This Walmart is always an unpleasant experience when I come here. I’m never greeted at all with a simple how are you doing. As a cashier at Home Depot we are expected to greet every customer we come within 10 feet off and isn’t anything difficult. Instead as I’m leaving the jolly looking door man just gives me and awkward stare. I really don’t plan on ever coming back to this Walmart as the suisun Walmart is closer anyways.

The manager was awful. He was rude and didn’t care how offensive he was being. Honestly, I would’ve just left everything and walked out, had it not been the cashier, who was polite and kind. Really though, I would expect the manager to be more professional, but what can you expect? Most likely never going to this location ever again. Save yourself. Target may be more expensive, but at least they’re nicer. Or go the extra mile and just go to Suisun.

Most WalMarts are ghetto but this one was actually clean and well organized. Even the staff was accommodating and genuinely nice.

It’s a mixed bag. You never know what kind of service you will get. Go into the electronics Dept and they really are always short handed. Little things like this is what gives it 2 stars.

I used to work for Walmart in the early 2000’s, so that may color this just a bit. Vacaville is probably one of the oddest stores I have been in. I’m guessing this used to be a «division 1» store(a store without groceries) which was morphed into a supercenter. However, this presents numerous problems. First, there’s only one entrance /exit. Second, departments are in odd locations — pharmacy is in the middle of the store adjacent to grocery, electronics is located next to the tire and lube express. The store needs some serious stocking help. I went here on Thanksgiving, as I needed some clothes due to my forgetting a bag, and I have no clue what the folks were thinking. Everything was pretty much blocked off, and you could forget about navigating the store. However, I think part of this is because they didn’t do a very good job of integrating the grocery section when remodeled. The meat is in the dead center, across from the pharmacy. You wouldn’t know it was there, as it’s not marked.

The only problem is the staff is really lazy and don’t seem to know anything about what they are selling but it is true when they say Walmart has everything

Just doing a simples return with receipt — the ladies are so slow. They talk to each other about every transaction. Why?! The line is out of the door! Horrible!

When you are driving up to this place you have to go through a somewhat deserted strip mall which almost gives you pause. When you first walk in there is the grocery dept. and it seemed fine except for the dead flowers in the display for sale, Really? OK now the rest of the store seemed organized enough but some of the shelves were a little empty like they had ran out of stuff. I found the things I needed and found my way out of the store. I was a little taken a back when the cashier that was checking me out was wearing latex gloves. Like it was so germy that she had to wear gloves to keep from getting germs on her. I found it funny while I was in there that someone wanted to return a mouthguard without a receipt, and they wouldn’t let them because it was used. Really people? There is a McDonalds in the front of the store as you exit for your eating pleasure.

Clerks were called to the front to ring up customers… Still took awhile to be rang up… Oh yeah, and I came home with a spray adhesive without the spout… ½ star if I could…

No. Just no. I am sooo lost. Lol maybe it’s my lack of experience with walmart but is there another section to this store? What super center?! This location is just a grocery store. It is mostly food. Nothing else. I thought I was walking into a regular walmart when came here, looking for home supplies but this is not it. It is extremely small and again… Unless I missed a whole other building attached to this one, I’m not sure what is super about this store. Lol I even went out, got in my car like a confused soul, and drove around the whole store because I couldn’t believe that was all there was. Didn’t know some walmart stores were mainly for grocery. I feel educated now I’m giving it a one star mostly due to the misleading«super center» I had to go out of my way at night, after 12 hours of work, when I had work again in the morning and it was not a pleasant experience.

It’s a Walmart… ‘What else needs to be said. Oh, pardon me… It’s a «Walmart Supercenter.» Translation: They carry more, low quality crap that’s «Made in China.»(Just kidding… Sometimes it’s Taiwan.) It’s a very nice Walmart but the question is, «How long will it remain this way…» That’s the REAL question. I’ve seen Walmart start out with a bang and shortly after, «Ghetto’mart.» The place becomes a sh*thole, garbage spewed throughout the parking lot, nasty bathrooms… ‘Just plain ol’ dirty.(i.e. — Fairfield/Vallejo locations) Since, relocating to the area, I’ve been to this location quite a few times and found just about everything I needed. Overall, the customer service has been relatively good, at times it can be hit & miss. However, the pricing is generally, very good. Now, this Walmart isn’t exactly ghetto but it does have that element…(i.e. — Sketchy, loitering, people just«hanging out») It’s a great place to people watch, you know those Walmart photos of people who look liked they dressed themselves in the dark…(i.e. — «The People of Walmart») I’d swear that half of those photos came from here… ‘And there’s even a website solely dedicated to these folks, true story. Ladies & gentlemen, I give you: The People of Walmart — ‘Someone mentioned the Walmart Supercenter in Dixon, which I may make the drive over just to check it out… Walmart Supercenter(Dixon) — Like I said, it’s a Walmart…(Shrugs) «Eh…» — Aloha! Food: 3(Standard) Ambiance: 2(‘Can be sketchy) Service: 3(‘Can be «Hit & Miss») Value: 4(Overall, good prices)
