This place is now closed! There is a «closed for good» sign in the front. A little sad Unilocal wasn’t updated to show this was closed before I ventured out here but it’s okay. Warning all Unilocalers now :)

This place is not bad! We originally got the wrong order but after a quick glance she realized it and quickly exchanges it for the correct order. If you can sit anywhere, try the tucked away corner for 2. Peace and quiet!

First time here and I had a great experience. We were seated right away and our food came pretty quick after we ordered. The staff is super friendly, sweet, and nice. The food is really good! Had the peanut butter and banana waffles and it was awesome! Overall, very nice place, had a great experience and will come back again!

Walked 20 minutes before closing and asked the host what’s the quickest plate to make because I was aware of their business hours. First thing she stated was that they are closing soon. Apparently that was her queue of saying I want to leave asap. 1 star is what you get!

My boyfriend and I have been here a few times just to give them chances thinking maybe the second or thids time would be better. Maybe we’re too hopeful. I feel like the food is way over priced not matter what you order. We’ve tried breakfast a couple times which was decent. I like the size of their waffles… but for 1 waffle to range from $ 8-$ 10…it’s ridiculous. The eggs were weird and tasteless. The bacon and sausages were gross. Today we tried lunch. He had a chili cheese burger and I had a patty melt. The chili was super watery. My patty melt was super dry. The fries we both had tasted like they had been frozen for too long. Also, the ranch sauce was disgusting and incredibly watery with a weird yellow tint to it. I’ve only seen that on the lids of ranch bottles because it’s old. The service wasn’t that great either. The ladies were nice! But they didn’t really check up on us or notice when we tried to get their attention. They just served the food and left without asking if we would like anything else. I eventually gave up trying to get any passing waitress’ attention and settled with the warm ketchup on the table. We waited almost the whole meal until someone finally came to see how we were doing.

Went here today and received excellent service from our server, Michelle. It was definitely service with a smile! The food was hot and came out exactly as I ordered it. Which says a lot because I’m very picky and I want what I want. On a side note the bathrooms were impeccably clean.

My mom and I came here for a quick breakfast and we were a lil disappointed with the waffles it was tasteless. The food quantity is reasonable but the quality is not the greatest. The service was great but the food quality needs to improved. I wouldn’t come back here. It feels like a Denny’s or Nations!

My husband and I came here once because it looked good, but when we got there we were told it would be a 15 minute wait, we actually waited 30 minutes. The food was ok, but it was way over priced.

It’s been such a long time since I have eaten at a Country Waffles(since the one in Vallejo closed)! I was craving a peanut butter and bananas waffle, but the Hillbilly Breakfast caught my eye. It came with a biscuit cut in half, 2 eggs and 4 sausages. I also ordered a side of hash browns to go with it. Everything tasted great, but I thought that my meal was a pricey without the side of hash browns, but if I didn’t order them, I would definitely still be hungry.

Their breakfast is passable but the lunch is horrible. My husbands burger was OK even though they specifically say they include pickle spears and he didn’t get any. The fries are basically just Ore Ida crinkle fries you can make at home, yuck. I do NOT recommend the Ruben, it was tiny and the cheese was the fake over processed kind, not actual Swiss cheese as advertised on the menu. Definitely NOT small child friendly either. We brought our toddler and didn’t receive a child menu or crayons although they asked if we wanted a kids menu when we were ordering, a bit too late! And never mentioned crayons, we saw them when we were checking out. Also my son’s food was literally the last things that was brought out, they took out one plate at a time from the kitchen a few minutes apart, which is bad enough, but never ever give a child who doesn’t have patience food last! Bad all around. The server was nice enough and that’s the only reason they got two stars. It makes me sad because I used to really like this location but now I feel like there cheating out to save a buck.

Four stars on their waffles alone. I was tempted to get a plain breakfast with 2 pancakes, eggs and house potatoes but if I’m going to a waffle house I better try the damn waffles. I didn’t order anything else but for me that one waffle was big enough. I wish I didn’t get the strawberry waffle though because the middle of the waffle was soggy and the strawberry syrup/jelly was too sweet for me so I basically only ate the outside of the waffle. They put a fair amount of sliced strawberries on top, more than I thought they would. That whip cream was life, though! So good and I’m usually not a fan of whip cream. I tried a bite of my friends eggs Benedict and I’m glad I didn’t order that over my waffle. The ham was too salty, the hollandaise was meh. Get the waffles. You’re at a Waffle House anyway. Flakey, sweet, and soft.

