Holy chicken friend steak. Best place to go eat after hours. Forget IHOP and Waffle House. The portions and prices are so awesome you’ll need a wheelbarrow to haul your full ass out the door. It’s a good thing there’s a hotel near by cause you may be so full that you need to take a nap before you drive home.

For a truckstop restaurant they were excellent, I had the breakfast buffet and it was delicious.

Recently visited this restaurant with my mother and younger brother. The atmosphere was nothing special. But what is to expect from a restaurant built in to a convenience store and a Poppeye’s? I did, though, enjoy the music that was playing. 60’s and 70’s music. I saw the buffet and it was definitely lacking. I walked down the entire buffet to get to our table and I didn’t see a single thing that looked appealing. The menu was very diverse and offered so many different foods that it was hard to decide what I wanted. I like that. I hate small uninteresting menus. I ended up ordering a burger. *big surprise* The burger was good, but nothing to rave about. A bit dry, but good. I’d buy the burger again if I ever wound up back at this restaurant, but I’d never visit this restaurant by my own choice. The waitress was a bit stand-offish and un-personable at fist. I initiated conversation with her and she opened up. Turns out, she was actually pretty sweet. I think our meal cost us $ 24 or $ 25 dollars total. Not too bad.

Best salad bar ever! Fresh, cold and chilled pewter dishes to keep it cold at the table. And warm skillets for the entrees.

Haven’t been here in a good while but nothing has changed other than the décor… food, service and seating was excellent! Manager Jessie oozes southern hospitality and James from the store was a joy. Idk what the tall gentleman’s name who cooked our food, however, thumbs up sweetie. We are looking forward to our next experience!

Average Truckstop food with above average wait staff. Prices are average for a truckstop. Of course they realize they have a captive clientele. If there was a Cracker Barrel or another restaurant within walking distance, I would have gotten my morning exercise and gone elsewhere

The décor is beautiful and elegant. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and savory. Prime Rib was the Thursday night special, was wonderful. The other special we ordered was the Pork Tenderloin steak that covered the entire plate. To save calories I did not have the gravy and it was delicious. As dessert we bought some fudge and hand dipped. chocolates to take home. The salad bar is remarkable and menu items have diabetic options which is hard to find. This place is amazing. We are locals and plan on visiting more often.

Went there for the Friday night«seafood» buffet. It’s a joke! All they had was baked fish and popcorn shrimp! Said they discontinued peel n eat shrimp as well as the crab legs!!! Price was still $ 13.99! What?! The best thing I had was the roll.

Had a patty melt with mixed veggies as a side. The rye bread on the sandwich was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was soooo good. The veggies were perfectly done with just the right amount of crunch. Service was great despite their being busy. This is a very nice location. They also have a Popeye’s Chicken here.

This is a must stop for me when I pass by. My go to meal is the corned beef hash, eggs over easy, hash browns and rye toast. Dont forget the blackberry jam(seedless). The service is always spot on with a veteran wait staff. Yes it is a truck stop but if you get the chance stop in for breakfast and small talk with the locals.
