Citgo Rt 59 & 64

Avoid this place.
The car wash is a rip off, the equipment is in poor shape and if the equipment doesn’t work it is «not their fault». They will not refund your money.
It is a miserable place run by greedy people with an uncaring unfriendly staff.
There is a new Shell opening across from them which I hope will put these crooks out of business.

Usually un-​friendly staff and the station is CONSISTENTLY over-​priced on their gas by around 10 – 15 cents over their nearby competitors.
Yesterday (January 23, 2016) their gas was 1.79 per gallon. I went 2 miles further to the Marathon station on Washington St. in downtown West Chicago (just prior to crossing the railroad tracks — go West on Washington St. from Rte. 59) and paid $ 1.65.
Went in to this Citgo a few times and the staff is usually unfriendly, especially if you ask for help regarding Lotto tickets.
I don’t recommend stopping here, unless you stop at Subway (which is attached) or are in dire need of gas because you are running on fumes. There are gas stations across the street or a mile or two down Rte. 59 each direction and their gas prices will be lower.

The workers aren’t very friendly, it’s not super clean, expensive prices and it smells funny.

Horrible gas station, every other pump always seems to be out of order. Car wash isn’t open everyday, which is inconvenient when you need a car wash. After you slide your credit card to pay, the pin pad asks so many questions it’s ridiculous! It feels like I’m answering a questionnaire or something.

Stop for gas, if you dare, but not for anything else. Coffee pot is often empty or old. Donuts are stale or day old often. Shelves are not well stocked. Attendants are inattentive, surly, and impatient. Pumps are often broken for weeks on end.

I won’t be returning to this gas station — I went here and got a car wash and my car got stuck and as I sat there blowing my horn for help no one came — I had to get out of my car and walk inside where 3 gentlemen are laughing at me and telling me to punch my code in the machine (which I did) then they say «well its a machine not our fault» — wrong its your machine and its broke so it is your fault… BEWARE — I have also seen so many spoiled items on the shelves I won’t even visit the Subway located inside for fear of the food they are serving!
