Great café by the town square. Large selection of sandwiches — all names after famous person.
My turkey sandwich is Sophia Loren! There is also prepared salad and soap. A coffee bar also. Good vibe.

This place has amazing homemade soups and tasty sandwiches. We came in at 2:50ish on a Monday. Unilocal’s hours said 3:30 but I quickly learned they were wrong. The barista greeted us as we came in and said they were about to close and we could only get an order to go. When in line at the food counter, I clearly heard an employee complaining about us and another woman who had just come in.
Now, I had I known that they closed at 3:00PM, I wouldn’t have come in– I even said that and apologized to the staff. That being said, customers shouldn’t hear employees complaining about them. It was uncomfortable.
On to the food — delicious. A large sandwich easily feeds two people. The soups are homemade and super tasty. Though I wanted a difference one that had already been thrown away, the soup I had was very good.
All in all — I’d recommend… just don’t go close to closing!

Great potato soup, very creamy. Tried several sandwiches and they were all great except the bbq chicken. Sauce was too sweet, almost ketchup like.

Quaint little lunch place with generously sized wraps. Cool downtown atmosphere and nice coffee drinks. Great homemade lemonade and giant cookies! Perfect for a small lunch group or date or to go. Just wish they were open for evenings, too!

Cute, clean & quick! Simple but delicious breakfast. We were traveling through & missed the exit for Starbucks & found this little gem. Will stop here every time we pass through Watertown.

First time here. I was looking to get a coffee after a morning walk along the river. I was pleasantly surprised with Vito’s. They serve a breakfast sandwich and many lunch items. I will definitely be back. Oh, and the coffee was good too. There are 3 choices of coffee in airpots plus choices of many craft coffee drinks like lattes and such.

I work very close to Vito’s and go there often, the service has been wonderful every time and the food is delicious! Fresh ingredients, no processed crap, great ambiance. Vito’s offers culture and variety to Watertown and I hope that they stay open for many, many years to come.

Only problem is finding a close parking space, but I tell you it is worth it to visit!!!

Just drop in and you won’t regret it. I have tried two sandwiches so far and they are pretty much best in this area.

When i came in i felt it was a bit overly complex to order, and had to ask the cashier. I thought the side salid was overpriced, but the sandwiches were on par. with typical gourmet sandwich/​café shops.
There was also this really annoying fly buzzing around, but i don’t hold it against the restaurant.
The Venus de Milo (hummus sandwich) was very good, I like the pickles outside the paper, as well as the wide walled serving trays. the art/​decco is very appealing, and the tone is nice, however a few of the florescent light bulbs could need to be replaced (the one above the salad cooler has a fast dim flicker)

I’m kind of obsessed with this place. I think I’ve tried almost every single sandwich & wrap they have to offer– and have never been disappointed. Ever.
Their buffalo chicken chowder is STUPID good. ;) Love all of their unique coffee drinks as well. One of my favorite lunch spots in Watertown for sure.

sandwiches are generous and delicious, very creative menu. The place is clean and the employees are quite rude!!! it is a little bizarre to order and then go to another counter and pay but it’s fine. I came at around 930 the fresh juices weren’t displayed yet nor was the soup, I wanted soup.

Vito’s really is the epitome of gourmet sandwich shop. The sandwiches scrumptious and generous (by that I mean ginormous lol), the soup delicious, and the atmosphere elegant if not a little snobby. If you want a fresh alternative to subway or jrecks it’s definitely the place to go. It’s location next to the paddock club and on the square also make it a great place to go for visitors who want a feel for Watertown.

Vito’s is a superb gem here on the square. It may just be a soup/​sandwich/​café place but it does the job excellently.
Clean roomy interior, decorated with beautiful local art. Exactly the place to have lunch with friends or just drink coffee while surfing their free internet.
Also, the internet tested the fastest in Watertown so far, with download speeds over 5mbps.

Stopped for a quick lunch while in Watertown on business and was so pleased to find this gem. Ate a half sandwich and soup and both were incredibly flavorful and reasonably priced. The turkey meat tasted so fresh. Would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Everything is so good and so fresh! I definitely love this place. The staff is so friendly and the place is amazingly clean. Great lunch spot or morning coffee spot. I ordered a simple hot cocoa and sugar cookie iust to start my day off right today and I was just blown away by how great the service, food and atmosphere are. Definitely my new favorite.

I love Vito’s! Always friendly, made to order service and they get to know their customers. I know it’s ‘just’ sandwiches and soup, but their food is amazing. I find myself craving a sandwich, when I’m more of a sweets person any other time.
I asked the owner where they source their lunch meat because it’s so moist and tender, and they roast it themselves! And the juices from roasting go into making their yummy soups. When it starts to warm up I’ll definitely be trying some of their grab and go salads that look awesome as well.
Additionally, they have an actual espresso machine and know how to use it! –In Watertown that’s a find.

Finally, a top notch place to grab lunch on the Square! Vito’s brings fresh, original food to downtown Watertown. This colorful and inviting restaurant is the perfect stop for a quick delicious bite to eat. On top of a wide selection of fresh made soups and sandwiches, Vito’s offers a coffee bar that blows any of the local java chains out of the water. I’m really looking forward to making this place a regular stop.
