Five star, no doubts. Always have friendly chat with the owners and a fresh, warm waffle cone. I hit here the last day they are open for the season. This is going to be my memory of Rhode Island…

Five stars. Good enough to eat everyday. And we did. Tried the pumpkin, the coffee oreo, the maple walnut and the bing cherry. All with jimmies, because DUH. I live in Oregon with all the small batch, handcrafted, fancy pants stuff… And I would choose this every time.

So many flavors! Delicious options! Conveniently located in Downtown Wakefield. Try the coffee, almond coconut chocolate, or apple pie! All are a perfect texture and leave you feeling satiated and happy :) Atmosphere is great, staff friendly, and outdoor seating is perfect for watching the town at play. Sometimes we need to slow down the busy, and savor the sweet slow time with family or friends at a perfect stop such as Brickley’s.

I had my first brickleys experience the other day(even though I’ve been here for 3 year at URI) and it may have been life changing. It is late in there season so the line was short and service was great! I got the Oreo ice cream in a waffle cone and when I say it was AMAZING I am not kidding. The actual ice cream was so creamy and you could just tell it was homemade. There was also actual chunks of Oreo in it which is my favorite. The waffle cone tasted sweet and crunchy but did not fall apart. I may not make it back before the end of this season but I will be on the line when it opens next spring!

Excellent home made ice cream. Served in hand baked & rolled waffle cones that are wonderful. Great place in south county for delicious ice cream.

Nothing special about the ice cream but the homemade waffle cones were great. The homemade ice cream at the Tunnicliff Creamery in Springfield NY is WAY better! This place was recommended as one of the top 10 ice cream places in the US and we left not understanding why!

I always stop at Brickley’s when I am in town visiting my mother. I’m pretty discriminating when it comes to ice cream. Brickley’s has great ratio of fat and sugar. Sweet cream is my favorite. They are also one of the very few places where you can get an ice cream soda.

A bunch of flavors to choose from! Seating inside and out. No credit cards, only cash, but they have an ATM with $ 1.50 charge

I like this place. They keep it real. They keep it simple. Wakefield makes me happy, so if you add a homemade traditional ice cream shop to a down quaint village. You have a win. The prices are fair. The ice cream is tasty. You don’t feel like you are in a teeny tiny shop either. I do wish you could actually SEE the ice cream. You see the board with the flavors and you have to ask questions, all of the actual tubs of ice cream are in the back. They will give you a sample though. Butter Pecan was delicious! They have tables, benches and chairs outside to relax and enjoy your special treat. No bathroom for the public.

The smell when you walk in is amazing. Fresh cooked made waffle cones mmm I’m sold. To see them being made as you wait even better. Everything here is the same as there other locations, all the great flavors and taste of fresh homemade. Only down fall is no bathroom at this location. So kind stinks if hands get sticky from all that wonderful ice cream melting. Plenty of seating and nice on a not so hot day to sit on Main Street and take in the sights. Overall always a pleasant and enjoyable ice cream experience.

Delicious ice cream and generous portions. I would’ve easily been satisfied with a kiddie cone. Lots of flavors & approaching the place all you can smell is the homemade waffle cones which were awesome.

Great ice cream and generous sizes! A little expensive but it’s worth it. My daughter tries to order every flavor at least once every season. Hasn’t been disappointed yet!

Hard to say that I’ve ever had better. They really do a great job, and you get a lot for your money. Wish it was open year round and wish they accepted credit cards.

Best Ice Cream down by the beach. This place is on the mandatory hit list whenever we are at the beach house. Great ice cream-with tons of flavors, but the key for me is the chocolate sprinkles-I have never had anything like them. Total Game-Changer. Bonus if you have a dairy allergy like my son who always has an option with their raspberry sorbet.

I heard this was THEBESTICECREAMINRHODEISLAND, so I was excited to try it. I even made my dad, who was visiting from New Mexico, go with me(in fact, I dragged him to several ice cream and dessert shops in the course of a week), and I have to say of the ones we tried, this was the best. However, I don’t think it’s the best in Rhode Island(I’m partial to Lincoln Creamery). I will say that the service was great – well-staffed and everyone was friendly – and the cost was extremely reasonable. I got two huge scoops for $ 3.50. Long story short: definitely good, but I think there’s better.

Many people rave about this place. I thought it was just OK. Tasted the orange sherbet — too sweet for my taste buds Tasted the Pistachio — made with real nuts… good, but not outstanding. Ended up getting the Chocolate Chip — it was forgettable and nothing to write home about… The sugar cone was nice and crispy. Fresh. Nice seating outdoors. Great service by the teenage crew that works there.

This little ice cream shop is in the quaint area. It was packed inside and out but the line moved quickly. It made me feel like this was one of those special places you remember from childhood summers, even though I had never been there before. Ice cream and frozen yogurt were good. I’m not a huge dessert aficionado so I don’t have much detail to add. I had chocolate frozen yogurt in a waffle cone. My life partner had«apple pie» flavored ice cream in a sugar cone. He really liked it.

My favorite ice cream. This is the only Brickley’s I know of & is always a destination of mine when I’m nearby. I always get their hot fudge sundae which is phenomenal. I’m not sure how they make their ice cream but it’s hearty & the hot fudge is so decadent. I haven’t been when it’s busy but it seems there’s always someone behind the counter to help when I’m there. They have a few spots to sit inside & picnic tables outside. The atmosphere isn’t amazing but the ice cream quality more than makes up for it. I never have cash but always make sure to have some if there’s a remote chance we’ll be stopping by. Their on-site ATM only charges a paltry $ 1.50 fee for withdrawals if you forget cash. It’s definitely worth it.

Ehh. I had the bing cherry. It was good but not something I’d try again. We go there because they make their own chocolate sprinkles and my wife loves them. A bit pricey. I’d go back again but try another flavor.
