why does there need to be a dog bowl outside the store? don’t walnut creek people carry fiji water for their dogs already? if you’re gonna supply water for animals, clean up after them as well so your customers don’t step in their waste before entering the store.

My sister and I came by to look, we noticed that everyone was greeted politely and was offered water. It is a small store, it is very easy to notice. No one said anything to us… we can’t help but wonder… why?

I bought a small handbag from this store about 2 ½ years ago. Within 6 months, the embellishments were waring and the stitching was coming out. I took it back and they repaired it. Several months later, the same thing happened. I took it back and they repaired it. In April, I again took this bag back and called today(June 25Th) because I hadn’t heard from them and was told they would not stand behind the bag any longer that it was no longer made and they no longer had the parts. I paid close to $ 300.00 for the bag! I told them to throw it away and that I will never buy anything from them again. BEWARE when shopping at this store. The merchandise is good looking, expensive, and then they won’t stand behind it. I have a friend who has to take her watch in every six months because the stem keeps breaking. She is unhappy now too. This is a bad business move for this store.

If I had a dollar for every time this store advertised something and then when I went in the salesperson told me, «I’m sorry that hasn’t come in yet» I would be rich. It happened to me again today. This store should be called Bait and Switch Brighton. You advertise something you have not something you don’t have. It’s criminal. The parking is bad down there and you go to A LOT of trouble to get to this store simply to be told over and over… sorry that has not come in yet. Is that kind of promotion not illegal? I’m serious.

Well… I LOVE Brighton, but all of my things from them have turned brown/green. Everything. Charms, watch, charm bracelet!!! Anyone else experience this? Is that why their things are so inexpensive? I don’t know… the people are a little uptight, but I always get good, friendly service there. Just wish it was still Crabtree & Evelyn, though. ;)

This store used to be my go to gift stop for so many friends and family. However, since moving to the east bay and not being able to get to the San Jose store I’ve found other cute stores to spend my money. Yesterday I went to this store and once again felt disappointed by their crass stuck up attitudes. Ladies I may wear jeans and I may not carry my LV or wear my Rolex but try to remember I’m a costumer and you don’t know how much money is in my bank accounts. Quit looking at the door waiting for a better mark to walk in, and help me. Plus you work and I get to be a stay home mom. Shopping is my job.

A sparkly purse caught my eye from outside the store so I found myself wandering in. I checked the price tag and gasped. But not in the way you’re thinking. It was only $ 50 and I was expecting a lot more(since sparkly is so trendy right now). I decided to look around and received a pleasant greeting from an employee. She asked if I was familiar with the new line that featured the purse. Something about London maybe… all of the items on the table had a similar style and were part of this featured line. The store isn’t very big. A small coin purse with a cat on it caught my eye almost immediately. I wanted to get it as a Christmas gift for my sister, but the tag on it was over $ 50!!! I couldn’t believe it! It was really, really cute. But just not THAT cute. I went back to the black purse. Just a little bit too sparkly… I left a little disappointed.

This is a good store. My friend, Linda the Great, gives me gifts from Brighton. How great is she? She’s so great, she makes Alexander look like Alexander the Wuss! She gave me a beautiful mirror compact and pill box and they came in really cute cloth bags. I’d never been to this store, and I walk by it all the time. Their stuff is definitely cute, different from what is available at the«big» stores, very well made, and recognizable. They have a heart logo, and there is a perky silver heart dangling from each purse. They have a large variety of accessories and you could find a gift for anyone here. Some of the purses are a little gaudy, but I found a really sassy one, and just had to take it home with me! The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I had a lovely experience as well. The lady greeted me and answered lots of questions for me as well as sending me home with information on the Susan G. Komen bracelet offered this October. I didn’t buy anything that first visit, but they were helpful and gracious the entire time. I am looking forward to continuing to add to my charm bracelet, start a bracelet for my mother and finding other treasures at Brighton Collectibles. Thank you to the friendly staff in Walnut Creek!

It’s one thing to be a little uptight in a store that is full of breakable and expensive things. It’s quite another to watch every move of the people in it. We weren’t greeted when we came in, until I greeted them. One woman then proceeded to follow us around the store and considering it’s smaller than my bedroom, this was extremely noticeable. There wasn’t anything specific that I adored in the store. Nothing that caught my eye. Sorry Brighton, go watch someone else.
