Very quick of service, and ready to help. Every time that I have entered quiet and quaint establishment, the quality of the coffee and the readiness of the owners to do whatever needs to be done to get me out of the room with my cup of joe has been remarkable. Seating is a bit on the small side, accommodating maybe 15 people, and at that point it would still feel cramped. However it is a quiet environment at least in the mornings that I’ve been there, & I have been quite pleased with everything offered. You will find all the typical offerings of a coffee shop on the menu, at prices that you pretty much expect to see anywhere you go, what distinguishes this place is that it isn’t one of the mass chains that you find everywhere, it is the fact that is a little local establishment trying to make their way into a crowded marketplace. Though they do not have a drive thru of any kind, as they are located within a strip mall, what they lack in immediate accessibility they make up for in service and ambiance. Give this place a try, you might be impressed.

I am writing this review for Cupidone Coffee House to clear the air concerning some previous reviews that are confusing at best. Recently this coffee house was taken over by a new owner and the quality of their product and service has raised considerably, it is one of my favorite coffee shops in all of Vancouver. In addition to sourcing local baked goods(the marionberry empanada and fresh donuts are my favorite), they also offer a variety of beverage options: teas, chai, matcha, etc. All of which are handled with care by the staff, Sergei the lead barista, has a great knowledge of coffee and it shows. This is a modestly sized, cozy coffee house, so if you are looking for a drive thru or something fast you might want to hit up Dutch Bros. However, if you have an extra minute or two for much better coffee, or are looking for a comfortable environment to sit and surf the web(free wi-fi, plenty of outlets), I highly recommend Cupidone coffee house.

I had the Éclair and it was delicious! Great local baked goods! Very friendly service and a quiet cozy environment. They also have Boba Tea, which I love, which works because the Vietnamese restaurant next store is fantastic. I’m definitely coming back and doubling up with Vietnamese to go!

Stopped in with a friend before a girls day at the spa. It was close to home and I figured we should give it a try. It was just«meh.» There was nothing super fabulous about it, and nothing that made me hate the place. My tea was just about the same as anywhere else. Staff was very matter of fact; she took my order and that was that. There were two comfy chairs we sat in to chit chat for a while; that was nice.

Store is pleasant, clean, and bright. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros for me. Bathroom is staff only. No outlets. Overall not a place to study if that’s your goal. Bubble tea was decent. May be better suited for a younger crowd.

The bubble tea is really not good. The boss or sever has some kind of careless. Not recommend

I Unilocaled at the closes coffee shop to me so I can: 1. Get some work done 2. Eat a little snack. 3. Get something delicious to drink. Unfortunately I striked out, went 0 for 3 at Cupidone Coffee House. 1. Turned on the Mac to get some work done — Free Wifi! Great. Looked for the nearest outlets, they’re all taped up with masking tape. Doesn’t look too inviting to use. 2. Do you have a bagel? Nope no bagel. The nice lady did direct me to some pastries(muffins). Nothing says I put a lot of pride in our selection than buying bulk muffins at Costco. No thanks. 3. I like to try diff bubble tea places when I get the chance. I ordered a Milk Tea — A good milk tea is made with the freshly brewed and high quality teas with the perfect ratio of milk and sweetness. Their milk tea is made by adding a «milk tea flavor power» into a mason jar and mixing hot water with it. Than add a few pumps of Torani syrup. Ehhh… It tasted like how it was made. Artificial. This ones a little difficult for me to write. I don’t feel good giving one star to a small business owner trying to do the right things. But– I figure either they fix all their issues and thrive in the future or go out of business so they can concentrate their energy on something else more successful.

So glad there’s an alternative to Starbucks around here! Great coffee from ristretto roasters, sweet owners and a calm atmosphere.

This review is for the Matcha green tea latte only. They use high quality matcha. I ordered mine extra hot with almond milk. This place is owned by a sweet Vietnamese couple. They were super excited to talk to me in Vietnamese. The décor is interesting… I’m not really a fan of it. I think this place has a lot of potential. They do serve Ristretto Roasters but I’m not a coffee drinker so I can’t comment much.

I love their bubble tea. My favorite is the avocado bubble tea. They have great assortment of non-traditional ice cream flavors. Great selections and awesome customer service.

Not entirely sure how I feel about this place yet. We initially came here to grab some boba tea and do some studying since it appeared to be a nice café with table seating. However, the plug ins in the wall seemed to be covered up with tape. So I wouldn’t say it is a good place for studying with a laptop. I did enjoy the lighting though. The café is small and cute with lots of windows to let in natural light. But since the café is so small, there are no public restrooms, which is also why it isn’t a very good study spot. You fill yourself up with boba tea, but you can’t concentrate on studying because you need to pee. Eventually we had to go elsewhere because I needed to use a restroom. Anyway, I ordered the coconut taro boba tea. That one seemed to be popular, as I heard several other customers order the same thing after me. It was pretty good. The tapioca pearls seemed a little over-cooked, but it wasn’t too bad. I tend to like my tapioca pearls more firm instead of mushy, but I like to assume that maybe I just got an overcooked batch. Service was also very friendly

Yes. I’m familiar with ristretto. I know it’s award winning flavor and you aren’t serving that up. I just tried it again out of convenience and it was horrible. Background water flavor was disgusting. …you need to filter the water. Your coffee doesn’t stand a chance with that flavor no matter what beans you use. I would have rather had Starbucks. …I DON’T go to Starbucks! I urge you to fix it so I can get some decent coffee in the area.

Really cute place. You can tell the owner is personally invested in what they are doing. I appreciate that and will probably return. When I went in, there wasn’t anyone else there… I worry if they are going to last. All drinks are buy one get one half off though! Really cute cupcakes. They have ice cream too! Great sit-down/walk-in café alternative to the Starbucks just down the road. Buy local! :)

I was really hoping to find a hidden gem here. Overall, I’d go again, but I don’t know that it would be my #1 or #2 choice in Vancouver. My car was getting serviced, so I walked to this coffee shop which was around a mile away. It was empty at 10 a.m., and over the 2 hours I was there there were 4 or 5 patrons who came in, 1 other person ordered in and the rest took it to go. It’s a new business, so I get that sometimes it’s rough to get started. They don’t have drip coffee, I ordered one and received an Americano(I think?), and the lady behind the counter handed me a container of half and half to pour in. I also had a muffin, nothing outstanding. There was one person behind the counter, and after ordering, she gave me a handwritten stamp card, buy 9 drinks and the 10th is free. She was very nice and accommodating the entire time I was there. I’m assuming she was the owner. The seating was comfortable and the internet was fast, that’s all I can really ask for in a coffee shop. It looked like there was proper seating for 12 – 16 people, maybe 4 parties. There were 1 or 2 tables near power outlets. When I left, I ordered a Nutella latte and the lady’s recommendation: a Roast Beef sandwich. There was a faint hint of Nutella in the latte, I’m still not really decided if I liked it. I LOVE Nutella, so it seems like the latte got in the way :). The Roast Beef sandwich was given to me on a foil plate. When I left, she thanked me thoroughly for coming in. Pretty good sandwich, a little on the small side, but tasty. I snarfed down on the walk back to the mechanic. The prices were very reasonable. I think if I went again, I’d try the waffle.
