I come here at least 3 times a month to order the #1(phở) and the #A8(sausage spring rolls). I’m completely addicted. All the Phở Lee Hoa Phat locations have EXCELLENT phở. The broth is so nice and beefy, I drink it down to the last drop. I live in the Bay Area where it’s hard to find good phở for less than $ 10, so I make sure to stop by when I’m riding past Vallejo. The only thing is… this is a straight-up hole in the wall. You know what that means; not clean, horrible atmosphere, and slightly rude service. But that’s totally fine with me. I appreciate that I don’t have to pay for the fancy atmosphere when all I want is good food. If it’s a hot day, don’t forget to get the vermicelli noodles. They are just as crave-worthy.

This place is decent. Just like many other phở places around the bay area. Service was alright. Medium size joint and good parking location. Cleanliness:(2.5÷5) My mother, nephew, and I came here for lunch on Friday, April 29, 2016. We ordered Grilled Pork over Rice, Chicken Phở(American Chicken), and Beef Meat Ball Phở. Two phở bowls and we only got one slice of lemon. Grilled Pork over Rice: I like how the plate comes with a bowl of soup on the side. Great amount of meat and rice. Chicken Phở: American chicken is different from Vietnamese chicken. It’s difficult to explain. My mother said the broth was good and she didn’t have to add any sauce to alter it. Beef Meat Ball Phở: The broth was great! I didn’t have to add anything else but hot sauce. There was a good amount of beef meat balls within the soup.

ThIs place is 3 stars for me. 4 for the food. 4 for the price. 2 for the service and 2 for the cleanliness. My kids and I were there on Sunday lunch. It was packed but we didn’t wait long at all to be seated. Our order had been taken right away as well. But the issues ware; I order one beef stew noodle soup for me, another kids size beef noodle soup with rice noodle and another beef noodle soup with egg for my other. When the ordered came out it was completely Wrong and I didn’t happy about it, so I requested changed from our waiter. He looked at me Mad and had the attitude. Well, if there something wrong you just changed for the customers right? But Anyway we got everything change and hope this place would be better next Time:)

This used to be my favorite Phở spot before I realized that Phở # 1 is a ZILLIONTIMESBETTER! I came here a few days ago for some take out and was surprised how quickly I got my food. Little did I know there was a price to pay. I’ve dealt with this issue at Chinese food restaurants but never at one of my beloved Phở places. Someone decided to add a tip to my card without asking me first! My receipt total was $ 16.29 and tge amount charged to my card was 19.55! I should have just used cash because I got a bad feeling when I went in there; but against my better judgement, I used my card instead. #Lessonlearned I definitely wont be coming back here again but if you should decide to come here, be safe and just use cash. This broke girl will never come here again. Even though it was a small amount, no amount of DISHONESTY with your customers money is acceptable!

Well, I stoped in on March 18th to try there chicken noodle soup. So I ordered the size small in case I would not like the soup, I was shown to my seat, very nice inside looked around and I felt I was being watched by all the waiters in the place, just to many on the floor to feel like you can enjoy your food in peace, when you are being HAWKEYED you just want to leave, the soup came and MANITWAS A SMALLBOWL, I had more water then noodles in the soup I also ordered some shrimp rolls and it was a waste of money. This place short changes you on your food. Go somewhere you can get more food and eat in peace.

Honestly, I’ve been here a few more time — actually, a lot more times. So this update is long overdue. But this place is actually quite decent. The new staff have been a HUGE improvement from those before and food is beyond decent. I’ve grown fond of this place. Some of the old criticisms still apply… but I no longer resent coming here.

We ALWAYS eat here… for YEARS, NOTANYMORE. Walk in, sit anywhere you like, we were given menus and I told the gentleman that we wanted fresh spring rolls with SHRIMPONLY, the man comes back with a menu and has me show him which one I’ m talking about. –_– its a fresh spring roll i’ m pretty sure many people order that. anyways it comes out with the meat in it. Its okay we ate it, kids were hungry, it tasted old and the lettuce was wilted and soggy. I ordered the Vermicelli with grilled pork, kids split a rice plate with pork chops, it was good. Since I had the rest of the day to go I felt like getting a iced coffee with the condensed milk, it was SOSWEET I could feel the cavities coming in my molars, and the coffee was bitter. can we say EW! Kids split a honeydew boba, cant mess that up. So as I’m sitting there waiting for the kids to finish, one of the cooks or waitresses was eating and she was standing by that ice machine just looking around and she has food spilling out of her mouth, she than spits it on the floor BYTHEICEMACHINE that they use, that’s disgusting. So it turned me off annnnnd I don’t plan on going back.

It’s the stripped down, cheap version of the food you love. My vermicelli dish was missing the egg rolls I paid for and the picked daikon and sprouts that are usually part of this dish. Instead they substituted iceberg lettuce. It got the job done but just barely.

I came here with my aunt and uncle. This by far the worst Vietnamese restaurant. Don’t waste your money on this. I just hope I don’t get food poisoned. The worst part is the staff here speak no English at all. They look like they just came from the boat. I even have to point it out on the menu and they still don’t understand. This is what Donald Trump was talking about. I don’t recommend this place and don’t waste your time and money. Will not return again.

