My wife and I hired Chris for a restraining order case. He was awesome. He knew what was going to happen before it happened and he pretty much called the outcome the first day we met.
He was very easy to communicate with and he stayed in touch via email and phone throughout the entire process.

Chris Varnell helped me take care of an issue with my drivers license. My health insurance company reported a medical condition to the DMV and my license was immediately suspended. Since I run my own business and my livelihood depends on being able to drive, my friend recommended me to Chris Varnell. This isn’t the work he normally takes on but that didn’t stop him from finding a way to help me out.
I left a voicemail with his office describing the problem to him. Before he even returned my call he had already done some research on resolving the issue. He had even contacted his network to see what the options were and the best route to take. He scheduled a hearing quickly and after reviewing my medical history he determined that there was no reason why the DMV shouldn’t allow me to retest and demonstrate my driving ability. Chris Varnell appeared with me during the hearing making sure that I was prepared and ready to present my case to the officer. English isn’t my first language and Chris helped prepare my thoughts so that I could explain clearly my case to the hearing officer.
If i would have gone to the hearing without Chris Varnell i’m sure i wouldn’t have gotten the attention and response during my hearing.
I just passed my written test and my driving test is coming up in a few days. Wish Chris could help me with that too. For those of you out there who think that they can save money and not use a lawyer, think again. Chris Varnell was so helpful and worth every dollar.

Chris is amazing! I was referred to him by a friend, and I’m so thankful for it.
He is very honest, genuine, patient with you, on top of EVERYTHING, consistently keeps you updated (he reaches out to you), and has great connections within his business. I always dealt with him directly and I had so many things going on that he was the one calling me and keeping me updated on everything which was so important to me. He handled my DUI case. I had three misdemeanors charged against me with a ton of evidence against me. The DA wanted to charge me with 10 days of jail too. Chris got two misdemeanors dropped, no jail time, no community service, license fully reinstated after 3 months of DMV school, off my record in 3 years, and adjusted the misdemeanor statement to read «driving while under the influence of alcohol» (leaving out the ‘and/​or drugs’ part). I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

If you are in need of a competent, responsive and effective criminal attorney, I highly recommend Chris Varnell. I retained Chris to represent me in responding to motions for two restraining orders against me (don’t ask!) and in both cases, he was successful in securing the outcome I was hoping for. In both cases, he was very upfront about his fees and how much time he felt he would need to spend on the case. He was also very responsive on time sensitive matters and made himself available outside of normal business hours if required to do the work needed for court. He has an no– nonsense courtroom presence and an excellent rapport with the judges in both of my cases. In one case, he was so effective in dismantling the other attorney’s evidentiary process, I actually felt bad for her (for a moment).
In short, I would not hesitate to hire Chris to represent me and nor should you.

Mr. Varnrell is an excellent attorney. He is friendly, helpful, and most importantly he is honest. He was extremely patient with me at every turn. When you’re afraid and feel overwhelmed having someone treat you with care and concern means the world. Unlike large law firms, Chris Varnell is present, responsive, and deals with you directly. Most of us do not understand legal terminology or what to expect in court and it can be incredibly intimidating, but Mr. Varnell takes the time to explain every step. A tip, If you do not already know, you want to hire an attorney who has a good standing relationships with the courts in your county — Chris Varnell does! I appreciate everything done by Mr. Varnell and count my blessing that I met him. He actually came in the day before the trial and saved the day. The other attorney was not a good fit.
