La Jolie European Skin Care

I stumbled upon this new spa in the beautiful Chevy Chase Arcade after dinner at Macon one night and decided to try it out. Getting facials is a huge treat in general but this one was really special. I opted for the aromatherapy facial which as you might imagine puts you in a relaxing state from the beginning. The space is calm, soothing and quiet, but simple — there’s not an abundance of water foundations or Yanni playing to help put you in a peaceful state of mind… it just is relaxing and peaceful in its beautiful simplicity. The woman who gave me my facial was so gentle and thorough and she really tailored the experience to my personal needs considering my age and the fact that I had just returned from two weeks at the beach. Just writing this review is taking me back to what an amazing experience it was. Four days later now and my skin is still glowing. This is my new go-​to spa. I grabbed a flyer on the way out and it appears they do have a full range of services from like waxing and eyelash tinting, etc. i can’t wait to go back.
