There selection is great for men, women, children and home décor!
Great customer svc!
Great sales!
Unique selection!
There show sale room is a must!
Free alterations and they order clothes from another location or factory if they don’t have the item in your size!
Clean restroom but probably needs a remodel.
Convenient parking ramp!

Love this store, and particularly that they’re not open on Thanksgiving! They have great customer service, and they even wrap everything for free! Nice perk. Yes, they’re more expensive than a lot of places at the mall, but they have nicer stuff in general. It is a great place to buy a nice gift. Never overly crowded, and there is always someone there to help you.

I have been in this store multiple times not for myself, but because my other half wants to window shop. We have never purchased anything here due to the high price. Clean store and professional staff, lots of nice looking products for sale.
Not really my style or price range, but good to have for those who are into these products.

Came here to look specifically at shoes for the baby. I agree in that it’s fair to say that Von Maur is comparable to Nordies in some ways. It’s a pricier department store albeit not the most wallet gouging. There was also some lovely live piano music being played when we went.
The children’s shoe department was bustling when we were there on a weekday. The two saleswomen appeared to be inundated with multiple requests so I appreciated the fact that one of them came over to ask us if we had any questions without me having to flag her down. Their infant shoe selection had mostly Uggs and Robeez. No Stuart Weitzman crib shoes here. You get the idea.
I liked how the infant department had a lot of toys, etc. in stock. More than a typical Nordies; however, I felt like their displays were overstocked and messy overall.
Still worth a peak though.

Von Maur is a Midwest department store chain. I’d say it’s pretty comparable to Nordstrom — its fairly upscale and carries some nice/​pricey brands, but is not as expensive as some other big department stores like Neiman Marcus. My mom came here to get her mother of the bride dress, since she didn’t want something typical and dowdy from a bridal shop. They had a great selection of dresses at very reasonable prices (mostly in the $ 100-​$ 200 range before sales, and then lots were on sale), and my mom ended up getting a couple different dresses, so she will have some choice. They also had a nice sale rack of more casual dresses, and I found 2 super cute Max & Cleo dresses on sale for around $ 50 each. We got very good service from the sales associates working in the women’s dress section.
