I agree with others who have mentioned «it ain’t what it used to be!» — but it’s still good! The rolls have good rice-​to-​topping and inside stuff ratio. I really liked the Pink Dragon roll… the salmon sashimi on top makes you feel like you ordered a roll and got sashimi too lol.
Uhh, this particular day they weren’t serving the lunch specials (the boxes)? But they were offering a free roll to make up for it. Kinda strange. The old super cordial vibe is no more at this location. The Volvo location still carries it, though if you miss it!

We dined here for my mom’s birthday and there were about 7 of us and only 4 really eat sushi.
For those that don’t enjoy the delicious taste of raw fish, there was a good selection of non fish items. My brother in law got chicken terryaki, which looked good. Full of veggies and I like how they added the sauce separately. My nephew got some noodle dish and he ate almost all of it.
For the sushi eating people, we got the Winter Special. It was 5 rolls plus an appetizer roll, and 2 additional rolls and not to mention the free rolls. Holy cow! So much food. We definitely had leftovers. It was great, the service was excellent and I just really love Yama.
We came here to try the sushi since we live close by. The service was some of the BEST service we have ever had. Our server was helpful, checked on us regularly and was accommodating. The entire staff was very friendly and nice. We also had a free roll on the house.
Before we came here, I looked at all the pics of the sushi and saw that they were all smothered in sauce. I do not care for the drenching of sauces on the sushi so I ordered all of our sushi without the sauces. Even without the sauces on top, their crab meat was mixed with other sauces that was not noted on the menu. This really overpowered the rest of the flavors of the rolls. My husband finished his rolls only because he was starving. We did not like any of the rolls we ordered. That crab mixture was in every roll, we just couldn’t get away from it. If you like saucy sushi, this is the place for you.
