Great food!!! Chicken was juicy and tender, the outside batter was crispy and coated perfectly. Service was good, employees were friendly and food came out really fast! Definitely would come back again!!!

We were wowed by this place. Finally a restaurant with quick service that isn’t Hamburgers or Pizza. All of our food was A++. The chicken hearts were my favorite, spiced perfectly!

We thought it was closed with no employee in sight. Very limited menu. The fried chicken only came in dark meat so we ordered the poached chicken and it was dry with no flavor. The sauce that was served with it was not enough to flavor the dish properly. My family is not planning to return. We all left very hungry having spent too much to justify it.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. The fried chicken was great and when I say fried chicken it is not like a southern US style fired. I have been missing and craving ayam goreng (Malay or Indonesian style fired chicken), this place satiated that longing. I will be back here many more times.
On a side note, I was surprised to learn they are owned by ginger pop, as I do not like ginger pop. But, this place is amazing!

I am speaking from growing up on Thai/​Lao pheasant food almost my entire life and I do believe the idea is genius. It’s different and fits the social life of Vancouver/​Portland just like Nong’s Khao Man Gai in Portland. It’s different, quick, and cheap to make. The décor is very humble, modern, and simple. Everything from the menu to the service is simple but is Grand. Don’t get me wrong I loved it but my expectations were not met. I know what this food is suppose to taste like and it needed more flavor, more love & heart to it as if mom/​pops would make back in their own kitchen. Not a ready plated meal to serve random paying customers. And like Italians, our culture dine as a community so we Dine BIG. The portion is perfect for lunch but NOT for that price. Price is way too high for something that simple but I commend them for capitalizing on the profit, I cannot hate. I just want the food to have better flavor and the soup was non existence. I took 2 stars away bc the taste did not meet the given price otherwise I wouldn’t mind making it a daily luncheon. Nong’s Khao Mai Gai in Portland works the same way and same price but you get a more for your $$ and the quality of the chicken blew my mind even if there is only 2 chicken plate on the menu. I’m not from the NW, I move around every 3 yrs and so I know my international cuisine. Not saying to not come here. This comment is simply the hope of capturing the Owner’s eye… Please, don’t half ass on the flavor. Be proud of the food’s cultural background… put some soul into making it especially if this is a representation of Khun Jo (Mr. JO). Then the community of Vancouver would share the same experience better than a high quality restaurant for a fair price.

Impressed with the authentic pastry choices. Starting out with some amazing cold tea, Cha Yen Thai. We had the chicken and it was very tasty. It was served with jasmine rice, chicken broth and vegetables. A very large portion size. I will be back!

I love this place! It makes me sad coming in here and there’s no one because the food is so delicious and they’ve created such a nice atmosphere! The menu is limited but honestly I get the same thing every time anyways! Their Thai iced coffee is really good. They used to make t as a slushie but now put it over ice why in my opinion was a good move! It’s delicious. I eat vegan at home and rarely go out to eat but this is one place I’ll come back to again and again. Give it a try! Thai comfort food but it sure still tastes healthy!

What s superb place in so many ways. The food is excellent. I personally like the fried chicken with the crunchy topping with sweet chile relish on rice and cucumber salad, but the pork is also great. The atmosphere is very Zen-​like with terrific pastries and slushies, teas, and beer as well. I will continue to eat here over and over. I also appreciate the recyclable to-​go packaging and bamboo silverware. Did I say this place is also great value. Simply awesome.

Really tasty Thai chicken — exactly what we were craving — really fresh and nicely prepared! Service was quick, staff was friendly and checked on us. Coming back as a regular for sure :)

Good food. The soup was delicious and simple. The rice was nicely seasoned. The pickled carrots were surprisingly good. The chicken was very good and well cooked. The dipping sauces were well done and balanced. The setting is cafeteria like, but the food is good!

Awesome Thai fast and comfort food. Great Thai slushy and tasty chicken dishes! side salads were excellent. We will definitely be back!!!

The BEST! I am LOVING this place. First time we ate here it became our favorite. I started craving the food a few days later. We have had the fried chicken meal several times. They give you samples of everything so you KNOW what you are getting.
This place would get 10 stars if that were possible!

Great food and very friendly staff. Everything is good. They also do a good breakfast! The Nutella toast is a great dessert snack or breakfast addition.

Love this place! They have a beautifully simple menu of Thai comfort food. With a small menu, you really have to execute well, and they do. I’ve tried almost all of them and I have to give a special mention to their breakfast rice soup. I could eat that every day but especially if I had a cold. Service is great and very welcoming.

Fast authentic Thai food that taste great! I recommend this this anyone and everyone who likes chicken and pork! Oh and a little tip, try the wings dipped in sauce. It’s absolutely amazing!

What?! Who’s brilliant idea was it to put a fast serve Thai restaurant in the Couv? The creators of Arawan and Ginger Pop. That’s who! RUN, don’t walk to this place NOW! Get here before it blows up and the lines mirror those on that Portlandia episode.
The menu is limited, for good reason. They focus on a few items and do them very well (and did I mention fast). I had the fried chicken as a side to my pork and rice dish. Both were as good or better than I have had in Thailand. The pastries were also delicious… as was the tea. Yes, I went a little overboard… Totally worth it!
Enough gushing over this place. Go there. You’re welcome.
