I was referred to Venice Arts by a friend of mine. I was interested in finding ways to get more involved with the photographic community in Los Angeles, and this provided me with the wonderful opportunity to volunteer as an Artist Mentor to low income young people who are interested in photography. I jumped at the chance to be involved. It is a great organization and I am so happy to be a part of it.

Having been a photography/​film mentor in ’02 and ’11, I can honestly say they are doing a wonderful job at keeping low-​income kids out of trouble and teaching them valuable skills in the arts. The facilities are nice and filled top-​notch equipment. Kudos to Venice Arts!
