Roto-Rooter Plumbers

This really shady plumber came to my home for drain cleaning, no price before was quoted, but afterward price was $ 750.00. This is for drain cleaning. IF any one ever have browsed the internet, the price across state is $ 65, $ 75, $ 99. Have you heard of $ 750?

I called Roto Rooter today to evaluate a new water heater that I recently installed. I made an appointment for the following day but was pleasantly surprised when the office secretary phoned and told me they could come today. Rick the service tech responded to my home within the hour and addressed my concerns. After reviewing the water heater, he evaluated all the plumbing in house free of charge. Futhermore, the entire visit and initial consultation was free.
I am very satisfied with the level of service I received. Everyone that represented Roto Rooter was professional, prompt and friendly. Futhermore Rick the Tech was a real pleasure to deal with. He calmed my fears and offered excellent advice. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

Roto Rooter would not give me a quote to install 3 toilets over the phone. Although they arrived within their 2 hour window, only one repair person showed up. I asked him how he was going to carry toilets up the stairs; he was at a loss. His quote to install toilets was $ 350 each versus Home Depot price of $ 150. He said he couldn’t match that price, but he would snake my drains and give me a discount on chemicals. I can’t believe he had the audacity to upsell me chemicals. I told him no thank you and that I would not recommend them. I find it crazy that plumbers can’t give you an toilet replacement estimate over the phone. It just isn’t that complicated, and they are supposed to be experts in that field. No thank you Roto Rooter. You will not be called ever again.

To bad i cant give negative stars. They would not give me a price to install a dishwasher over the phone. They were over 2 hours late. Then they wanted to charge 4x as much as anyone else to do the job. the guy was saying it would be over 400 when anyone else would do it for about 100. Call someone else and say your time.
