Solid Coffee but really a great place to bring families. Caters to all ages and is like an art museum. Plenty to look at and potentially purchase all for a good cause.

I went here on a whim while I was looking for coffee in an unfamiliar city and was pleasantly surprised to walk into a huge, charming open space with a coffee shop in the corner and all kinds of fun stuff for sale. There’s also a cute book corner and lots of space to sit. The customer service is excellent. We were immediately greeted like friends by one of the managers who chatted with us for a bit. They’re a non profit and a percentage of every sale is donated to a good cause. I’m very particular about my coffee so I was wary to try somewhere id never even heard of – but they made a great latte. Really good taste and texture. Better quality than your average café. This place is pretty new so go give them some love and meet the nice people who work there.

Took my wife and son there. They have a coffee shop inside, and they also sell consignment furniture, some of which is pretty nice along with art. Coffee was pretty good and barista was friendly. What made it worth it to me was the children’s play area, they have a cool treehouse and an area to let kids crawl around.

Oh my word, just found out about this AMAZINGANDUNIQUE treasure in downtown Vancouver and had to visit! As if the amazing coffee and pastries aren’t enough, there is a FREE kid’s play area complete with the most fabulous tree-house, shelves and shelves of books to peruse, and so many home goods treasures to explore and purchase if desired. And best of all, proceeds from purchases go to local ministries. The mommies had a blast, the kiddos had a blast… we’ll definitely be back!

I mean you can’t really beat a coffee shop that gives all of their proceeds to local charities. Boomerang has definitely set a new standard for Vancouver business. I do wish it was a little more young adult friendly. It seems that it’s more gauged for middle aged woman and people who like expensive furniture. Great atmosphere though! Edit: I just heard they are going to also make a space in the downstairs for a younger crowd! Can’t wait!

Boomerang is not just a wonderful addition to the community, but such a beautiful and cozy place to hang out. I love that they’re a non-profit that gives back to the community! The staff are incredibly friendly and personable. The treehouse and children’s play area is so much fun, and clean too(what a concept, right?)! The coffee is good and they offer a great selection of baked goods from a local bakery. The consignment items are in really great shape and all so much fun to browse through.

Drew(the owners son) made our coffee, gave us a tour and answered our questions politely. The atmosphere is laid back which is nice cause their coffee is strong lol. They have all kinds of books, antiques, collectibles and art. All of which, brings in money for programs like food banks and other charitable programs. There’s a treehouse, it seems that it’s a popular spot for both business meetings and you guessed it, kids. Lol never at the same time. Come on people. It’s a great place to shop for gifts, try some tea and of course give back to the community. I highly recommend this place. Especially because there’s antique shops and restaurants nearby. Easily accessed by public transit.

I love this place! Been here twice now with my daughter(1.5yrs old) and she loves the treehouse and all the toys & books for kids to play with. I particularly love that they have dairy-free/gluten-free pastries — and they’re super yummy!

I enjoyed a delicious Mexican Mocha coffee. Great spicy chocolate. Good place for gatherings. There is a second hand furniture store connected as well.

I loved the vibe and the atmosphere of the coffee shop. The barista helping me was very nice and helpful. I love the cause for the shop. The coffee though, was just ok. It had a bit of a grainy texture and had a little too much milk for my taste.

This is a pretty cool place here in the heart of a downtown Vancouver. I have a feeling this will become my new place to sit and work while having a coffee break. I dig the repurposed barn floors, cool craftsman/industrial look.
