C & T Cabinet Co.

This is the best custom cabinet company in the Bay Area. They just completed 3 bathrooms and a kitchen at my home and everything worked perfectly. The job was completed on time and under budget. It’s very few companies like this around; they are honest, knowledgable, dependable and always meets my expectations.

Terrible communication and customer service. Asked for a quote for a bath vanity after I ordered kitchen cabinets, they never got back to me. When the cabinets came in they did not notify me. They made a measuring mistake and had to reorder some cabinets. One cabinet needed to be reglued as it was coming apart. They never set up a date/​time for install and when I called they said they were on their way which was a problem as I do not live at the property. They were expensive for particle board and wood frames. Better off to go to home depot

This review has bee long overdue. We removed our built in bathroom vanity (in our 1964 house) and the space was just over that of a standard vanity. We looked at buying a cabinet and modifying it. Was gonna cost us $$$$$. Saw C&T Cabinet on Unilocal and decided to see what they could offer. We were able to get a custom built cabinet with good solid wood, a granite countertop, custom staining and all the holes drilled for our bowl sinks and faucets for less than buying a modified cabinet/​non-​granite countertop. Tom and Joey are very professional, offered their expertise in helping us design the cabinet, were more concerned about giving us what we needed without breaking our pocketbook, and the cabinet was on time when they said it would be. I can’t say enough good things about this company. Very down to earth people, friendly, and have many options to choose from.

I needed a cabinet for a computer work station to install in a very prominent location of the house. This needed to function in a particular way, and to blend in with the shaker cabinetry already in place. I looked around Marin for a custom cabinet shop but either they were too busy (one supposes) to call back, or the Unilocal reviews indicated the cabinetmaker was something of a prima donna. So I expanded my search and found C & T not far away in Vallejo. I knew this place was the real deal when I first walked in the door — the raw materials were just various dimensions of hardwood lumber and heavy plywood. Everything is made from scratch here, and it looks great. Very reasonable prices, but the main thing is you will like the work Tom and his son do — they are real craftsmen. Go here.

I called a number of local cabinet businesses in Vallejo and surrounding areas because I needed some custom wood cut for a custom shelf I was building. C&T was the only one willing to help me. I spoke with Joey on the phone and he was nice and helpful. He told me to come down and take a look to see what they had. When I got there I dealt with Tom. Tom was very nice, helpful and professional! He even helped me finish my design and gave me a great price for the materials. In 3 hours my custom pieces of wood were ready. I picked them up, brought them home and build my shelf for my custom home theater.
Their establishment was very well laid out and very professional. I will definitely refer and do business with them in the future!

Just got off the phone with Tom at C & T Cabinets. I ordered a simple shelf unit a month ago. I was told it would take 3 weeks. Tom said he’d give me a call with the exact quote for the custom paint to match my cabinets… never heard from him. Now he says he hasn’t even started on the project and the quote for the painting has gone from $ 180 to $ 330.
I have asked for a refund of my deposit.
Abysmal customer service!

I have never been one to write a review on this thing, but my recent experience with C&T has compelled me to do so. I really don’t see why anyone would choose another cabinet maker… seriously.
Tom and Joe are a great father and son team. They can do a number of things with your kitchen; they are really knowledgable, and they make excellent suggestions based on you and your budget. The craftsmanship of our new kitchen is impeccable!

They now offer cabinet refacing, which is a more cost efficient option for those looking to remodel on a budget! These aren’t your ordinary piece of crap Home Depot cabinets (which I was having replaced), C & T refaces with REAL wood cabinets!
My kitchen looks remarkable– a custom job done by incredibly talented and hardworking men! Much appreciation for thier skill, attention to detail. and friendliness, that will keep me spreading the word!

Tom and Joe are great! Give them some tools and some wood and they will make you a piece of art! We had to replace one cabinet in our house and Tom and Joe made the other cabinets look like trash! If you or any one you know needs a piece of quality wood work done don’t go any where else!!!
