We sat and waited at the back of the restaurant for 15 minutes, where we were told someone would serve us. After that didn’t work we went to the front bar area with smaller tables and waited for someone there while looking at the waiter and bartender. I got up to ask if they were going to attend us and they said yes. 5 minutes later the person came to ask for drinks. 10 minutes later we didn’t have them and left. It seemed like the waiters wanted to spend their Friday night chatting instead of working Waste of time and bad service.

Very good food cooked fresh. This is puerto rican style food with a mixture of spanish style as well. For those who dont know. Puerto Rican food is different from spanish food. Spanish food is(Taste of Spain). I loved that its local because I usually have to travel to Rainbows in bridgeport. However, this is a real restaurant where as Rainbows is a more of pick your food that is precooked and displayed in front of you and then sit down in the 5 booths or so that is available. Albie’s is a full restaurant with a full bar. They even have a room in the back to rent in the back for small get togethers which has its own entrance. The prices are standard. Average price for dinner is $ 15-$ 20 per person without a drink. Dinner entrees are served with your choice of rice and beans and veggies. They have have appetizers, tapas, soups, salads, and entrees. They are really known for their empanadas. For puerto rican food lovers, they have mofongo, relleno de papa, pinchos, and pernil. And of course, cant forgot about the rice. Happy hour is M-F 4 – 6 pm. But on thursdays till 8 pm for college night. Happy hour for wings and some drinks is great. The bar menu is a seperate menu complete with burger, pizza, sandwiches, georgia hot and a select few seafood items. Lunch is mostly comprised of everything except dinner entrees are exchanged for sandwiches and wraps.
