History

Established in 1969.

Ralph Peach started Valley Garage Doors. I went to high school with his son Guy who wanted to change careers and sell the business. This created what was for me, the opportunity of a lifetime. Valley Garage Doors was purchased by me, Agi Dyer in 1992. I kept the DBA of Valley Garage Doors and also started Dyer’s Garage Doors. We started with a great business and business reputation and have grown exponentially since. Our crew are employees with decades of experience in the garage door industry. I’m a very grateful business owner. I feel lucky to be in California and VERY lucky to be in the United States. This is the country where dreams can come true. I immigrated as a baby from Austria, my parents left during the Hungarian Revolution. I have a wonderful, grown child and am now a grandmother! Here at Valley Garage Doors, I do my best so that our clients are happy and our employees are happy. We work very hard to take care of everyone who calls us. Here, you get either me, Theresa or my husband, Bill, on the phone and we’re all experts in garage doors. No phone trees or clerks here. Just qualifed people to help you along.
