I used to work here and it was always busy and great reviews. I keep reading all these reviews about how bad it is and i dont even know what to say. Things most definitely need to change there.

I go to Togos almost once a week(even more during Hart baseball season). Slowly the service got worse. More often I would hear that they just put something away and I couldn’t order it BUT tonight was the final straw. Me and my two sons went to Togos tonight at 7:00 pm and the kid behind the counter announced that they were closed when I walked in. I asked why and with a smart ass smile on his face he told me they ran out of «everything»! Really!?? We went over to Firehouse Subs just a block away and found our NEW sub shop to eat at once a week. Matt. From what I’m reading in your reviews, You’d better straighten that place up or you’ll be closing your doors soon.

The food is good but very poor management. Very under staffed and the bathrooms are disgusting. Don’t think we will be going back

I never expected to be writing a review for a sandwich shop but here I am! Yesterday I went in and ordered the turkey and avocado whole wheat six inch and for $ 6.95 out the door I was fully sated the rest of the day(this was at 12:30pm) The staff was courteous and the décor was sleek and hip. I’m writing this today because I just went and had a tuna sandwich at one of their competitors — same size but a dollar more. Equally satisfying but for the price you can’t beat Togo’s. The other chain sandwich shop whose spokesperson is currently under federal investigation, cannot compare with the quality of the ingredients. I am a new devotee!

Togos was my favorite sandwich chain 10 years ago. Walked in the one by Target last night at 8:24pm — they close at 9:00pm I asked for a meatball sub and a chicken salad sub. The kid — nice kid — said he couldn’t do either one because something he mentioned had already been cleaned and put away. Never again.

As a Business Owner, I do not like to write bad reviews(karma, might have something to do with it) but after my last experience visiting this restaurant, I felt that it was necessary. Before writing this review, I sent a detailed e-mail to the Togo’s Corporate office letting them know about the issues that I’ve continually experienced at this location(that I will briefly explain below) I promptly received an automatic reply stating that they would share my comments with the Owner/Manager of the location and that someone would contact me «within 3 days». That was 2 weeks ago and have not heard from back from anyone. So here is my review: I used to be a weekly regular customer at this location(my office is only about 2 blocks away) but I have only been in twice in the last 4 months. This is because on my last visits, the wait times have been incredibly long, they always seem out of several items(my last visit, they were out various beverages– even bottled water, no spring mix or croutons for the salad) the restaurant itself, especially the Fountain Drink Dispenser area is always filthy and the Employees are obviously not happy to be there– so much so that refelects in the service that they provide. It’s unfortunate to see a once great place to get good food and friendly service, turn into a place that I avoid. These issues can not solely be the fault of the workers– since my original complaint was sent directly to the Corporate Office and it wasn’t even acknowledged, Managment from the top down is not doing what they are supposed to. I wish the workers the best of luck!

The sandwiches are fine, but the service is seriously lacking. I waited 15 minutes for them to serve three people, only to then be told they were out of gluten free wraps. Why not put up a sign so people don’t end up waiting for nothing? Very frustrating. Every time I go there, the workers really seem to be out to lunch, no pun intended.

Worst togos experience I’ve ever had it was so disappointing. 20 min to help me with no one else in there. Staff was rude. I ordered a wrap they made it a salad. They were not stocked on chips. Didn’t say please or thank you. They no longer offer gift cards which was the only reason I went. So bummed that a good place has gone to crap.

I have not been to a Togo’s in years because my last experience wasn’t great, and in stuck in my mind every time anyone ever suggested this place. I must say that my sandwiches today were good enough that I will be back without the decade-long period in between visits. I had the club with bacon, turkey, cheddar cheese, etc. I had it on white rather than the standard sourdough. It was tasty with fresh ingredients and nicely toasted. My nephew had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich, and loved it. He enthusiastically declared it superior than his favorite sandwich at Jersey Mike’s. The service was really slow, but quite friendly. Luckily we were not in a hurry today, so I didn’t mind the delay. Another gentleman was there at the same time, and the sandwich artist had forgotten to toast it, so that required a little re-do for that, but again pretty friendly and apologetic service.

Ridiculous wait. Apparently they were understaffed, but instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, the female employee snottily replied(to the polite woman ahead of me who calmly asked why the wait was so long) that«everyone was getting mad, but there’s nothing we can do about it». Classy. So glad I spent 2⁄3 of my lunch break standing in line. Thanks, Togo’s.

Came here for lunch today for a salad(no meat as it is Good Friday). Anyway, I have to agree with Stephanie B. here. Waiting in line way too long. I think the way they have it set up is not efficient at all. The only tiny saving grace was my salad maker. He was very pleasant.(Wish I would have gotten his name). He has a beard.. The seating here is big but so dirty. Also the music they have coming out of that TV is hideous and way too loud. That alone would not make me want to come back.

SLOWESTSANDWICHMAKERSEVER! Do not come in here on a Saturday unless you expect to be in line for 30 – 45 minutes. Probably never coming back here. I would rather go to Subway.