Pretty darn poor… Ordered a chicken fried steak & a tri-tip dip for take out. When we got home, sandwich had nasty taste, fries were«industrial», and cold. Steak was about 3″ x 3″ x ¼″, cold and tough. Nasty, won’t be going back there… y

Don’t get their crepes. I think my problem is that I was first introduced to crepes at a real crepery so anything else is sub par. The service was kind and they were friendly. They are basically the only reason I give this place a 2. None of my family liked their food. I got crepes, my mom got eggs benedict, my dad got biscuits and gravy and my brother got a burger. None of us finished our food. The store seems very unclean. There are almost no decorations and their table settings and chairs and such are very out-dated. It was not a very good experience. I’d rather just pay a little bit more and go to Ihop.

Breakfast is easy right? It doesn’t need to be fancy it just has to be tasty, rugged, filling, and served with a smile. I had to give this joint a fair shake and it failed to please. First off it took a while before anyone noticed we were standing at the hostess table. It wasn’t busy, no one cared enough to look up and tell us they would be with us. Once seated it took over ten minutes to check on us. It’s a diner man, it shouldn’t be complicated. I had steak and eggs and portions were righteous. The steak had no seasoning though. The biscuits were hard but the gravy was pretty good. The wife had a pecan banana waffle and she seemed to enjoy it. My daughter had a smiley face pancake and it made her smile and sad at the same time to have to eat it. I give it low ratings because service was slow and no apologies provided. I know waitressing is tough but just be up and ready to serve someone. That’s why we go out to eat, especially breakfast. I noticed the same for other tables so it just seems service isn’t a focus here. The food wasn’t good enough to come back for with this level of service so no reason to go back here for me.

Very disappointing experience today. Our waitress was nice but she was the only waitress. For the whole restaurant. And it was busy. So because of this, it took us a little while longer to have our order taken. Took a lot longer to get our food. When our food did come it was luke warm because the one waitress for the whole restaurant had to make sure everyone else got their food that ordered ahead of us. You could see the food getting stacked on the pick up line. Our waitress was so flustered she forgot to bring us our eggs and bacon. I can’t really say if the food was good or not because it was luke warm. I was so hungry anyway that it didn’t matter. My best guess is that the management here either doesn’t have a clue, someone quit, someone called in sick, etc. Whatever the case, they weren’t prepared for it and we left disappointed. Not sure if I’d go back, I was really looking forward to breakfast too! :(

My waitress greeted me with a smile as soon as I entered this was a great start to my meal. The skillet with chorizo added was delicious. My server Ryen was phenomenal with her friendly attitude and attention to detail and efficiency. If I lived here I would be a regular.

The country potatoes are different and a good size portion. The waffles are nice and fluffy. I tried the peanut butter and banana waffles which was not bad but it had a lot of peanut butter. Other than that it was good experience. The customer service wasn’t the best but the food came out fast and hot.

It’s almost unfair to write a review of this place. I’ll try to be nice. Came here for brunch with my husband’s family for his birthday with a party of 12. We were seated within 15 minutes, although we had to be spread across 3 different tables that weren’t even near each other. That made conversation almost impossible. Our orders were taken promptly, and they were kind enough to make my husband an item that was not on the menu. I give them points for that. Service(2 stars): Our severs seemed to switch throughout the meal, which caused problems because we had to keep re-requesting things. Case in point: more apple juice, waters, straws… we’d ask one server and then we wouldn’t see her again for a while, so we’d have to ask someone else. So we had to ask the next server. This«server swapping» system wasnt very efficient. Food(3 stars): My club was okay. The side salad was prepackaged, but that’s no surprise. My husband had a hot link sandwich which was served on toasted bread with scambled egg and cheese. It was surprisingly tasty, albeit something I could have prpared in my own kitchen. But OH! The orange juice — they used the orange juice cans from concentrate — you know, the ones that you buy in frozen aluminum cans that you have to add water to? Oh LORD! Seriously? You couldn’t even serve REAL orange juice?! Wow. Price(4 stars): Cheap. The bill was $ 144 for 12 people. Enough said. Overall, they get a very generous 3 stars for making a dspecial dish for my husband and for being appropriately cheap. If you have a family and just want decent food at a decent price, you’ll get it here. Thank God I live in SF.
