Jersey Mike’s Subs

The subs are really good here.
The toppings are always really fresh. My fave is ham and cheese. Unfortunately this place does not have great options for vegetarians. Apart from that it’s a nice place for a quick lunch.
Location is just perfect. Staff is friendly.

Came in here Friday Night before getting on the bus to go to work. Got the Giant Pastrami Rueben to go so I can have half when I get to work, and the other half when I have my Lunch Break. It did not disappoint both times that I ate it!
The right amount of Pastrami, Cheese, Kraut, and Dressing! It was great either hot or cold! YUM! They have not failed yet for me, and most likely will not in the future as well! Pricey for what they charge, but worth it everytime! Can’t wait to try another sandwich the next time I go in here, but may stay with the Pastrami since it’s hard to find a great Pastrami sandwich down here in FFX, and Chutzpah is not accessable to me anymore. :-(
Will I still come here? OH HELL YES!!! For anyone that has not eaten here, you must, and you will not be sorry that you did! You will be full when you leave here or if you take your meal to go, it will fill you then as well! I ate the other half of my sands close to leaving for the night, that’s how full I was from it! I feel very conflicted about Jersey Mike’s, their hot sandwiches are so tasty, both the philly cheese steak and the bacon ranch chicken cheese steak. The fillings are always fresh and well cooked, my boyfriend loves this place. So you must be wondering why only 3 stars, I cannot stand the bread. Since this is a great place and lots of people enjoy eating here, I won’t rant about my hatred of the bread, but it’s very bland and has a slightly papery feel. I’ve tried, but to me a sandwich should have equally delicious bread and fillings.
The place is always clean and their employees are super nice. As we live across the street it honestly cannot be more convenient for us. For now we’ve parted ways, but I know one day I’ll crack and make my way back just for the tasty fillings.

I have been here three times now with good results every time. The Original Italian was outstanding. Way better than anything at «that other famous Sub joint.» The Chicken Parm was only «good — not great.» Still better than «that other famous Sub joint.» The service was prompt and friendly. The prices are about the same as any Sub shop. There is not a lot of parking, but I have had good parking Karma every time, so far, and always found an open space right in front. Must be living right. LOL!
Anyway, give ‘em a try.

This is my go to jersey mikes! The staff is always very friends. I am a vegetarian and they are great with cleaning off the blade or using precut cheese to avoid cross contamination.

Came in today there was one male worker at counter who was extremely rude and unprofessional. The sandwich was ok but was not well made and didn’t seem fresh as the bread was stale. I’d definitely recommend jimmy johns across the street. Much better service and better quality food.

I am only giving this place four stars for their food. I guess this place just recently open and they need to work on their employees knowledge on how to make the sandwiches and what goes in them.
My husband and I both got different subs and my bacon was on his sub along with my extra pickles, jalapeños and banana peppers. Now we weren’t completely paying attention while they were making the subs so I guess it wasn’t their fault. However it was annoying to deconstruct part of our sandwich so we could have the right ones.
Please note the inside is completely new and looks pristine. This is prime location to the Dunn loring metro and parking is available across the street.
Also another note, if you sign up for their emails you will score a free sub on your birthday like I did today.

Parking is tricky. There is some free parking but you have to drive down a back alley road and up a ramp and it’s a little hard to describe. The food is good. It’s a typical franchise sub shop but it’s a caliber above subway.
I’m impressed with the fact they cut the meet fresh for each customer and the customer service is great!

The food is good, but not extraordinary. But the service here was amazing! The staff were super attentive, nice and communicative. Good job to JM’s for hiring the right talent.

I work across the street from this new shopping complex so I was very happy to see Jersey Mikes open!
I’ve come four or five times since the opening and the subs are always very good. I like how their ingredients (tomatoes, lettuce, etc) are set out nicely and always looks plentiful. The restaurant itself is very clean and the people who work there are very fun and upbeat.
One thing I think they could improve on is how they add the oil and vinegar to the subs. When I’ve gotten cold subs, the bottom piece of my bread has been completely soaked from sitting in oil and vinegar. I’m talking almost inedible, I’ve had to scrape off most of the bottom of the bread because of the way it sits in oil and vinegar as they construct it. There has to be a better way to do this, maybe waiting until the innards of the sandwich are complete to put the bread on at the very last moment before handing it to you and AFTER dousing the meat in oil and vinegar.

Yeah! Finally open is right. I have been a Jersey Mikes fan for years and to have one open near by is great. Fresh bread and fresh ingredients make all the difference. I love the consistency of the product. Where I use to live I frequented two different shops with no surprises. Now walking into this store it’s just like always, consistently good sandwiches made fresh right in front of you. Nicely done.

Jersey Mike’s is decent. Better than Subway (by far), not as good as Jimmy John’s (located two blocks away), unless you want hot subs (which I didn’t try as they weren’t included in the free sub promotion). It’s worth it if your on your way to the metro and are particularly hungry. Roast beef was pretty good, club sub was alright. They do seem to get confused if you customize your toppings.

Jersey Mike’s is finally opened at the new Dunn Loring Town Center! During its first week, Jersey Mike’s was already giving away freeee cold subs. Nice! Way to come in with a bang! I was really happy with the service and super speed service. Welcome to the neighborhood!
