The have the Worlds best nachos the cheese melts in your mouth and all the sides are Awesome! Their food is big enough so you have leftovers and you go home full Sure it takes a while to get your food but that happens the best thing is you find a parking spot everywhere it’s real fast also ordering takeout is Quick so you get amazing food

Awesome Queso. Awesome Fajitas. Shrimp was huge, beef was fork tender and chicken was moist. I wish it were closer than a 4 hour drive.

On our way back to San Antonio from Dallas, we decided to eat Mexican food. We looked up reviews and decided to stop by to try it. Although the outside was somewhat old we walked in anyway. We were sat immediately and placed our order right away. The chips are amazing. I tried the all time favorite, the shrimp Nachos. I got the small and still ate less than half because it was a generous portion. The food was delicious and if we lived closer we would without a doubt go back!

I’m not sure why people over rate this place. Obviously they have never had real Mexican food. The food it’s like they picked it up from the trash and put it on a plate.

I really cant say enough good things about this place. Food. Is amazing. Everything I have tried here I like. Every menu item has a large quantity of food. My favorite is the fiesta fajita it is fajitas with chicken, beef and 3 large shrimp and it is enough food for 2 people. I also like the queso with taco meat added in. This should be a menu item. The service is top notch every time. I cant make my glass go empty before someone refills it. Other restaurants need to take a lesson from these guys.

After having such bad luck at the last 2 mexican restaurants we tried to eat at today, it was a pleasure to walk into this place, knowing we’d be served respectfully. My choice was the«Famous Campuzano Nachos». The serving size is massive! $ 20 is the right price for these nachos. A tower of chips with queso, chicken and beef fajita, quacamole, sourcream, grilled onions and peppers, and a few other toppings. It was great, and my leftovers will be even better.

This whole time I’ve been passing by this place and missing out on some delicious food! It was late at night and I was craving Mexican food so I decided to try this place out. I ordered the Signature Diablo Shrimp. OMG! It was SO good!!! I think my stomach shed tears of happiness after eating that. The shrimps were huge and so flavorful. Rice was rich, had sautéed spinach and onions. The dish is supposed to be spicy but it wasn’t, which is okay with me. My food came with a scoop of guacamole, which was really good also. I’m not a fan of guac but there’s was good, tasted like an actual avocado. Food also came with a huge bag of chips and a side of dip which was okay. SN: the staff was very friendly :)

You know this is the first time I have done a review on here, I’ve been to a lot of nice places also a lot of really bad places but this place is by far the best Mexican food restaurant that I have been to yet. From the out side you might just keep driving but pls don’t let the OUTSIDE fool you the inside is nice, the food and service are phenomenal, my wife got the campuzano dinner plate with three enchiladas that you can mix and match, which included a cheese, chicken and spinach. I got the shrimp nachos that where AWESOME !!! And you know I’m a pretty big boy and they filled me up . We had several bowls of chips and salsa as well and the chips came out fresh and hot everytime. I would highly recommend this place for sure !

Best Mexican food in Waxahachie. The Campuzano nachos are ridiculous. The only complaint would be that the fajita meat should be cut into smaller pieces. The salsa Verde is so delicious, but be careful because it is spicy.

Great food! Love the tea with lime, they are the only place around that does this without a special request. The small nachos is HUGE! Big enough for three or four people. Fajitas at great. I usually add the shrimps. One of our favorite Rex mex joints. The patio is great!

Great food and great margaritas! But service lacked a little… I let the server know that we were in no rush being our last day of vacay and to bring entrees later so that we may enjoy our drinks and appetizers and relax! That didn’t happen so we felt rushed in that sense. Other than that the food was delicious!

So the three stars is definitely not against the food, but rather the parking lot. You’ve most likely seen my reviews of the Cedar Hill and Midlothian locations but the real ‘beef’ I have with Waxahachie is their parking lot. We all know that Campuzano’s does very well. There’s absolutely NOREASON to have a dirty, dusty, gravel, pothole-infested parking lot that seriously damages car when entering. I would almost rather park and walk then attempt to deal with pulling into the lot. It’s just an annoyance that they haven’t done anything about it…

Love this place! Come here about once a week and the food is always great. Having visited the Dallas location I wasn’t impressed but this location is much different. Their portions are large and they have some great margaritas!

Great food! Our whole family of 6 ordered different dishes and we loved them all. Spicy salsa and queso like it should be. A little pricier than most Mexican places, but definitely worth it. Glad we stopped here on our visit to waxahatchee for the Scarbourough Renaissance Festival!

Best fajitas ever! We always take the whole family and sometimes guests and have no problem feeding EVERYBODY on the combo fajitas for TWO! 4 – 6PEOPLEFOR $ 25!($ 30 our so if you include drinks) Keep in mind, NOONE in my family is small or petite. So believe me when I say, this is the best deal in the whole state!

Stopped in for late lunch and it was very busy which was a good sign, although the ambiance left a lot to be desired. I opted for the Small order of the Campuzano’s Famous Nachos(their version of supreme) as my entrée and when they brought it out I think I heard a «back-up beeper» in my head. My god it was a lot of food. Too much, to be perfectly honest. BUT savory nonetheless. Service was a-ok and overall, I think I would probably return. But next time with a «small» appetite!

Campuzano is pretty standard Tex Mex. Not bad, but not great. The enchiladas are usually dependable. So is the tostada(but how hard is it to make a tostada anyway?). They have a loaded nacho plate which is ok. They have Pacifico beer, which helps bring me back. The service can be either great or crappy, or any place in between.
