It’s quick. There’s pita. I guess that much is true. The prices have risen dramatically in the last few years which is hard for me to justify considering the portions remain the same. But it is Georgetown, after all, and better falafel joints exist not too far off if that’s what I’m really craving. This is a place I visit for nostalgia’s sake from my student days. I’ve had the chicken shawarma pita long ago and thought it was good/lemony if a bit dry. I really like the way they season their fries. They are thick cut and plentiful. The falafel sandwich(request it with hummus in the pita as well as the tahini sauce it regularly comes with) is decent and pretty filling. It’s just not the best rendition of falafel you’ll find. No crisp exterior and bright, fresh flavors. It is heavy and tasty, however, and like most people said, is good for after a long night of(insert exhausting activity here). Pro-tip: $ 10 lunch special is served until 4pm and is economically your best choice(sandwich+lots of fries+drink). They also serve other pies/desserts but most are very dry and disappointing. They do sell interesting Middle Eastern yogurt/carbonated drinks.

A quick late night option, that isn’t totally terrible for you and it’s in Georgetown? Yeah, I will give it a try! So Quick Pita is right around the corner from Piano Bar. It’s a tiny little hole in the wall, with maybe 8 seats. The whole process is quick, so they really live up to their name. Ordering a beef shawarma, is the perfect treat for a late night snack after the bars. Some shawarmas you need to assemble yourself, personally, I don’t like that. I want all of the work done for me. Some shawarmas are enormous and take days for you to eat or you need to split among three people, but not this one. It’s the perfect size, but on the pricey side. Quick Pita isn’t going to blow your mind and be the most amazing meal you’ve ever had, but it most certainly gets the job done in a pinch!

My only experience with this place is ordering delivery, I’ve never been to the restaurant itself. The late night delivery is great, however, the last time we placed our order, one of the items we ordered was missing. We didn’t realize it until it was too late and we had already paid. Luckily, it was just our order of meat pies($ 2), so nothing major, but still. We ordered the beef shawarma sandwich(delicious), the falafel sandwich(ehh, it was ok), and spinach pies(good). The falafel sandwich, which I usually look forward to, was falling apart by the time we brought it upstairs. I agree with other reviewers that the tahini sauce should be thicker. The overall consistency of it was pretty dissatisfying. Overall, decent place to order from when you’ve got the late night munchies, but be sure to check that they have all of your items.

This little hole in a hole in a wall took me back to running around Europe. A friendly fella hooked us up with some delicious food in a timely manner. Good service, good food, but plan on getting it to go unless you are fortunate enough to grab one of the 10 available chairs. But I recommend it.

I wished there pita was more fresh. The falafel was ok. Nothing much For my opinion the tahini need to more thick. It dropped on my shorts. Overall I think they can do better

Good place. Hole in the wall, not much place to sit. Food hits the spot though. Excellent. The real thing.

Really good place to find a decently-priced meal, especially in Georgetown. It’s a small spot off of M st that has a great lunch special that spans from Noon-4pm. The pitas could be a little more bulky, but the fries make up for it. It’s definitely my go-to place if I’m in the mood for a gyro.

I love quick pita. Always make sure to stop by whenever I’m in Georgetown, best tahini sauce and recommend the falafel or cauliflower sandwich!

Don’t come here for the atmosphere or décor; it’s practically falling to pieces. But the falafel sandwich(a tightly wrapped thin pita around a tube of falafel) I had over the weekend was pretty good — nicely spiced. A little dry maybe, but the sauce in my dining companion’s dish made up for that.

Perfectly delicious«hole in the wall»(re: limited seating) Middle Eastern delight in Georgetown. My boyfriend and I love to grab this as a late night meal, and it’s always tasty. French fries are good. Chicken shawarma is my favorite!

The falafel entrée tasted really dry and borderline burnt, not worth $ 9. The cheese pie was flavorless, tiny, and dry, not worth $ 2. It was a sad meal in a sad place.

Good late night eats after a night out in DC. All their food seems pretty good. The gyro and falafel are pretty good but the quick pita special is a must try. The pita is a little stiffer than I like but still edible. The place is pretty small so you may want to take it to go but Its relatively cheap and not too busy.

Decent late night place… food is pretty good for late night. Steak and cheese — good drunk meal. The bread was soft & not the best quality. Meat was ok. Beef Shawarma– decent sandwich Never been during the day. Just after 1am. Just ok.

Ah, Quick Pita — my go-to place for late-night dining as an undergrad in DC, and still going strong two decades later. After a long road trip down from NY, I found everything in Arlington closed, so I called ahead for take-out. I was definitely in the mood for«a bit of everything» from memory lane, so stuffed grape leaves and a mixed platter were the first things I asked for. I saw halloumi on the menu, and Quick Pita were nice enough to be able to provide just the cheese as a side instead of the full sandwich. They quoted me 10 – 15 minutes, and at the 15 minute mark were just wrapping each item individually so that nothing spilled in my car on the way back to my hotel. Excellent attention to detail, and greatly appreciated. An extra bonus is that Quick Pita participate in the Skymiles Dining rewards program, so if you’ve registered your credit card(s) there you’ll get extra Delta miles for eating here. Looking forward to being back in DC and enjoying this favourite comfort-food spot again. They are as good as they’ve always been, and that’s always been world-class.

My friends and I wanted something under $ 10 in Georgetown, so we came upon this Kabob place. Even the guys working there said they were one of the few non-chain places that offers something at that price in this neighborhood. The flavor was okay, the portion was okay– given what you’re paying for, so a place to stop if you want to grab a quick bite and spend a little.

Good options for vegetarians. The combo for $ 8 for a sandwich, fries and drink, totally worth it. Fries are pretty good in quantity and taste great. I would say the fries are as good as the ones at Five guys. Cozy, homely place. Hummus is great. Dessert, Baklawa tasted great with optimum amount of sweet, not more not less.
