Red Lobster

For a basic red lobster this one is actually pretty good. The reason i am not giving a 5 star is because when we first got in. it took over 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. Also the check was pretty much the same way. all in all i am satisfied with my experience.

This place was my very first Unilocal review, so I’m really excited to be writing a good updated review for it. Red Lobster has really stepped their game up since the last time I’ve visited. It must’ve been the endorsement from Beyoncé’s new single «Formation» that made them improve, and to be honest it’s what made me want to come here after not dining here for over a year. Cause hey, if it’s good enough for Beyoncé it’s good enough for me.
When I came in to meet Isaac and sat down, we were greeted by the sweetest waitress named Brandy, which to me was another good sign, because Brandy is my favorite singer (I even joked with her about this.) She was very attentive, and frequently checked on us to see if we needed anything. Really good at her job.
The food was bomb, from the bahama mama, to the cheddar «bey» biscuits, all the way to warm decadent brownie topped with ice cream for dessert. Something to be on the lookout for is the piña colada dip for the coconut shrimp because it was everything.
The next time I get a hankering for affordable seafood and good cheese biscuits this will be my to go to. I can honestly say I enjoyed myself here, and it was at a chain restaurant. *gasp*

Seated at back of restaurant near service counter with 2 tables with kids near. My wife and I were trying to have a quiet dinner to be able to perform some work while eating. After 3^rd table with kids arrived, we could not even hear each other talking without yelling. The kids were obnoxious and extremely load. We were noticeably not the only ones being disturbed. When I asked to be moved to new seats no options were presented for possible locations available. The waiter just said yes, and jumped on my suggestion for one more table further from kids.
The meal was nothing special, and no exceptional things to say. Disappointing for a Red Lobster from my opinion.
As my wife and I left after paying we both noticed an area just inside the main doors where it was quiet and a large number of couples were seated. No kids screaming and obviously set aside for such guests.

I don’t do seafood often but advertisement on the tv got me. They’re doing endless shrimp too! I had to take advantage of that. Got an ice tea for starters; sweet of course. Very nice and refreshing.
The waitress was nice, efficient, very professional. Very clean place too. Not a bad visit. Very pleased.
They’re pricey but hey, you get what you pay for. Next week? Who knows.

I’m pretty sure that this was the best Red Lobster experience I’ve had in years. This was the first time in a long time that the food here didn’t feel like a chain restaurant, and that the cook didn’t care at all about what she or he was putting out. I actually craved Red Lobster days later. Crazy! There were flies though… that’s all.

After we placed our order, we waited nearly an hour for the food to come, and finally we decided to get the food to go.
The server has been nice and helpful, it’s probably the kitchen got backed up.

This has to be the worst service I have ever had! Seriously, everything about this place is slow. Waiting for everything! Do not come here!

Will never go back! If I could give 0 stars I would. We hadn’t been in a few years and boy the place has gone downhill!!! To start with the place looks dingy as hell like no one gives a sh*t. I ordered a margarita and a lemonade and my husband and daughter ordered a lemonade and coke. We also got a shrimp cocktail. When we got our drinks they were all very watered down and I asked for a new lemonade and the new one was just as watered down. Ok, no biggie. Then the appetizer came. The presentation was piss-​poor and the item itself was even worse. They were very soggy as if they’d been sitting in cold water all day and they had a weird metallic aftertaste. I told the waitress about it and she said she’d get her manager. While we were waiting for our food I saw and heard one of the managers yelling at the bartender, which j thought was very unprofessional. My daughter heard it too as it went on for several minutes. Not very family friendly if you ask me. Before a different manager came we got our salads. I had dark wilted lettuce in my salad and when I pointed it out to the waitress she didn’t seem to know what the big deal was. We told her we were not going to stay for the entrees. The «manager» finally came with a very dirty shirt on and didn’t sound very professional. We told her what the problems were yet she did not comp us anything and we paid $ 26.58 for a bad app, 4 almost still full drinks, and 3 untouched salads. I did not leave a tip other than to advise the waitress who told us this was her first job to work somewhere else. Harsh, I know, but maybe she’ll take the tip and jump from this sinking ship.

