After a failed attempt to get crab at Safeway I arrive here at 8:50. Seafood counter is open until 9. Ask employee to get me some crab as she is cleaning the meat/​seafood area. No problem, would you like snow crab or king crab. Snow crab please, thanks for doing your job.

Okay, so the place is somewhat outdated and it’s not the most attractive grocery store in town. But what it lacks in cosmetic appeal, it absolutely makes up for in customer service. The staff in every department of the store have been nothing short of exceptional. We’ve shopped here for quite some time now, and though the selection isn’t always as robust as other locations, it is perfect for the essentials of every day life. Also, hit up Cheap Chicken Monday. It is seriously some of the best chicken we’ve ever had. So good in fact that they were asked to train the staff at Safeway locations in their specific recipe and cooking methods, and now most of the local Safeway stores have gone that route as well.

I shop here for a few reasons. One, it’s close by. But so are Fred Meyer, Chuck’s, and Safeway. Fred Meyer is fine but always packed. Safeway is ok too. Chuck’s you can forget about because there is NEVER a place to park. My Albertsons might not have the most amazing selection but they are convenient and the employees are wonderful. Do they always have specialty items that I might need? No, but for 90% of my shopping I’ll take great customer service, ease of parking, and proximity any day.

Better prices than Fred Meyer and a faster, quieter grocery shopping trip. The workers are always attentive and helpful when I need it and know me on a first-​name basis :) Definitely way better than Fred Meyer when you just need simple groceries

Why does anyone shop here? Location maybe, pharmacy possibly. But for me the limited selection of overpriced groceries frustrates me every tune I go in here. This is the closest market to my house so sometimes I run here for an ingredient or two in a hurry, and I always tell myself «this is the last time!»

Convenient, however not a good selection of chemical free produce. Also, not much in the way of gluten free dairy free that isn’t immensely over priced. Also, it’s a bummer quite frequently the food I purchase there expires with in a day or two.
