Papa John’s Pizza

I really like the consistency here and the GARLIC SAUCE! I will actually pass by our local store on the eat home from the gym, and make a special stop for garlic sauces to make sure the house is stocked! (Lol, my bf thinks I’m crazy.) Also like how friendly the delivery guys always are, they always seem to be in a great mood, even when it’s cold and raining outside!

Delivery took over an hour when the email confirmation said 30 – 40 mins then the manager laughed at me when I called to see where my pizza was. When it finally arrived it was room luke warm and the receipt said it had left the store over half an hour before it arrived. I don’t know if they need more drivers or just better management, but I could have made the pizza from scratch (including the rising time of the dough) in less time, for less money and ate it hot. If there are any other choices for delivery in your neighborhood choose them instead. There was nothing to recommend this place.

This is the only Papa John’s location in the metro area that won’t accept a free pizza coupon given to Winterhawks season ticket-​holders.
I spoke with the owner and he attempted to explain. It was some bizarro variation on «not available at all locations.»
Franchisee surely appreciates the (literally) free advertising, but isn’t willing to participate in the promotion, even after you confront him about how ridiculous it is.
I’ve actually purchased a few pizzas from here in the past. Never again.

They advertise that there are pizzas available and ready to go when you walk in. At 6:30 on a Friday evening, they were out of pizzas and it took 15 minutes to get one of the cheese «ready to go» pizzas. Better rethink your marketing plan.

The pizza is good enough, but I am very unhappy with the in-​store pickup experience. In response to the competition, they now offer a large cheese or pepperoni pizza «hot and ready» with «no waiting» for $ 5.
So there’s a guy on the corner waving his «No Waiting!» sign. There’s a big banner on the store window, «No Waiting!» And even on the menu up behind the counter is the oft-​repeated promise: «No Waiting!».
Four times in a row I stopped there to pick up a «hot and ready» pizza with «no waiting», and four times in a row the pizza was in fact not ready, and waiting was mandatory, generally at least ten minutes. I really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt after three fails, but after four, I’m done. Fool me once… er, four times…
I complained the last time. It’s not that I would mind waiting if they offered $ 5 pizza while you wait, because that is still a good deal. But I am cranked at the high-​visibility «No Waiting!» promises all the way out to the guy on the corner waving his sign when it never works out that way. Either stand by the promise, or stop promising.
Apparently I wasn’t the only person to have brought it up, as the guy behind the counter said he’s «told them over and over» that they need more pizzas ready but that the management isn’t willing to risk having to throw many away. Guess what, managers? You win, no throwing away, and no selling, either. Little Caesar’s is just up the road, and I’m back with them again. How many times have I had to wait for their «hot and ready» pizzas? Never.

It’s like the pizza came after I just got done ordering! Super duper service n delivery. Quality and taste of pizza is like no other. Pizza hut is soooo oily. Domino’s…ahhh. So so. This is the only place we are getting our pies!

This pizza place goes above and beyond! I usually order delivery, and they never let me down. The last 2 times I’ve ordered, I’ve received a follow up phone call within 2 – 3 days asking how the pizza was and to make sure that the deliver service was excellent. IT ALWAYS IS!!! Hard to go to any other pizza place now, because the experience isn’t nearly this good! WAY TO GO!!!