I came here because I had a birthday coupon for a free sandwich with a drink purchase. The inside of the restaurant is dark but not dirty. The staff not so friendly and had doubts about the coupon which they can’t complain because their location is listed within the places that accept the coupon and I did print out the email so everything was done. After we ordered our sandwich which was kind of hard to order because you don’t see the sand which until the end so it makes it kind of like a trust exercise that I do not wanna play since I am used to seeing my sandwich prepared in front of me. But oh well, you build a bridge and get over it. When we payed the girl forgot about the coupon so she charged us the whole thing(I would have been mortified to pay $ 9 for a small sandwich) but she did apply it in the end. She charged us for a medium drink and I was shocked it was almost $ 5 just wow! Not even chips with it… The tastes of the bread was decent to say the least. The chicken was cold although we asked for it to be toasted. I will not be back to this location. Maybe another location will be different. On anger note I understand that coupons are annoying and that restaurants do not get the money they might deserve but thy don’t realize that it does bring potential customers and if the customers are treated right and given good food then they will be back every time to buy their product regardless if they have a coupon or not. Anyways I was hungry and so was my friend so in our tummies it went, however I would have prefers to go to subway and payed for that then just one coke and decent bread.

Been waiting 15 minutes to be served. Two servers dealing with take out orders and one person dealing with people wanting to order in the store. This is not the way to run a business.

Friday night, @ 645 pm I really really want to love Togo’s, But, Lately, They always seem to disappoint! So tonight my GF and I decided to pick up some sandwiches to bring with us to the movies.(Yea, I know, movie theater no-no…) anyways, so movie starts at 730, and we have plenty of time because its only 645 when we get in the line to order some sandwiches. There is one couple ordering, one gentleman waiting next, and then us. Okay, so there is one worker making the couple’s sandwiches and that’s the only soul I see working here… Oh wait, here comes another worker from the back room, a girl with tattoos(nothing against tats by the way, just trying to be detailed with the review) who clearly looks like she hates her job, to assist the guy waiting before us. Tic toc tic toc tic toc… girl finishes the gentleman’s sandwich and off she goes, mop or broom in hand. Back to just one associate working the line. And it’s our turn, guy associate(Clearly looks like he hates his job too,) calls us up. All this while the line begins to grow behind us Long story short, it should not take 30 min to order two sandwiches at Togo’s when there’s only two people ahead of us in line and one is already ordering, and two associates working. I saw what the other couple ordered and it was two sandwiches. Guy in front of us, one sandwich. Then our order two sandwiches. That’s 5 sandwiches in 30+ minutes(+ because Im not sure how long the couple that was already ordering was up there ordering for) at this equation Togo’s your not going to be open much longer. The fact that the couple ahead of us was done eating the same time we finalized our transaction blew my mind. Also the bread(whole wheat) the sandwich maker pulled out was totally smashed. I wanted sour dough originally, but hey to no surprise, they were out again. Sooo yea we ended up missing our movie :(and lost complete faith in Togo’s tonight. Should of listened to the GF and went to Jersey Mikes instead. Im not sure if this Togo’s is a franchise or not, but who ever is running this place needs to get it together. It starts with prompt customer service followed up with quality product which = success, this establishment is lacking both. Own up, and fix it. Im usually brief with my reviews, but since this Togo’s had been bad to me three times in a row and to others Ive spoken too, it was time to speak my mind. Thank you for reading Yours truly Ex Togo’s Lover Ps: it is neither of the two associates fault, remember where it starts, and it starts with the leadership of the management.

Been standing in line for 10 minutes only to witness one employee up front helping and the other two walk up front, see the line, and walk away. This place is a joke. Oh, and the air conditioning is broken.

I’m generally a fan of Togo’s and much prefer them to Subway or Jersey Mike’s or any of the other chains. However, that said, I’m not a big fan of this location. I placed a catering order at this location on Monday, Oct 6 so I could pick up at 5PM on Tuesday Oct 7 for a professional group I order food for monthly. Togo’s had a coupon offering 20% off all sandwich trays and big salads, and I planned to use it. First problem on Monday, the person taking the order was unfamiliar with current promotions. I did explain I had the coupon and what it was for, so he said just bring it in when I pick up the food. The store called me at noon on Tuesday and got my credit card information, but said nothing about charging my card, or what the amount was, even though the prior day I learned the expected cost would be $ 76 with the coupon. I arrived and saw a receipt for $ 95…obviously more than what I was supposed to pay. I explained I had a coupon and the clerk said well, we already charged your card. I told her I didn’t care, refund it and charge me the correct amount. The next 15 minutes was the clerk being talked through that process over the phone. I examined the order and even though I had requested plates and serving utensils, I got sandwiches, 2 big salads, forks, dressing, mayo and mustard. No bowls or plates or serving tongs for the salad. Now how were we expected to eat the salads? On the topic of the salads, they turned out to be big bowls of tomato, cucumber, red onion, pepperoncini, crumbled blue cheese and almost NO lettuce! I didn’t think that with a 20% discount, I would get less food, less service or an attempted overcharge. Not consistent with my usual Togo’s experience and definitely not happy.

NOM. My thoughts: 1. One sami will last you for two meals. These things are HUGE. Plan accordingly. 2. Not just samis. I love the grilled veggie wrap and the southwestern salad. The soup is bomb as well. 3. Fast service! These kids are faaaast. 4. Beware of lunch hour. Togos gets PACKED. I am not a huge fan of lines so I try to avoid the lunch crowd. 5. Fresh! All of the food I’ve had here is fresh and yummy. No complaints here. 6. A nice change from the traditional sami joint. You can only go to Subway so many times, right?

Togo’s vs. Subways: Togo’s gives you a decent amount meat whereas Subway gives you a salad in a breadbowl with the hint of meat.(No wonder Jared lost weight.) Favorite Togo’s subs: Pastrami, Roast Beef(hot or cold), and BBQ Beef — all excellent. Heads up: This Togo’s usually has a bit of a line(vs. the other Togo’s.) Just wait. It’s worth it.