Phở is bomb-beef and seafood broths! The rice plates are also great, I get the grilled chicken with the pork chops. Spring rolls are also yummy. I come for the phở, and stay for the boba! love this place because they use real fruits. Honeydew, cantaloupe, strawberry, taro are a few but coconut is my favorite! Service is what you would expect in a hole in the wall, but food comes out quick !

I’m from Southside San Diego so just right there goes to show I’m not from the area at all but I came here to visit family and with an empty stomach! I’m SO picky with my Vietnamese food because back home I have a designated place I ALWAYS go to and I hate risking other places to be disappointed but with that being said, this place is the BOMB.COM! I ordered #45(egg rolls w/vermicelli noodles), my dad ordered #30(beef stew w/bread) and my mom ordered #41A(the bbq shrimp rice platter. LAWD, so good! This place is super yummy! The only reason I’m giving this place 4⁄5 stars was because the servers were a bit rude and I literally only had one glass of water the whole time I was there but honestly their food was so good all that stuff I’ll gladly over look. HAHA!

This may have been some of the worst food that I have ever paid to eat. I ordered what the menu alluded to as spicy beef noodle soup. In the picture, you see nicely cooked, sliced beef, broth and some vegetables. When I received it however, I think my bowl included: broth, cow knuckle, some piece of digestive tract, sliced back fat and what I can only describe as a possible stomach ulcer. Oh, and the egg rolls look like they were fried yesterday and then again today when we ordered them. The diet Coke was good.

Definitely your typical Vietnamese restaurant. Usually I order phở at these places because they all seem to have the same menu, the same broth taste, and the same service. But I decided to get a rice plate because I was craving shrimp cake. I came here with my dad and my sister around 1130 on a Monday morning. There were several people already eating so I figured they were open for a good amount of time. We all ordered rice plates. My sister ordered one with porkchops. My dad ordered one with porkchops, shrimp cake, and an egg. And I ordered chicken with shrimp cake. We also ordered fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. Our spring rolls came out fast with some cups of soup to warm us up before our meal and also some fish sauce to dip our meat in. The spring rolls were good. And they seemed fresh. They had thin slices of meat and shrimp with bean sprouts, lettuce, and maybe mint. The broth that they gave us was a kind of chicken broth. It was soothing and very comforting. Shortly after, our food came out. My dad and my sister’s porkchops aren’t cut. So I asked one of the waiters for knives. I began eating right away. And after a while, I noticed my sister and dad just sitting and staring at their food. I quickly stopped eating and asked another waiter for knives, kind of upset at this point. Usually they give you knives when they bring your food. And for the other waiter to ignore me kind of pissed me off. They weren’t busy at all. And in my mind I was like… «You had one job.» Anyway, the knives came and we were all eating. I definitely took a bite out of the shrimp cake first, which was cooked perfectly. My chicken, however, was just waaaaaay too salty. I ate two pieces and gave up on it. My sister and dad enjoyed their porkchops. They literally cleaned the bones. So, I am glad that turned out well. Next time, I will definitely stick to phở. And maybe order shrimp cake as an appetizer or side.

Well… It’s one of the other Vietnamese spots in Vallejo. Unique? Something about it that stands out? Hmm. Not really, no. It’s good, to be sure, but there’s nothing here that sets it apart from any other Vietnamese places in town(though I still maintain that Phở #1… Is #1.) In terms of décor, there’s not much, which is what I usually find to be the case with spots like these. A few things here and there, but Vietnamese restaurants have a tendency to be simple affair. Nothing wrong with that either. As long as I have a nice comfortable place to sit while I pig out, that’s all I need sometimes. Service can be hit or miss. One night, you’ll get speedy friendly service. Other times, you might feel like you’re getting the cold shoulder. One night, I came in to order a mocha bubble freeze drink. The woman who took my order seemed frustrated for some reason. It took a long time to get just my drink as well. Maybe it was an off night? I have no clue. This is pretty much a spot that I’d only hit up if I was in the area and am with friends that feel like having Vietnamese food. Otherwise, I’ll probably just end up at Phở #1.

Been to this place about 4 times because its the closest to the hotel I’m staying at. I got the #2 Phở combo and #28 the beef stew to go. Also tried their avocado smoothie with boba, really liked it, they used real avocado. It’s an average place. They have a sign saying $ 10 minimum for credit card, my total was less than that and they still let me use it. Good service.

This is the only Vietnamese spot I go to because its the closest to me. plus I’ve been coming here for years. What I love about this place is that you get a ton of food for a very good price, and everything has that home cooked feel. My favorite dishes are the #33, #35& I think the #47? Sooooooo good! Plus add an avocado smoothie with pearl please OR my seasonal favorite watermelon and talk about YuM! My only thing about this place is their cleanliness. I think they can really use a good scrub(the hubby did say he saw a cockroach one time). and also, they always have like family or friends or workers who just sit at that one table(people who go there no what I’m talking about) who just ‘hang out’ there in front of customers. not very professional.
