Pizanos, Once the server with red hair(not sure if guy or a butch-looking girl) said we might have a seat anywhere we took notice(and offense) that literally every table in the shop was dirty with crumbs, Parmesan cheese, red chili flakes, and watermarks! There is no worse first impression. We have heard that this place takes too damn long, and that the servers there will keep you for close to two hours. Thirty of which is just waiting to get your clams out of the microwave… Yuck! After seeing on their ridiculous paddle-spanking frat boy paddle/menus my husband and I took decided to order clams after being told they were fresh and in a wine sauce. To our mutual bereavement they took upwards of 30 minutes and anyone could tell they came directly out of the freezer and into the microwave… Yuck. The wine they used too must have been some $ 0.99 Pinot Grigio special you could find in a box next to Low-Fat Gallon Milks. Right off the bat I knew they do not care about the quality of their ingredients. Tis Tis. Upon arrival of our second appetizer(bruschetta), we were once again disappointed by their so-called«fresh» ingredients resulting in flavorless tomatoes and heavy oil… EWW. Once our pizzas arrived we immediately noticed that the crust was burnt(BLACK) and simultaneously the middle of our pizza was UNDERCOOKED-DOUGHY…Yuck! The sauce on our marinara tasted like they blended Ragu with one metric tone of kosher salt. On the other hand our carbanara was not as good as other carbanara pizzas I’ve had before. The egg was overcooked and looked like they tried to cover it up by putting a ridiculous amount of pepper right over the egg, juxtapose to a light dusting over the whole pizza. Very intentionally labeled on their Unilocal page states that they are open«24/7»…and they are not! Considering the fact that Pizanos measly attempts to label themselves as a true Neapolitan Pizza eatery, when you charge someone $ 2.00 for added peperoni, as a customer I would expect more than six measly scrapings. On my way to the restrooms, which happen to not be in the same building! I was completely disgusted to find out that their hospitable restrooms were nothing more than your run of the mill truck stop piss hole. There was a dirty urinal with piss everywhere and cockroaches of all sizes crawling everywhere from the mirrors to the ceiling. Mangia!

Pizanos served me the best pizza I’ve had in California — and I’ve been trying to find a good one! Service was pretty good, and the food was great. Only negative was the«ambiance» sitting out on the patio — which was outside the store’s control. There were a lot of loud, undesirable people that regularly pass by and disrupt what would otherwise be a pleasant meal. Kind of ruined the dinner having teenage gangsters screaming and throwing things, and homeless people walking by trying to talk to us, etc… I’ll go back, just definitely won’t sit outside!

This was probably my favorite pizzeria. So sad that I live to far to go there every week. The pizza was really delicious with a taste you’ve never tried before! I ordered carbonara pizza and I can recommend you to try this out!

Oh my gosh! One of the best pizzas I have ever tried in my life. Fresh and tasty… Place was a bit small but it’s because it’s in the heart of town. We will be coming back!

We stopped in on a Saturday night and they were pretty slow. The service was good and the food was great. We ordered their house salad, baked goat cheese, and pizza. I really loved the baked goat cheese. Will be back to try more of their pizzas.

It was not my favorite. I read all the reviews and was excited to try it. I had the clams appetizer, they were very small clams and not tasty. I had the Dunbar, was ok, expected more toppings, very skimp on toppings(even the cheese). My friend had the Diavola, her toppings were also skimpy the, however the dough was good. It took a long time to be served and the waitress was very aloof(she was very busy and the only server). For a personal pie and soda for $ 18 I expected more. Overall unimpressed. Sorry bout it.

Absolutely amazing! I would give 6 stars if I could! Megan was a great server, even though we saw a bad report on her in another Unilocal review. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.

Carbonara pizza was really good and the basil cream sauce was AMAZING. We also ordered the Caesar salad and it was a nice size salad for the prize. The lady that worked there(don’t know her name but she was a brunette with a small tattoo right behind her ear) seemed like she hated her job and did not smile once. Enjoyed our food but did not enjoy our waitress… hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Holy smokes very good pizza super soft crust great toppings. Very nice staff 10 beerz on tap. Price is steep but you get what you pay for. I payed 20 for a pie and a beer. This could be an expensive habit if I lived in town. They do have a 8 buck lunch pizza/salad special. I’d like to make it through their pizza list on another visit. Beer was only 550 for a pint of stela. I don’t know what they put in that doe but it was just as soft when I microwaved the leftovers. Very good job. If you hate cheep/shitty pizza go here you won’t be sorry.

Amazing unique pizza, not too pricy, only downside is it is very cold inside. Great ambience though.

I am a pizza lover and am very spoiled when I travelled to LA or San Francisco. This corner pizzeria is exactly what this town needed. It raises the bar with its top-quality ingredients and amazing tastes. The beer selection is decent and pairs nicely with these wonderful pies. If you love a thin-crusted, fresh pizza than look no further!

Had their lunch special of a slice of pizza, salad and soda. First off, their«slice» is like half of a small/personal pizza. YES! Had the cheese and pepperoni option. Simple but well made. I asked for ranch which they didn’t have(wuuhh?) but, they have their own house creamy sauce. Forgot what it was but definitely get it. It was amazing and complimented my pizza. The prices were perfect. I will go back and try their house special pizzas. Service was a little slow. It took a while for someone to greet us at our table. Took while to get our beverages. I didn’t mind the wait time for getting our food because it was made to order :). But it took a while to get our check. Hence minus 1 star. Like I said, I’ll be back. Kudos to the use of the Pi sign in your branding.

THEBESTPIZZAPLACEINTOWN!!! If you want cheep ingredients, don’t go here. If you want your typical oven baked jus like everyone else style pizza, this isn’t the place for you. But if you want real honest pizza, you found the place. This place kills it every time. My only complaint… It’s not open on Sunday and Monday. That really hurts. I try to sleep all the way in to Tuesday and skip Sunday and Monday’s all together. It makes it easier.

I ordered carbonara pizza, goat cheese appetizer and their Swedish cake. Goat cheese appetizer was horrible. The pizza should have been named ‘over peppered breakfast leftovers.’ It was disgusting. The cake is decent 4stars. Would not recommend unless you craving some cake, but why would you go to a pizza place to get some cake? Around $ 30 for this awful food. Overhyped local spot.

Bomb! I put chocolate sprinkles on, when I got to the crust. Ask for chocolate sprinkles! It’s a Dutch thing! Prachtig!
