Sunny’s Teriyaki Fusion BBQ

After driving by this place for a while I decided to try it. I tried to order what was in the picture on the food truck (some sort of chicken stir fry thing) and I was informed «it’s just a picture, we don’t have that.» Maybe you shouldn’t put pictures of stuff you don’t carry, but I digress…
I ended up ordering the Teriyaki beef. When I opened the box it had this deep fried thing, curry, rice, beef and noodles. I think I may have received someone else’s order? Not sure– anyway, the deep fried thing ended up being a potato and it was seriously delicious.
I’m not a fan of curry but I thought the curry was tasty– not that I can compare it to anything else since I don’t normally order that.
Finally– the beef. Flavor was good but the meat was too chewy. The noodles were really peppery and were dried out. That being said, I will try this place again and taste some of their other stuff. I wish they had more stir fry options.
Service was good. Not a super quick pick up and go type of place but they did have a number available to pre-​order which I will do next time.

Love this place! The beef and chicken are delicious and served with noodles, potatoes, and rice. Overall, a quick and delicious lunch stop in downtown Vancouver.
