Food court are low quality chain counters with tons of people. This place is better than most, but nonetheless, it’s still a food court. For the number of counters, they probably should have more chairs and tables, but«m guessing that a lot of folks carry it back to their offices.

A food court that offers a good selection of vendors to try. Spacious and clean. A great place that is conveniently located at a metro station for those who are on the move. Thanks for reading my review. This review is based off of my personal experience and opinion.

This place gets five stars, not because it’s the most amazing place ever, but because it’s the only place you’ll want to eat lunch if you find yourself in L’Enfant at lunchtime. Truth is, I eat here at least once a week. Favorite dishes include: spinach pie(doesn’t appear often, but it’s good when it does), Great steak & cheese and veggie burger(from the sandwich counter), rotisserie chicken and cold mixed salads. They have a wide variety of yummy salads in the cold buffet — Korean favorites like soybean sprouts and other bits like egg salad(surprisingly tasty). The buffets are pricey, just like every other pay-by-weight place in this city, but the sandwich & rotisserie chicken counters are a serious steal. For less than $ 6, you can get a seriously tasty Philly(called a «Great Steak & Cheese»). It comes with a soda. For under $ 5, you can snag a ¼ chicken and two heaping sides. I’ve only gotten sushi once and my experience is that, though the prices seem outrageous, what you actually pay has nothing at all to do with posted prices. The sushi was mediocre. Pam is right about the lines. Bring cash and you can pay in the back a lot faster.

L’enfant plaza is a sad SAD place for lunchtime food. Probably because it’s right next to the mall. We must deprive tourists of good food so they’ll spend $$ at the overpriced museum cafeterias and food carts! Seriously though, Potomac has saved me from going to McD’s and blowing up like other governmental types around here. It also is a quick dash inside, so it’s great during rain/winter. Their string beans with chicken is actually super good in the Chinese section, as is their fried okra. None of the other asian entrees I have tried have been very memorable. And watch out for some of their food being more luke than warm. Go to the cashiers near the entrance if you want to use your credit card — they don’t have any machines in the back.
