My wife and I stopped here for what we thought we be a quick, and yet healthy lunch. I got the lasagna, with a side salad and mooseberry tea, and she got a salad. OMG there was a woman behind the register who seemed to be overwhelmed and not sure what to do or how to ring things up. Im not surprised though because I saw only one other employee who was doing to make deliveries. so she was the only one wto ring people up and be the waitress and the same time. Anyway, my lasagna was actually the worst I have ever had in my life and I eat a lotta lasagna and italian food. It was barely luke warm. with little no to red sauce on it. When cutting into it omg talk about eating chalky, rubbery, cold bla… with absolutely no sauce at all when completely cut into anywhere, no. no cheese… just total terrible. i let the women know when she asked how is everything I said I still haven’t gotten my tea yet, and she said okay give me just a minutes… well after she went and waited on 2 other tables, and brought them their drinks. i still didn’t have mine yet… I waited and waited and never did get my tea until i went up to the register because I was going to get my money back… I was finally brought out the tea and it was not even worth waiting for… My wife got a specialty salad which should have come with fresh tuna on top but instead it was tuna out of a can. and her drink was bad too… It total waster of 25.00.So horrible experience all around… and beyond over-priced…It ya come upon this place… keep on going to the next restaurant and save your money, time, and stomach!

Ordered the wedge, they gave very very little blue cheese, bacon for the big piece of iceberg wedge i received. On top of it all the lettuce was soggy.

I came by three times. I am often satisfied! The portion matches the price. We loved meatball salad! asian salad tasted great. Also I tried their chicken salad wrap. It was good. I liked when they added grapes in it as it brings a great balance. Panini was good. I think I like their salads better than wrap and panini though. I give them 4 stars because I know they are relatively new. In no time, the place will get better with its décor, the seatings and its service.

The place is nothing to look at. DIY country kitch with tables for two people only. So if you are a group of 4 you have to sit at two small round tables pushed together. Definitly not ideal. BUT the food is really very good. I got a super fresh Asian salad and my hubby got the Cuban. We split some broccoli cheese soup. Awesome place for take out.

Great service and quality. Both times I’ve been here I have left full and happy. Their pasta sauce(yes I said pasta), is sweet and fresh and delicious! The salads are huge, you will be taking home a ton! The menu is on the wall behind customers which is awkward because you can’t not make eye contact. You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. Great workday lunch spot for my co-workers and I!

Really fresh, delicious and I was happy to see they don’t charge an arm and a leg. The service could definitely be better. The people who work there seem to be mostly high school or college kids who act like they don’t want to be there and it shows in their service

I was heartbroken to see a sign in the window sayiing CLOSED in the window of their last address up the road. Then discovered they reopened in Baytiowne PLz. Stopped by today to order my favorite Walnut Salad w/Grilled Chicken. It was sooooo good. The chicken just melted in your mouth. Cooked to perfection. OMG. I no longer work near there or I would be back everyday. They are the best. Food is the freshest.

Today I am annoyed. I stop in at Salads Etc. at least once a week for the food, never for the service. I’ve been a little put out by their customer service before, but today was especially annoying. It was 12:15 when I got there, the height of lunchtime, but I stood at the counter for a few minutes and finally called hello into the kitchen before anyone acknowledged me. Another minute went by before someone took my order. I was told someone would bring me water because their water jug was empty. No one did. And finally I had to wait 20 minutes for a simple wrap. Twenty minutes at lunchtime, in a strip mall. Good thing I had more than 30 minutes for lunch. I’ll keep coming here because the food is good. I just wish they’d get it together and even smile at a customer once in a while.

I am never disappointed with the quality of the food! I like to pick up something to go but get tempted by the extras.

Field green were soggy old and wilted. Inexperienced staff. To cold inside. Bit overpriced. Feel like it just ate a rotten salad. Yuk! Won’t be back.

Checked this place out after the gym nearby; surprised the«etc.» included paninis. Honestly, I expected it to be the type of place where girlfriends go to get their light brunch on with mixed drinks galore. It’s actually the standard café set-up, not scaring any demographic away. I ordered a panini and used the Unilocal code for a free smoothie to the cashier, who wasn’t the warmest. She got confused and deferred to her manager(naturally), who was friendlier and more with it. Still, it was unclear whether I was supposed to stand there to get cashed in, so I sat at a table for 5 minutes until the manager asked if the cashier had cashed me in. Derp. Got the Boulevard panini, which was solid. The sun-dried tomatoes hit the cheese to meld with the turkey just right. Mixed fruit smoothie was more crushed ice than fruit, but eh. I’d come back for these paninis for sure.