I love seafood and although Red Lobster wouldn’t be my first choice, my seafood hating boyfriend took me here as a surprise. I’m glad we went because I actually was surprised at how good the food was. I ordered crab legs and lobster tail. What the food lacked in size was made up for in taste. Our server wasn’t the best. He seemed unenthusiastic and ready for his shift to be over, but hey, I’ve been there. The server made sure our drinks were always full so I can’t bash on him for that. After we got our food, the manager I believe, brought me a huge plate of crab legs stating mine looked kind of sad and she apologized. I didn’t even complain and she brought them out. As a die hard seafood lover, I was actually impressed.

The chili shrimp appetizer is a staple treat for me.
Their clam chowder is excellent.
You get free cheddar bay biscuits with your dinner order, all you can eat if you dine in, or a bag of 4 usually if you dine out.
The Walt’s Favorite shrimp is some of the best shrimp you can get fairly cheap, even better if you opt to add the half dozen more for a small up charge.
Eating in though for the shrimp fests that are all you can eat will make you not want to go back for anything. Its like the oil gets so funky they are cooking alllll these shrimp in its feels sickeningly saturated and you leave not feeling as good as you went in even if you eat only a little bit. Skip the all you can eat fest times, and order from the menu for best tastes.

Haven’t been here in awhile but I was told they are under new management since my last visit, the lobby is more open, some of the menu recipes have been altered a bit… Overall not a bad location, staff is kind and attentive, not to fond of some of the recipies changes though.

Mediocre service and lackluster food. Went for lunch only you wouldn’t know it. Wasn’t told about any specials or even properly greeted by the server. Server mumbled the whole time and performed the bare minimum of service. Food was barely better than Long Johns. Had the shrimp trio. Fettuccine Alfredo tasted like a microwave meal. Butter shrimp was overdone and my Walts shrimp tasted like it was reheated under a heat lamp. All in all will not be coming back for a long while. For $ 50 I would recommend going to Bonefish then here.

Visited this location the other night. Short wait to be seated. Wait staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was hot and very flavorful. The bill was high but reasonable. Will surely be returning to this location soon.

So I came here to dine out with my family and I have to say the sub par hostesses are the most disorganize and confused hosting staff I have ever seen. They were rude and looked like the didn’t even know what was going on. They had to ask how many were in our party after we were waiting for twenty minutes. Isn’t that your job to know how many peoaple are in each party and how many open tables and open menu’s are on each table!!! I find it hilarious how they answer the phone too! She was answering the phone very rudely and telling customers «I don’t know what you want me to tell you we are on a two hour wait for parties more then 5» and then telling the call lynnhaven and try.
It took are server about 7 to 10 minutes to at least greet us and get our drink order. He was very nice don’t get me wrong but you greet your guest immediately and at least tell them you will be right with them.

Well, first off don’t judge me as I’ve eaten here 4 times in the last 2 weeks! I LOVE their Ultimate Feast. Dana, my waitress for 2 of those 4 times, and George my waiter for my last visit… WERE PHENOMENAL. There was never a time when I said «I need more of…» and it wasn’t handled efficiently. Now I will say, if you don’t advise your waiter/​tress that you don’t want a watered drink… get ready for Kool aid! lol No but really, the svc is great and well as the food. I come all the way from Norfolk to partake at THIS red lobster.

Love Coming here. Food, Atmosphere, & customer service are GREAT!!! Staff really care about customers. The waiters are very knowledgeable about the menu items.

Had a blast at this location… my waitress name was Dana and she was the best! I plan on returning as soon as I could. good food and good service.

Had a horrible experience last time I had red lobster but that was at their lynnhaven location. I came here for a birthday dinner for my wife and had the best service I have ever had from a red lobster. Our drinks never got past half full and the server was so friendly! Food came out fresh and hot! Couldn’t have asked for a better time at the restaurant.

My server was excellent, sweet, and very attentive. Of course the bread was great and the sweet chili shrimp was phenomenal. I was very hesitant to even come back to this location after having two long hair strands inside my food and on my plate during the early part of this year as I was truly traumatized.

Not a bad experience at a chain restaurant
Went for a family function and the service was great the food was awesome. Was not expecting that at a red lobsters. Very crowded so be prepared took a long time for food but the biscuit are worth the wait just keep eating them to pass the time
