan of those at all, Sides tried: Fries, spinach, sweet potatoes, cheesy potatoes, baked beans The spinach is my favorite. It’s creamy and not too salty. It also reheats well. The sweet potatoes are nice, it’s more of a casserolle type deal with crunchy bits in it(what I prefer) Baked beans are a little sweet for my taste. The corn bread is definitely a sweet corn bread.

Came here with a friend who lived in Ontario. We came fairly early on a weekend morning(I think shortly after opening), and were the first/only ones there. We ate at the café side and I liked that the menus were on wooden planks/slabs. The service was friendly and the menu quite extensive. Food is great and portions are generous. I have always loved Honeybaked’s food, and eating here made me miss the days when they still had the Honeybaked Café in Tustin(store is still there, but café has been gone for years)!

OMG… My favorite breakfast spot, the best country fried steak ever! So far ive tried a few different things(which were all good) those lil ham croquets that come on the breakfast plates tho! but i always come back to the CFS and eggs. Way better than corkys or dennys, more food, better quality and a lil cheaper. You wont be dissapointed, they close early and arent open sundays. Awesome food, good service.

WOW, our first time here, but it won’t be our last. We came from Hemet, which is a one hour drive, but it was well worth it. My wife Judy had been told about the place from our S-I-L, which comes from Lake Arrowhead to here about the place. The food was Fantastic and our waitress Marcie was also Fantastic, we also had brought Great Friends with us who also Love the Food and People!!! We also meant the Manager Jason, between Marcie and Jason they made us feel like we were the Owners!!! Well in closing, I would like to say, I feel the Food was Great, the services was Fantastic and it was priced Right!!! MARCIE and JASON we are looking forward to seeing you the next time and bringing more people with us, the word is getting around about you guys!!!

I had the Monte Cristo and cheesy potatoes and my friends had the Tri tip Ortega sandwich! Both were excellent. That was my first time there, I will definitely go back. It’s a small place with about 6 booths and about four tables. The staff was nice and friendly, country home feel to it. We were there on a Friday at 12:30pm, we only waited about 15 – 20 mins. Worth the wait!

Wonderful little café! The food is delicious and the ambiance is great. Everything is clean and you can tell that it has been thoughtfully put together. Our waiter Michael was nice enough but some of his comments seemed a bit unprofessional and rude. Particularly regarding our speed of eating. Not to mention he could he could be heard yelling at a fellow employee in the kitchen. Donna was a real sweetheart!

This place is awesome. The menu is huge and the food super tasty. We went for lunch and it was busy, but not completely full. I was surprised to find out that they had a full menu of items versus just the sandwiches you can normally order at the counter. it took a while to pick something because there were so many choices! I ended up going with the pretzel melt, which was a trip tip sandwich on a pretzel roll with cheese. It was really good, but a little dry until I asked for some horseradish sauce to put on it! My lunch buddy had a Monte Cristo and she enjoyed it. We were bummed that they were out of the yam soufflé and so I got sweet potato fries and my friend got Parmesan garlic fries and they do not skimp on the fries. We couldn’t even finish them! Overall, everything from food to friendliness of our server was great. The only negative was it took FOREVER to get our food. It was about fifteen minutes after we ordered that we were told they were out of the yam soufflé so they were just then working on our order which seemed weird. Then it took another five+ minutes for the food to come out. Between the drive there and the long wait for food, we had a good two hour lunch that day! YIKES! BUT, that said, I’m totally going back. In fact, I wish I could go back right now! Definitely recommend. Prices are decent, staff is friendly, and food is tasty.

If all you think of is a big ol’ ham when you think of this place, you’re sadly mistaken(and even if you did, the ham they sell here tastes GREAT!). My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. I ordered the BBQ Smokehouse Burger with a side order of garlic parmesan fries while my wife ordered the Pretzel Melt Sandwich with a side of Mac N Cheese Bits. We split each order in half so we could sample a little bit of everything ordered. The burger patty was thick, the«crispy hay stack onions»(think onion rings but stringy) were neatly piled high and there was just enough BBQ sauce to give the burger a «wet»(but not soggy) feel. The burger was simply amazing, and what you’d come to expect from a high end pub. The garlic parmesan fries weren’t overly seasoned to have a overwhelming garlic or parmesan flavor, just enough to delicately season them(and make them still perfect for dipping in ketchup). The Pretzel Melt sandwich was equally tasty(though I separated the hay stack onions on this one, and I thought the sandwich taste was better without them… the caramelized onions were enough onion for this sandwich). The au jus sauce was very flavorful and soaked that pretzel bun perfectly. The star of our collective meal was the Mac N Cheese Bits. Seriously, take my advice and order this as your side when you stop in. It’s seriously cheesy(and I’m talking that commercial quality, lift your fork from the bowl and cheese stings along kinda cheesy) and beautifully salty thanks to those delicious chunks of ham mixed in. I could seriously just enjoy an order of this for lunch with a drink next time. It really is decadent. Not to be overlooked is the complimentary fried pickle we each received with our orders, which was about as good as everything else we were served.

Eat here. Now. This place owns my heart. My husband and I started going right after we got married last year, the place was packed due to the holiday season. Our service was so slow because of the high volume and we were questioning it, then we met MARCIE who owns our hearts now. She made up for the slow service making sure we were satisfied and getting to know us! Then we had the food. Holy mother of delicious. Chicken fried steak, eggs benedict, kitchen sink sandwich, you name it. Nothing here is bad and it all rules my world. We go back as often as we can and it always feels like home. LOVE.

This is one of my top go-to places to dine at. It is so underrated, but that also makes for a very calm Atmosphere. The staff is superb, very attentive. And the food, of course, is nothing short of 5 stars. If you want a win-win choice try the mo’betta hot sandwich, you won’t be disappointed. Or the sample platter if you want to try their meats. All in all, perfect.