Love this place. All I can say is hands down best panini in town. Here’s a pic of my daughters first bday party catered by salads. Bonnie is the best!

The good: I enjoyed my panini and the pasta salad that came with it. The Cuban was piping hot, the bread had the perfect amount of crunch and there was a good amount of meat and pickles which I loved. My husband ordered the grilled B.A.L.T. and thought it was just OK and that the best part about the sandwich was the bread. To be fair, I took a bite of his and I thought it was pretty good. The bad: We placed our order and the young cashier wasn’t friendly. I went to find a table(pretty much all of the inside tables are small and only seat two people) and every single one was dirty. Tables that needed to be bused, crumbs, greasy finger prints all over the black table tops, salt and pepper shakers were sticky. I would understand if it was incredibly busy but there was only one table occupied at the time. Normally I wouldn’t care too much but I had my young daughter with me and she has her hands on everything– she would lick the table she had a chance. The lack of cleanliness was a big turn off.

I loved this place! I liked the décor and the staff was really friendly. I ended up getting a Mediterranean Chicken Panini and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came with side of pasta salad and some fresh fruit. I can honestly say that the panini I ate was probably the best panini I’ve ever eaten; it was that good! The person who came with me had the black bean hummus panini and he enjoyed it too(although we sampled each other’s and we both agreed that mine was the better of the two). The only criticism I can really think of is that it’d be helpful to display the food menu/chalkboard in way that was a little easier to read. That’s not a big enough issue where I’d take any stars off, however. I see other people’s reviews that are very critical but for me, this place definitely warrants many more visits!

I have been three times now and so far so good. I think the quality is not consistent with some of their items though which is why I can’t give it a higher rating. I have had their beet salad twice and both times the salad was good. The beats were very dry the second time around but the dressing helped. Great flavors with the walnuts and blue cheese. The balsamic dressing is really really good — I will give them that. The consistency issue lies with their meatball appetizer. The first time we had them we ordered all three flavors to try them out(marinara, cheese or buffalo sauce). The first time they were amazing– tender and juicy and the sauces were very diverse. The second time I ordered the meatballs were really tough. We had ordered them both times via takeout — once they were hot and ready to eat — the second time they were cold. Luckily we were home and I was able to heat them up before serving. I would expect hot items, in takeout, to be hot upon pickup though. I sat in the restaurant for that takeout order so there was no delay in ordering vs. pickup. I want them to make it — The salads and panini’s are really really good. I just hope they can keep up the consistency so they have return customers.

We have enjoyed this terrific place several times. So happy there is a healthy alternative in Webster. The staff is pleasant and attentive, the choices are great and the food superb. If anything the portions are almost too big, but that’s fine. They are quickly finding a dedicated following. Highly recommended.

My sister and I just tried Salads Etc. and we were both pretty disappointed. My sister got the Southwest Salad and I got the Barley Lentil Salad. We got them to go because the atmosphere wasn’t really somewhere we wanted to sit down and stay. After paying a good $ 10 each for our salads were were expecting them to be fresh. You get a fair amount of food but not up to the quality standard we were hoping for. My sisters Southwest salad came with pepper jack cheese on it that had visible mold. My Barely Lentil salad had raw broccoli on it that had brown spots all over them. Needless to say we didn’t finish our meals because we were grossed out. Good news is this place is fairly new so hopefully they will turn things around.

Was always dying to try this little place when it was over by Hegedorn’s then it disappeared. Now I see it popped up again in Baytowne Plaza. And it’s FABULOUS… stopped in on a Friday to pick up a salad for lunch and glad I did… the Asian salad I got was delicious. Fresh salad ingredients and they don’t skimp on anything, and it came topped with a warm, grilled, sliced chicken breast on top with a Ginger Sesame dressing. It’s a small place… you order at the counter and they will bring it to one of the dozen or so café tables they have. I stopped in today with my sister for lunch and we both had an order of Arancini with a Walnut salad(fresh spinach, Gorgonzola, cranberries, candied walnuts, balsamic dressing). Both were delicious… came with chunks of fresh baguette that was freshly baked and very good. The warm Holiday Spice Tea hit the spot on a freezing day like today… I highly recommend. We’ll come back to try the panini’s next.
