Eagle Valley Pharmacy At Vail Valley Medical Center

Longtime local that had to switch pharmacies because my pharmacy quit taking my Medicare part d part of my insurance after the first of the new year. Unfortunately I chose the WRONG pharmacy. Eagle valley pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. The customer service was terrible. I had my prescriptions transferred the day before and when I went in the next morning they weren’t even ready for me. I was told they weren’t ready because they didn’t have my information. Which I was very understanding. However the person behind the counter was very rude. She seemed annoyed that I was taking up her time. Then she told me, after getting my information, that it would be a three hour wait. Pharmacy was empty. I was astonished. I had two prescriptions to fill. Then she disappeared to go get lunch and a bald man came out I guess to cover her. He was very abrasive. I assumed he was the manager. Regardless the whole experience was awful and unnecessary. I would advise anyone in the valley to NOT go to this pharmacy. The staff is unfriendly and cold. I will be calling the hospital to let them know the experience I had at this pharmacy.

They were super friendly and helpful– I think this might be the only pharmacy for miles around. They pointed me exactly to what I needed– the blooming sage was giving me horrible hay fever– and they saved my vacation, yay!
