This was my first time at grocery outlet. I wasn’t really looking for anything special but my wife and I had been talking about checking the new location in the Nut tree. There is plenty of parking when we got there. When we walked in and turned the corner, I immediately noticed the garden section. There were bobble head gnomes, ceramic goodies like frogs, mushrooms, boots, etc. for garden deco. I’ve always been on the hunt for these things and I can only find them in garage sales where it’s cheap, or Lowe’s or Home Depot where they’re a little pricey. But this place had them priced perfectly. The figurines cost range from $ 2.99 to $ 9.99 which is very fair. I got real excited and grabbed a few pieces. Another isle down was a sports supplement section. I was surprise to see their whey protein supplements a whole lot cheaper than Walmart and other websites. The only catch is their short expiration which was fine with me bc I can finish a jar in no time however it’s still about $ 10 less than other competitors. On the same aisle, I grabbed some disposable razors and shaving cream for a bargain price. The produce was pretty nice also. They had huge avocados for 5 for $ 5 and miniature ones for a $ 1.99 for a bunch. They had organic greens and a nuts section as well. We went into their frozen section and grabbed a few bags of frozen organic veggies. I also picked up a few recovery Gatorade and Starbucks protein double shot coffee drinks. We checked out their wine section and didn’t recognize any of the wines they sold but they do have brand name beers like lagunitas. When we were finally at the register to pay for our groceries, there was this tall cashier who looked a little like Seth Rogan and sounded like him too. He did not once acknowledged us but kept talking to the bagger about what he would say to this girl. The only time he said something to us is when he said, «the grand total is $ 122.34.» He really needed work on his customer service and if I’m not mistaken he’s a manager. I will definitely come back here only for the great deals and not for the customer service. Only three star for now. I’m sure it will be back up to 4 stars if I had a cashier that cared about me a customer rather than conversing with the bagger.

You just never know when you’ll find a good bargain in this place, but that’s ok, it’s always find to come in and look around. Just been a while since we found a treasure.

I just bought $ 75 patio lounge chairs for $ 30 at the outlet. I was stunned. They are amazing I bought brand name groceries for a lot less money. I had no idea I thought it was just damaged goods but it’s all new stuff.

I love the grocery outlet! This one is not as busy as most, and they have all the great deals. Today I got some Danish butter 8 ounce package for $ 1.99. Other than Costco, this is my favorite place to shop. They are conveniently located off of Highway 80 in Vacaville. You can’t miss them. The right next to the GNC and the FedEx office and dickeys barbecue.

The best grocery outlet I’ve been too. Very clean and always have a variety of things I’m looking for. As long as you don’t care about brands or certain flavors on items this is the place to shop. Doesn’t get any cheaper.

Out of the whole store’s inventory at any given time, the actual bargains are few and far between. There are sooooo many things in the store that are cheaper at regular supermarkets! You have to check the flyers that come around once in a while to scour them for actual deals. And then don’t expect the items to be in the store when you get there.

Pretty cheap, but don’t expect variety, consistency, or options. They had clementines and apples… but no bananas. They had hundreds of boxes of Ritz crackers(Original) but none of the other kinds(Whole Wheat, etc). It’s like the Goodwill of food — you can find huge bargains as long as you’re willing to compromise on the specifics of what you get.

Best Grocery Outlet around. Always well-stocked, and full of good deals. Plus, cleaner than most locations.

Really clean and well organized. Has a lot more selection compared to the old store, with items that look fresher.(At the old location I would NEVER buy dairy or fresh foods from here because they looked liked they would get you sick, but not anymore!) Cheap alcohol selection if you need it – and they had a really good sale during the holidays on their wine(ended 12÷22÷13). Cheap/Competitive pricing – mainly on their frozen, boxed, canned, and bagged items. The prices on their fresh food/meats aren’t as cheap/as good of a deal compared to other stores like WalMart or Winco. Sometimes they have samples!

I stop in at least once a month, love this place. Great selection and the they rotate product all the time so it’s not the same old stuff every time you go. The staff is always friendly and wants to help even with your grocery’s to the car :) Their new location is the best because it has more room for excellent deals.

This latest store in the Grocery Outlet chain opened in September, 2012. Such a much more convenient location than the original Vacaville store. Located on the south side of the I-80 on Nut Tree Parkway, this store is one of the largest Grocery Outlets I have visited, and certainly by far the most modern and fresh. Well stocked, super clean, great prices, and quick check out by very pleasant staff. The wine selection is excellent, with deeply discounted prices compared to the competition. If you haven’t yet made a visit to a Grocery Outlet, you need to experience the discounted pricing on everyday grocery needs. Each and every time a new Grocery Outlet opens, the stores keep getting larger and more modern. Great pricing keeps me coming back. Both credit card and debit cards accepted, very convenient.
