This is my favorite Mexican Food Restaurant in Waxahachie, and I’ve been to them all. They have the best queso, the white cheese; not at all the Velveeta the other person referred to. Always quiet, low key, family operated type place. Fresh food, great prices. My little girl and husband LOVE their salsa. I’ve tried several different dishes, all excellent. They’ve been here for a while, and worth a visit. They keep a nice, clean place. Enjoy!

I don’t know what crack the other two reviewers are smoking but this is NOT your typical Mexican restaurant. If I wanted heated up velveta cheese for queso I could have gone to the store and stayed home. The food was mediocre at best and the décor was a step up from eating out on the curb… seriously. The service was not much better. We had to keep requesting things and dishes were dirty. In my opinion the place is a no go and you should eat someplace else. Price was on par but not for the quality. $ 25 for 2 adults and one child.

My husbands favorite Mexican place in town. The owners are also the waiter/waitress. If you’re looking for something with no wait to get a table and low prices this is your place. The food is very flavorful.

I had the chicken fajitas, they were excellent and an ample amount of food. The prices are reasonable and the service was great. The salsa was different than what I’m used to, but I live in the Seattle area so I’m guessing this is better. One of my friends had the nachos. Looked killer, each chip had toppings.

Good food, but what draws us is the great prices, quiet atmosphere, it’s small and less known, and the family that owns it takes as good care of you as if you were in their house as guests. Shrimp Enchiladas are my favorite. It’s not the best tex-mex, certainly good though, but like I said, we go for the service and the quiet location.
