The food was ok but I have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant in my life. The waiters were very unfriendly and acted like they didnt want to wait on us. Im not suprised this place shut its doors… its about time.

We just had a West Point parents club banquet. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Would go back again it’s a very classy establishment and all the people who work there were polite and nice.

Have been a patron of this place for many years. Classy Chinese restaurant with cloth napkins and quiet ambience where you can enjoy your meal and have a pleasant conversation. Friendly and attentive wait staff, good quality food and generous portion, reasonable price and extensive menu with Taiwanese favorites… Recently, I discovered the«Twice Cooked Pork» dish which is so delicious; it comes with lots of vegetable. I’m not a meat lover but I love the thin sliced tender lean pork; all my friends love it too and none of them had ever tried it before I introduced to them here. I also like the Mongolian Beef and Scallops with Bok Choy. The only thing I don’t like is the brown rice which always tastes like undercooked.

Been visiting Dragon 2000 for at least 7 years and up until recently, the food has been great and the waitstaff attentive. However, our last 3 visits have been mediocre or worse. It’s always been my favorite local Chinese spot, so yesterday, my mother took me for Valentine’s Day. They started out friendly, and the tea and wonton soup was lovely. Our meals, not so much. My fried rice had no flavor and mom swears hers was undercooked. Mom’s meat was in giant chunks(we eat with chopsticks so this does not fly) and mine had way too much raw garlic and fish sauce. Our waiter didn’t even ask us if we wanted it to go, which surprised me because they’ve always been so nice. I did notice that the guy who’s usually up front wasn’t there, so maybe that was part of it. I think that we’ll take a break from there and try a few other local spots. Hopefully, things will improve.

I have been going to Dragon 2000 for about 4 years now. By far one of my favorite restaurants. If you go order the Hong Kong style Pan Fried Noodles by far my favorite dish. If you like something sweet the Honey Walnut Prawns are good. The Mongolian Beef is one of the plates I always get. Service is great they are so polite.

Best Chinese delivery and/or takeout! On a lazy weekend, when the Chinese food craving hits you but you want to stay in pajamas, I have found ordering from Dragon 2K the best in the East Bay. It’s a family business and I enjoy the friendliness of the owners daughter on the phone alongside her suggestions. The food is piping hot, flavorful AND they allow ordering of dim sum in the evening(unusual and AWESOME). So far, I’m ordering my usual, which is always yummy: Mongolian beef, potstickers, orange chicken and sesame ball dumplings(Ohhhh so good). Will let you know any additions. Haven’t dined at the restaurant yet, but it looks lovely(when I’ve picked up my order in the past) …

Very unChinese restaurant service – they were helpful, nice and smiled! The food was pretty good, perhaps not as tasty as I’m used to at East Ocean, but certainly not bad. I tried things I hadn’t eaten before, and really liked the rice, chinese donut and shredded pork wrap. The regular dishes, like chow fun, are standard and just fine. Overall the food was 3 stars but service and atmosphere were 4 stars!

Been here a few times. Food is just ok. Nothing spectacular. Tried a few dishes and their dim sum too. Dim sum dishes are small and a bit overpriced. Service is around and attentive. I think they need to revamp their menu or hire a new chef.

Best Hong Kong style crispy noodles! Addicted to this dish. It is yummy goodness. I order it every time we go for lunch and have gotten my coworkers hooked on it too. It is a must try! I prefer to order it with tofu and vegetables.

The Chef special Chow Mein was good and fresh. The service was fast and the cost was under $ 10. And I have to say it had a varied of seafood and pork, not just noodles…

The best place for chinese takeout in Walnut Creek. I’ve been here at least a dozen times in the last 6 months and its always consistently great food. Sometimes the chow mein is a little greasy but that’s easy to overlook. They have awesome steamed pork buns and a great chicken mu shu. I always order extra pancakes because the takeout container is so large. I love the vegetarian spring rolls even though im not a vegetarian. So much better than the ones with meat that they offer, those are too salty. I always seem to stick with the basics, mu shu, chicken or pork sweet and sour, combo fried rice, chicken or pork chow mein, broccoli beef, and lemon chicken. So thats what I’m basing this review off of. I do not like chili flakes, and the one dish I tried with them was the dragon 2000 chicken and I hated it. It might be your dish if you like them but not my taste.

The staff are always happy to see us. Very polite. The restaurant is always clean and has a great atmosphere. I enjoy dressing up a little and going here on date nights with my boyfriend. Our favorites there are the Walnut Prawns and Buddha’s delight. Seriously try those two dishes and you will come back here again and again.

I’ve been here several times now and have not had a bad experience yet. Their food is consistent and one thing I really like is it’s always pipping hot and ungreasy. We really come here for the dim sum. Even though it takes like 15 mins for it to come out its worth the wait! The sui mai and hai gao are great. The Shanghai dumplings are little doughy but still enjoyable. The salt and pepper spare ribs they have are some of the best I’ve had. The mango pudding is not made there, pretty sure they just open up a plastic cup and pop it out in a bowl. All in all I will be back, it saves me a trip into the city for decent dim sum.

Best local Chinese food in Walnut Creek. The mandarin beef is excellent and their late night happy hour is a lot of fun. They have a DJ all weekend starting at 9pm.

This is one of the reviews that I would just think, should I even review it? Isn’t it enough that I checked in? I love the location of this restaurant in Walnut Creek; it’s quiet, clean, and by the creek. The restaurant itself is beautiful; the food is just mediocre. It’s not that it’s bad; it’s just not all that memorable. In fact, I can barely remember what I ate. See, this is already a waste of a review. In fact, the only thing I really distinctly remember is the fact that the spring rolls had shrimp in them, which was surprising to me.
