I wish I can give this place a negative star. The service here is absolute crap. The manager or store owner are never there to answer any issues with clothes being missing, unclean, not theirs or just not done on the time the receipt or employees say. The employees are probably the nicest people there to be honest and I feel horrible bringing my issues for the manager, to them. So for their stressful work days: Store manager, Karen Cusick(Short blonde with blue eyes and barely any fat on her bones):(973) 865‑8546 Store owner, Bill Null:(908) 578‑7200(Business in wife’s name if he denies)

I’ve been going here for quite some time and in about two dozen visits I had one issue with lost clothing. I now know to keep my dry cleaning tickets whenever I go. I’m hoping that it was just a freak thing, though reading some of the reviews it seems like it happens from time to time. The staff are nice, though there were two occasions in which I saw the manager berating one of the staff members in front of customers. Quite unprofessional! They close at 6:00, would also be preferable if they were open an hour or so later. This place is convenient for me and for the most part, my clothes have come out neat and clean.

The only good thing about this cleaners is the staff. They are nicest people. Unfortunately they work for a terrible service. Lost clothes. Dry cleaning not ready for a week and a half. The owner Bill will tell you anything to keep your business but he fabricates the truth. I tried to stick with it for the staff but in spite of the credit on my account I will no longer go here.

This place is garbage– you pay for what you get, apparantly. They«lost“a very nice Blazer of mine, when I called to discuss with the Owner, he was rude, denied the issue and had no explanation. Despite reading awful reviews, i tried for myself and needless to say I will never go back after they lost my item and i am not happy with my other clothes. Bill(owner) is a panzy. My other clothes smell like glue-not clean at all. I will be bringing my bussiness(and clothes) right across the street! :)

If I could rate negative 5, I would. Stay clear of this place. We have requested payment for lost clothes at least six times over the last six months and all we have heard is that a check will be in the mail… This after numerous back and forth conversations. We ran into people experiencing the same issue. Lost clothes and issues galore. Find another place!

I just moved to Wayne and researched inexpensive dry cleaning options, and came across $ 1.99 store. The reviews were not were, but I gave it a shot anyways with my everyday clothes that I just needed to dry clean. I became a regular. For the price you pay, you get a solid service, I have never been disappointed with the results. If they couldn’t get a stain out, then a higher priced dry cleaner would not be able to get it out either. I have been going for quite some time, and will return. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It’s worth checking out for yourself.

They lost my clothes, and after multiple visits, there was still no resolution. Had to call the police(found out they are there regularly) The owner is very arrogant. Check out all the reviews on-line. None are good. Their liability for lost or damaged goods is 10x the service cost, and only in store credit. $ 100 shirt ruined, and they’ll offer you $ 19 store credit(real value is about $ 5)…after you show the original purchase receipt… and file a police report. No thanks! Never again! If I could only give them 0 stars.

Don’t use this place unless its an emergency, even then maybe risky. The price is right but you get what you pay for. They do a horrible job dry cleaning. Also shirt laundering is awful.

I normally only write reviews on restaurants, but I had such a disappointing experience here that I felt compelled to write a review on Unilocal. The big selling point of this place is that they will clean any garment for $ 1.99, any coat/jacket for $ 5.99. This is more than half off the regular prices you will find at other neighborhood cleaners. It’s cash only, and they state that all work is done on premises. The problem is that they don’t do a very good job. Even if you are paying half price, you’re throwing your money away if your clothes come back to you dirty. I dropped off a pair of pants to be cleaned. I got it back with the same stain still there with a bunch of plastic pins/tags punched through the area of the stain. I was disappointed. I took a wet baby wipe and was able to remove most of the stain. After doing so, I dropped it off at my local cleaners where I noticed that the press was done so rough or too hot that it created waves in the fabric — I’m not sure how to describe it, but it’s possible that my slacks were damaged! My poor experience may not be typical of the service that this place provides, but needless to say, I will not return. Overall, it’s probably not a bad place if you’re just looking to freshen up your dry-clean only clothes, but if you’re looking to remove a stain or clean your favorite clothes, I would go somewhere else.
